Tides Inn

Tides Inn was, without a doubt, the best place I have ever stayed in all my trips to Florida in my 62 years. I was amazed at how beautifully kept this property was. It was absolutely pristine! My room was perfect. The mattress on the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. Best mattress I have ever slept on and I wish I had one at home on my bed. Even the pillows were so wonderful. The room had everything I needed for my stay there. There is no way to put into words how genuinely pleased I was at the wonderful staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I was always greeted with the smile. Every single day it was as if everyone was so happy to see me and wanted to make sure my every need was taken care of. The beach umbrella and chair was free and were set up for me every day as soon as I was ready. I never had to wait. I just can’t say enough about the staff and how much I loved every one of them. I will never stay anywhere else when I go to Fort Lauderdale and I actually have two more trips planned in 2024 and have already booked my room with them. If you stay here you definitely won’t be disappointed.

We stayed here for the first time and I was really impressed with the level of service , Reynaldo 👱🏼‍♂ welcomed us at the front desk with a smile and a genuine willingness to help, our room was ready and impeccable by the way, he was also very kind to remind us about how we can request anything we might need.
On our way from the room to the beach this young kind fellow from the Hotel approached us to offer us a couple of beach chairs I was delightful to have that gesture and regretted not to ask about his name, at the end of our staying I had this feeling of not telling anyone 🤫 about this gem 💎 on the beach and keep it to ourselves 😉 . I am originally from Mexico and the whole experience reminded me of our known Hospitality. I will definitely be back to the Tides Inn . ✨☀💫🌴.

Great location, clean rooms, cutest place, nice and quiet! Will def be back and highly recommend ☺

The staff was so helpful getting us beach chairs and a beach umbrella , which were no extra charge, and the even set the umbrella up and took it down for us. It is on the beach and with the free city shuttle you don’t even need a car.

Great view, excellent service, friendly easy free parking, clean rooms and nice smelling, safe walk distance to restaurants. Will definitely come back and highly recommended

We really enjoyed our stay at The Tides. Reinaldo (manager), William (groundskeeper), Mary and Luz (housekeeping) and the rest of the staff made our stay enjoyable. Any issues we had were resolved promptly. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and our room, an efficiency, had everything we needed. The grounds were well maintained. I especially enjoyed lounging around in the hammocks. The place is small, which meant that we often had the pool to ourselves and the beach wasn’t crowded. They have beach chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, paddle boards, and bikes available for free and we used them all. The supermarket is within walking distance, as are several restaurants. I would definitely stay there again!

This place is fantastic...the room and the view was outstanding...we even had our own private patio that was chained off so no one could cut through...the kitchen had a refrigerator, sink, flat top stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, espresso, coffee cups, plates, silverware, table with 4 chairs...there was a lounger to lie on. The bathroom was a good size and had a great shower. They had glass shelves in the corner so I actually had space to put our bathroom necessities on...the closet was a good size with 10 hangers for your clothes, with an iron and ironing board and safe for your valuables. King size bed and TV with cable and Roku...they had beach towels, chairs, umbrella, pool, kayaks, bikes...

I would highly recommend going here...it is fabulous 🤗

Reynaldo Is a good host. We had a great time at Tides Inn hotel, they offered a lot of complementary things and the staff was very welcoming and Caring. Beach was easy to access, the evening time walk on the street was also great around the hotel, safe and clean hotel. I will highly recommend this place over any big hotel. The staff was very flexible too.

Great 10 room motel with excellent staff. Close to some wonderful restaurants among other things.
It's right on the beach and is so relaxing all around. Perfect for great getaway. There are kitchens in each room if you prefer to make your own meals. No coffee maker but an espresso machine.

The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. There were great restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable ,specially Reinaldo who is just the best. Would definitely stay there again.

This was such a cute hotel. It is right on the beach. The owner is super friendly and everyone at the hotel seemed to be having a great time. It was so clean and comfortable and I loved every minute of it. It is located in walking distance to everything.

