Tropic Seas Beach Front Resort Motel

The ambience there is incredible. it’s run so well by the nicest folks ever and you feel really taken care of. The rooms feel like home and the pool is heated in the winter! Had an amazing time there new years and would highly recommend staying here above any pricey high rises. Close to shops dining and more, right on the beach as well. Great little place - location is great with direct beach access and a nice pool. Rooms are nice a little dated but spotlessly clean. Staff was fantastic and could not do enough for you. Walkable to all bars and restaurants in LBTS with a mini mall with a Publix and CVS to name a few just a short walk. I will be back ! Thank you

Went for a few days to go from Naples to the Atlantic side. The check- in was pleasant and our room was on the second floor, very clean and the beds were comfortable!over the kitchen and a full 12 cup coffee pot! Yeah!
Loved the laid back feel. Walked to restaurants for breakfast and dinner.

Perfect location! Walking distance to Publix, CVS, liquor store and very close to town with great restaurants and bars. No car needed!
The hotel was smack on the beach. Comfortable, clean, spacious. The staff is wonderful. Our flight got cancelled. We were in a panic. The manager was very understanding and we were able extend check out. We are planning on coming back next year!!!

I love everything. Location perfect , right on the beach, spectacular view from the balcony and the bedroom, walking distance to the restaurants and stores, do not need to move your car for no reason. The rooms not the newest but the atmosphere is amazing in the hotel, they thought about everything from beach bag for you to use to all the supplies for the beach available for the guests. No coffee in the room but enjoyed the small coffee corner with always available fresh coffee, tea, sunscreen etc. together with all the photos that give soul to this place. Family run, amazing owners, always there for your needs. grill ready to use with all that you need with it just one more thing for amazing vacation. Will be back 🥰

We absolutely loved our time here! The staff was super nice and helped us with all requests. Easy 5-10 minute walk to restaurants, bars, great night life. 3 minute walk to CVS, grocery store, liquor store, etc for anything you need. The pool was great and they had kid pool toys for family groups. You’re able to borrow beach chairs and umbrellas to take to the beach which is right in front of the property. The room was clean and the bed was super comfy. Would definitely come back! :)

This was a perfect location! The service was amazing as well! From wonderful front desk mangers to very friendly housekeeping staff. This resort is within walking distance of different coffee shops, grocery stores, and many many beach side restaurants. The pool area is very well maintained and everyone that was here was very sociable. We loved having access to a gas grill! It made everything so much easier to cook dinner with. We were able to cook dinner right by the pool and then enjoy it on the pool deck. Everything was very Covid safe and constantly being cleaned! If you are looking for somewhere to stay, look no further! This was one amazing place for our vacation.

A very family friendly hotel with the most comfortable beds I have slept. Beach front and has a pool too. The rooms are specious and has all the amenities. Free parking lot. Walking distance to publix and cvs etc and to lauderdale by the sea. We spent 3 days with my family, I wish we had more time.

Absolutely LOVED our weekend! Beautiful property footsteps from the Atlantic! Walking distance from shops and restaurants. Definitely will be staying again for quick getaway from other coast. Friendly staff we will definitely be back!

We love the Tropic Seas, right on the beach with plenty of beach chairs, great heated pool for those colder days. Kid friendly, great clean rooms recently remodeled. Walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores.
The best part is the friendly and helpful staff, thank you to Ronnie and Emy.

Excellent staff and location and VERY CLEAN which is important to me! I was hesitant to rate a 5 star because it's not the Ritz certainly. The only thing I didn't like was that I had a little trouble sleeping because there is a gathering place just outside my room where people hung out until late so I couldn't sleep. I could also hear everything in the room next to me BUT the staff was excellent, very clean, right on the beach, super cute 50s motel. If noise bothers you at night.... bring earplugs. It's a very friendly place and they had a community coffee maker with some light breakfast items in a community room.

Tropic Seas has been our winter destination for many years. You can't beat the location and lush tropical grounds that surround the courtyard pool area. All that and beach side if you want to take a dip in the ocean. The staff is welcoming and gracious. Most rooms are efficiencies with kitchens or kitchenettes so you can eat without leaving this tropical heaven.

Just finished our stay for the fifth year at Tropic Seas and plan on returning next year. We enjoyed the fresh air coming in through the newly fixed windows. Never needed to use the air conditioner. As always the staff was exceptional; taking care of whatever we needed. A special thanks to Emy. She is the best.

For the price you can't go wrong with this motel. Its location is fantastic, with direct access to the Atlantic Ocean a mere 50 yards from the property's pool/lounge area, & the section of Ft. Lauderdale Beach the property sits upon is extremely quiet, & safe.. Especially at night. Staff and other guests were all very friendly! While I was staying here, I was lucky enough to be able to go down and do a little late night surf fishing 🎣 and I wasn't disappointed! I caught several Barracuda in the 30"-40" range, as well as a nice Blue Fish & several small Jack's. The property was quaintly decorated for the holidays and very cozy. My suite's interior was kind of what you'd expect with any motel within this price range, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bathroom in our unit was updated, with a nice, large, walk-in style, glass-enclosed shower that would easily accommodate 2. For those of you who actually watch television while vacationing, you won't be disappointed with the 55" LG LED flat-screen TV in the living room area with digital cable service. They also offered free Wi-Fi, and free coffee, hot chocolate, & tea via a commercial grade Kuerig K-Cup coffee machine in the downstairs lobby. The motel's property and heated pool were both meticulously maintained and there were plenty of lounge chairs available for those who who enjoy some 🌞 worshipping. I'd definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this establishment for all of the above mentioned reasons.

Very intimate and quiet. Small hotel right on the beach! It's like having your own place at the beach. The staff treat you like family. Not fancy but everything you need. You can see and hear the ocean from every unit. Paradise! 5 minutes walk to cute downtown restaurants, bars and shops.

Absolutely fell in love with this vacation spot! If we’re not at Tropic Seas Resort, we’re talking about it or making plans to get back! Private beach, private drive, walking distance to grocery, liquor and restaurants… did I say I love this place?!

Stayed here with a group of friends in June, Super COVID-safe setup and friendly staff, Ronnie and Emy are the best!

They have a heated pool, grill, AND direct access to the beach, far enough off of the main cross for Lauderdale-by-the-Sea so the beach is rarely ever crowded. Still just a short 5min walk to the restaurants and shops in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea and a short carride to Ft. Lauderdale. Grocery store, breakfast spot and liquor store just a 5min walk away also.

Highly recommend Tropic Seas for when that getaway itch needs scratched!
