Crooked Shutter Treehouse

This is luxury fit into a treehouse. A masterpiece for sure !! Such amazing details and set in such a perfect location. You get the best of both worlds , being close to nature with the amazing view from the work table ,plus the uninterrupted WiFi which makes it a perfect work location .
The outdoor shower is another awesome feature! Listening to the birds chirping while taking a shower was a joy !!
This is something that needs to be experienced as words do not do enough justification .

We went as a family my young kids had an amazing time exploring and the spotting birds while we worked . The hosts were amazing !!
We drove 10+ hours to get to this location to stay in this house and it was totally worth the drive !!

My wife and I spent the night in January and we had a great time. The hist was very responsive to our questions, the drive from Charlotte an easy ride down route 16, and the grounds were beautiful. The check in process was simple. The thing that really blew us away was the level of detail that went into the house design. The outdoor shower actually heats the water and holds it until I was ready to use it - super helpful in January!! The deck had an amazing view and was wide enough for us to walk around without getting in each other's way. The bed was really comfy and once again - the details - an electrical outlet was located right on the side of the post so it was hidden from view but totally convenient. WiFi had a strong signal. The house was not just the perfect temperature but the decor also allowed for a cottage type feel - which is different than another similar place we stayed. This house had white-washed walls and plenty of windows to let the light in. Waking up and seeing the view from the loft is a nice way to start the day. And, the fire pit, was a nice touch as well in that it was smartly designed to also function as a grill if we'd have brought meat to cook. I highly recommend a stay - wish we'd stayed another night!

Our stay at the Crooked Shutter Treehouse was a much needed relaxing night away from home at the holidays. From the moment we walked in, we realized everything was taken care of from the beverages in the fridge, the snacks in the kitchen, to the games in the living room. The welcome booklet and instructions were very helpful and the owners were very responsive to any questions we had. We absolutely loved the remote location, the outdoor shower (which was amazing in December!), and the loft that overlooked the woods but the best part was cooking dinner and breakfast over the fire pit. We highly recommend Crooked Shutter Treehouse and give it 5 stars!

This Airbnb was such a great escape, so private and quiet, yet, close to everything. It was easy access, and the host assisted me with additional photos for parking as I was towing a 12ft trailer & motorcycle. Loved it! Will tell all my family & friends, such a cool place.

Another amazing stay at the Crooked Shutter Treehouse! A great place to get away and recharge the batteries! Morning coffee amongst the trees and peaceful fire at night, it does not get better than that!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and it was amazing. The picture do not do the amazing sunsets justice. We felt like we were on our own mountain top overlooking the beautiful trees. We used the firepit grill to make steaks and burgers for dinner, and it was perfect. The outdoor shower was very memorable, its hot ahead of time and is so cool to feel outside showering!! Its coverup up of course! haha. Absolutely amazing. It awesome to see we are having cool things built just miles outside of Charlotte.

We enjoyed the easy check in with the keyless entry to start our mini vacation. It was equipped with everything we needed. We were able to move freely in the treehouse. The balcony offered a breathtaking sunrise and sunset. The outdoor shower was wonderful and we were able to rinse away the dirt. We enjoyed sitting around the firepit area and letting the kids play in the surrounding wood area. The benches are nice around the firepit area. The signs and stickers on the lightswitches helped to know what goes with which switch. The mattress upstairs was very comfortable. The treehouse is close to local restaurants and shops.

We loved the crooked shutter tree house, what an amazing experience. Check in was easy and the host was very accommodating and responsive. The property and view, especially in the morning was something special. Can’t wait to stay there again. If you have an opportunity to stay there I would highly recommend.

We had an absolute BLAST at the Crooked Shutter Treehouse! The place is amazingly cool. Tucked in the trees with amazing views. The treehouse was immaculate. Everything is setup in such a fun way! I could seriously live here. It was our first experience staying in a treehouse and we've already booked another stay! Can't wait to come back for another relaxing weekend in the treehouse!

Weekend trip with girlfriends to the treehouse was a wonderful escape! They literally thought of everything! A great night of laughing & relaxing on the porch in the rocking chairs. Definitely a unique experience!

An absolutely stunning treehouse. The craftsmanship and attention to the details is superb. A lovely staycation for anyone local and certainly the perfect getaway for anyone traveling in.