What a special treat to stay at Tides Inn. My boyfriend and I stayed for a long weekend and wish we would’ve had more time To stay longer. So romantic, very clean property, nice rooms. The hotel is right in front of the ocean, great restaurants nearby and the staff was super attentive. The beach chairs and umbrella are such a neat touch! Thank you Reynaldo and all of the staff for an unforgettable vacation. We will be back!

Everyone was so friendly and laid back. Very clean. Very accommodating. I mistakenly booked not realizing the location vs where we were headed to next. I sent an email wanting to cancel. The email I got in response was friendly and helpful. I got busy and couldn’t continue with cancelling. By the time I could get back to it, I decided to just go and make the best of it. I am so happy I did. We loved the location as far as stay for a vaca. We have already started talking about going back.

We Love Tides. To call this location a gem is an understatement. This Inn is easy to miss & overlook, but to do so is a mistake. The staff is amazing the rooms were extremely clean and cozy for our familyof 5. With all that Tides Inn offers, this is the choice to make. 11/10.

Excellent hotel with perfect location. Extremely clean and very cozy! rather you are looking to come to Fort lauderdale with your family, with your couple or with a group of friends, this hotel is just perfect. Restaurants, shopping, and the beach are on a walking distance. Rooms very spacious and housekeeping excellent. Espresso coffee machine in room, mini bar, hairdryer and good shower. We had the penthouse room overlooking the ocean, it was paradise!!! The stuff was very attentive and courteous at all times. I will comeback to this beautiful hotel. Thank you all stuff for making our stay just perfect!

We feel lucky to have found this gem. It is a small ocean front property. Behind its gated front you will find a superbly designed beach hotel. Simple in it's approach, everything about the sleek design promotes relaxation and maximizes the natural beauty of the location. You will wake up, literally steps from the beach!
Key-less entry was awesome. No losing your room card on the beach! We were able to walk everywhere (Coffee shop, market, variety stores 5 minute walk, city center loaded with souvenir shops, restaurants, and bars a 7 min walk, laundry mat a 10 min walk) Everything is close!
The beach itself was pristine. Grooming took place every morning. Beach chairs & umbrellas were set for us every day. There were kayaks and bicycles. There is a small, tidy lawn with shady palms and hammocks.

The housekeeping staff was amazing. Not a speck of sand left in our room after she had been through. Every staff member was friendly, from the desk clerk to the housekeeper, to the young man who set up our chairs and umbrella...EVERYONE.

Ubers were easy to get for any destination long enough to require them.

The only drawbacks we noted were few and easy to accommodate. Parking was extremely limited. While it didn't affect us, if you drive here it might be an issue. Plan ahead. The office is not staffed 24 hours. You can get water from the water cooler during the day, but at night you are on your own. (Get to the Grocery store or refill your own container ahead of time!)

The place is kept tidy, and decor is up to date. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a few feet from the beach and a few walking blocks from restaurants..and the pier. The atmosphere was serene, and the sunrises on the beach are amazing.

There's complimentary breakfast served on the pool deck, bike rentals, and paddle boards. They have about 2-3 exercise machines on the lawn, and the pool is always clean and equipped with a lift/mechanism for disabled people.

The rooms with kitchens are fully equipped with utensils, cups, plates, pans, and then some. All you need to do is bring the marinade and the food.....

We enjoyed most of our time in between the pool and beach, and used the BBQ once or twice, which is right by the pool.

Very well maintained, tidy and clean 3 star motel with a small and nice private beach area. We stayed 3 nights in room 7 with Ocean View which was spacious and had a kitchen. It is a quite place in walking distances to a large grocery store and restaurants. Bright, minimalistic and yet cosy design. Very kind staff!

Little and beautiful hotel right in front of the beach. Very relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is located in the heart of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. Reynaldo was very nice and attentive.
The only thing I would improve are the mattresses (they are not firm enough and they are uncomfortable).
Highly recommended.
