Great Karoo Marketplace Buffet

This is the best breakfast buffet ever! Every item is scrumptious. Quality beyond comprehension. The staff is very accomodating. Go see Monica and get your hair braided after you are done in the lobby too;) It makes your day at the waterpark and vacation so much more fun;).

Easy access right inside resort and very good food at breakfast buffet! Just through the window from indoor water park, the breakfast buffet was clean and had tons of choices. We were pleasantly surprised. Excellent Orange juice (no pulp which my kids appreciated) Smoothies, fresh omelets, crispy bacon, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, bfast pizza…you name it they have it. We really had a great experience from the moment we walked in…service was a strong A+! Our waitress’s name is Pam and she was fantastic…great conversation and great recommendations regarding the resort and things to do while here⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The buffet always consists of great food and even better service. The coffee alone is better than most places. It may be a little more expensive than typical breakfast spots, but if you add it on when you make your reservation you can save a few dollars as well. It's a must when we are in the Dells and we always end up coming having breakfast at the buffet at least once.

This was our first time at Kalahari resorts, and we went here for breakfast, the food was awesome, Thank you to Roy the supervisor very nice and made the experience overall a great one, we will definitely be going back.

Good was amazing. The service for the most part was great. Just word of advice, make sure at least 1 person stays with the table. We went up to get food, and came back to find our table had been bussed, cleared, and re-seated. We were gone from the table less than 10 minutes.

Food was absolutely delicious and amazing! There's something for everyone. Three of us in our family are vegetarian, and there was plenty for vegetarians to eat. Desserts were out of this world! It's a one price per person Buffet all-you-can-eat.

I don't think its an exaggeration to say this is by far the best buffet I have ever been to. The selection and quality of food is extraordinary and the kids are in heaven. The service by Sara has also been amazing. She is so kind and helpful. It's absolutely worth the cost!

Absolutely loved their buffet food, and waiter. The price was a little high for my book, but it was so worth the food and enjoyment. Found it nestled inside the Kalahari resort.

Saturday July 15, 2023!! The Thompson Family Reunion folks hit the The Great Karoo Marketplace Buffet! There was probably 30 of us! The staff was welcoming to our entire party! The server for my table was ADE! I believe she was the server for most of us too!! She is a top notch employee! She consistently moved through the room, attending to our needs! I can't sing her praises enough!!! Many thanks to ADE for a job well done! 10/10, highly recommend! ADE, I hope to see you again and until next time I wish you all the best and God's blessings on you!!♥

Excellent food. 9.17.23 however we made a planning error. It’s not open M-F apparently September is not summer. My family and I went down on Monday the 18th and the buffet was closed. I won’t change my review stars because it WAS great… my bad on looking at google instead of the official website.

I wish this place would serve lunch and dinner. Everything was good. Would return. Prices are a bit high but everything is in the Khalahari.

Beautiful buffet with windows by the waterpark. Amazing food options. Even steak! Only gave a 4.5 due to the pancakes not being amazing. All the other food was fantastic. Excellent helpful, kind, attentive staff.

Very friendly staff and our waiter made sure every need of ours was met. It's a bit pricey but definitely worth a try. They have such a big spread of food to pick from and it's all very tasty. If you love breakfast or you're a big foodie this is for you.

For a buffet, it was pretty good. The eggs were watery and the hash browns and sausage were so greasy, but kinda expected. Everything else was pretty amazing. The waitress was accommodating with the 2 kids we had and got us Everything in a timely manner. I enjoyed the Breakfast food its open from 0830-1130

It was my daughter’s birthday and Lidya was our server. She was the nicest person ever and she went out of her way to make my daughter feel special. Thank you Lydia for the cupcake. You’re the best. We really enjoyed our breakfast both days. Love love this place.

Probably the best breakfast buffet I have ever been to. They must have top notch Chefs because everything is so fresh and delicious! Service is stellar! Highly recommended for the whole family.

If you are at Kalahari and considering where to go to eat, go to Great Karoo. It's worth it. When we were deciding on dinner, we opted for the Brew Pub. We paid way too much money for bad steak and odd appetizers. When it came time for breakfast, we changed course and went to the Great Karoo buffet. At first blush, it seemed a bit expensive. But it was well worth it! The food was amazing and they had every conceivable kind of food. My children are still talking about the fact that they had delicious, fresh cut prime rib for breakfast! They had stuffed French toast, chocolate chip pancakes, eggs Benedict, you name it! The service was phenomenal and they had a ton of food that appealed to kids (with smaller buffet stations so they could reach!). Our drinks were refreshed regularly and they constantly brought us new plates so we could try all of the delicious brunch offerings. I highly recommend this establishment!

The food is delicious a great variety and good quality! The service was great, Nicolo helped me and he was very friendly.

Great experience at the Round Rock location. We were a large party of 18, the food was great, and our waiter Kevin did a great job of making sure we had all we needed during our dining experience. There were several options on the buffet, and in my opinion worth the 22.00 price tag. We will return on our next visit to the resort.
