Sea Watch On the Ocean

We celebrated a friend's birthday tonight, and it was phenomenal! This was my first time dining here. The service was super. Jennifer was our server, and she was so sweet. She was knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. Jeanette, the manager, was so sweet and personable. She was kind and took time to speak to us. The atmosphere was great! I loved feeling the ocean breeze coming in through the open windows. The food was SPOT ON! Everything we ate was so flavorful! It all came out hot and fresh. The crab cake and the slaw paired with it were so good. I'd love to have the recipe to make at home. I don't usually like conch fritters, but these were really good. The dipping sauces were a great addition. Thr bernaise sauce with the filet was so enjoyable that I dipped my veggies and shrimp into it also. The key lime pie dessert was so smooth and creamy!

Great place by the ocean. 50 year old tradition in the area. We really enjoyed our lunch here. This is the kind of place where you feel in another time. A better time. You are invited to visit this place and enjoy a great time and food.

Excellent food! We both chose the swordfish. Everything was prepared to perfection, and the service was outstanding.

As advertised, the view from the deck was enchanting. It is an enclosed room with ceiling fans and large awning windows that allow for the ocean breeze to waft through. I would only say that once that deck area filled up (our reservation was for 6:30 on a Tuesday), it did become very loud by 7:30.

The Sea Watch, in my opinion, is a must dining experience in the Ft Lauderdale area.

Had a beautiful view on the balcony. Got the roughy, salmon, conch fritters, and martinis. All the food were delicious.

Great classic South Florida eatery with an excellent view of the ocean. The orange roughy special was delicious. The key lime pie dessert was a bit small but very tasty.

One of the best restaurants in the area. Service is great and food is great. Prices are as expected and the views of the ocean are great. You can walk down to the beach after dinner or lunch. Highly recommend this spot.

This is a wonderful place to sit by the seaside and enjoy a high end, delicious meal in a setting that can feel as casual or as sophisticated as you wish. I had the lobster bisque and it was creamy and delicious. Our entire table enjoyed the well- plated food. Service was prompt and friendly. After dinner. You can walk on the beach.

Fantastic ocean and beach view, excellent location. Well kept, old style and very charming place. Only had drinks and shared a platter of crispy calamari. I loved the soy ginger-sesame-lime-cilantro & basil aioli sauces that came with it. Brianne (or Brianna) was very friendly and a great server. She’s excellent in overseeing her tables and has time to have good conversation, funny too ;-)
Will definitely come back and try out full dinner.

My wonderful in-laws Karen and Bob have celebrated my birthday here with me for the last 3 years. Beautiful restaurant with an amazing atmosphere, personable staff and great selection of seafood. I try something different everytime and am always so pleased. We travel from Orlando to spend time with family and Sea Watch is all of our favorite places to be together. What a view and the Key Lime pie is out of this world. Layla is just terrific, thank you.

🚨STOP & make sure you ask for Manager Janette G!!! This restaurant is very dear to me since my fiance asked my Parents for their blessing in asking me to become his bride about 2 1/2 years ago. I have always wanted to come back and now I will definitely be doing so to celebrate my 53rd birthday! Like most people, we want to plan a hassle-free get together without incurring the banquet costs for large parties. We are just under the number of people before this was to happen and I want to thank Janette G., for all her help in securing this venue for my celebration ! She was extremely helpful & with an amazing attitude and energy! I am confident that my guests will have an amazing time, most have never been to this restaurant! I want to also give a big shoutout to Tamara for going out of her way to connect me with the super busy Janette, so that I could ask some questions before I decided to reserve my dinner! Tamara was very patient with my initial questions and I can’t thank her enough for her assistance! This is the type of customer service that brings people back over and over again. The overall experience with the amazing cuisine, punctuated with top tier customer service. Janette made me FEEL welcomed and valued. Now I’m just one of millions of people on this Earth, that likes to think they’re special. Restaurants are a dime a dozen, but a successful restaurant knows its all in how an establishment makes you feel. THANK YOU!

It was our first time going to Sea Watch On the Ocean. The location is off Ft. Lauderdale Beach. The guests have the option of eating outside or inside. They can also leave the grounds to go to enjoy the beach area while waiting for dinner or after dinner. The service was outstanding. The view from the top area around the windows was fantastic. We tried an array of food on the menu. Although you need to be prepared to bring your wallet, you won't be disappointed. Inside the place was a barrage of ambient décor to add to the eating enjoyment. Would definitely go back. It was a class act. Probably suggest calling ahead and reserving a table.

My fiancé and I have heard great things about this restaurant and finally tried it. Very pleased. From the initial greeting to getting a tour after lunch, everything was smooth friendly and inviting. I had the salmon sandwich and a crab cake. The food was fresh and very tasty, only down was the crab cake was slightly burnt but the flavor beyond that was definitely there. We will defiantly be coming back for our work meetings with our partners.

Food and atmosphere were fantastic and our waitress Robin was incredible. Would absolutely recommend.

Loved the place and the ambiance. It's right by the water. Great view! The food was really good too. Nice staff. We came to celebrate our 5 years anniversary. We would come back.

This place was recommended to us by a few people, so we decided to have our anniversary dinner here. Our dinner experience was by far the Best Ever! Our server Ashley (I believe that's her name) was on point and didn't skip a beat! Although we weren't in her section and she took our table to help out a fellow coworker, she was spot on and we had little to no wait time in between courses. Service like hers should always be recognized. We really appreciate it Ashley and we Thank you again!
The food was AMAZING! Kudos to the chefs! Next time we're back in Florida, we'll definitely come back here and maybe be able to sit on the second floor with the gorgeous view people were telling us about.

It was super, a must visit when in Ft Laudetdale area. Awesome food, great service, and fenomenal views. And the house it self or location is inviting.
