Collier True Value Hardware & Building Supplies

While about the size of one aisle from one of the big-box home improvement stores, this small shop easily makes up for it's limited products with expert knowledge and caring staff. I've never been there when there weren't more staff than customers ready to help you find something or explain how best to go about a project and what you might need for it. I would highly recommend stopping in here before heading to another store.

I needed some odd sized washers and bolts, they had the largest selection I've ever seen. The gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeably and friendly. This is a good old fashioned real hardware store with items that you'll never find in HD or Lowes.

A little higher prices, however the service and knowledge you get from this place is excellent. It's very conveniently located in my neighborhood so a lot of times I just go here instead of making the drive down to Home Depot. I like supporting the small guys too. Their employees just know what they're doing.

Took 7 window frames to Collier to have screens replaced (after trying to do this with Hanna Hardware). They gave me a quote to replace the frames and screens that was less than the price Hanna was charging to replace only a couple of frames and screens (3) and screens only (4). They had a delay in getting delivery of the frame material but called me and let me know. Called me when new frames and screens were complete - great job - very happy - gladly recommend them to anyone looking for screen repair.

Always friendly and knowledgeable. May be a bit more expensive (not that much though) than the mega-stores but they also carry many specialty items that the larger chains do not. I would choose to do business with this True Value HW over the others big stores any day.

I just love going to this store the people are always friendly and know what they are doing and they are also on the money when making keys. I have never had to return a key. Thank you for all your amazing work.

Best shop in town. You want honest knowledgeable service? Come here. Stop walking around lost at the big box stores where employees are to busy to care.
