My wife and I went here for her birthday this year and we were incredibly impressed. The owner was very friendly, as was our server, and it was a nice little shop and restaurant. The food was fantastic, the servings were very large and protein packed (not just sauce with little meat like many places do), and the menu was diverse and expansive.
Ever since my wife visited India a few years ago, she’s been on the hunt for good Indian food locally, and this is one of the restaurants that met and exceeded her expectations.

I was there when they were in an ice cream cone, and now when they have their great little retail spot. If you haven’t been here, shame on you! The food is amazing and made fresh to order. Just be prepared to wait. Give it time, it’s worth it. Pic is of the Chicken Tikka Masala pizza, which is insanely good, and the Lamb Korma burrito, which is almost as as big as my forearm!

Nothing like having good Indian food made inside a giant ice cream cone! We live about 45 minutes away but it was so worth the trip up there. They have Southern Indian specialities like Dosa. I particularly loved the Sri Lankan Kottu, which I don’t think you can get anywhere else in greater Philly. The Indian burritos are amusing. Can’t wait to go there again. It’s mostly a take out place but they have a couple of tables outside if you want to sit and eat there. The owner was incredibly nice.

Seriously AMAZING food. Family-owned store with fresh, homemade food that tastes better than any other Indian restaurant I've been to. I would highly recommend their paneer tikka masala biryani-- omg I would go to war for it! Also a great suggestion is their Indian-style pizza, great for a night with family or friends.
Owners are friendly, always with a smile on their face. They've also added some indoor seating recently. Every time I'm in the Collegeville area, I will make sure to pay a visit to ATEETHI!!

This was a very pleasant surprise! Ateethi is new to our area, but not new to cooking!! This is their third restaurant, and their expertise shows. The food was so flavorful, fabulous texture, with each dish falling into the familiar expectation but having a real dash of love to make it special! Also, the rice and naan were absolutely perfect. I have to say, we did not expect such big portions for the price. That is so nice these days when everything else gets marked up and inflated “due to COVID”. We will most definitely be ordering again from the yummy Indian restaurant in an ice cream cone!!! Thank you, Ateethi!

Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious. I was full by the time I took this photo. They had a coming soon sign with a list of grocery items-- which I cannot wait to check out! Joseph, the owner, was so polite and friendly! Definitely worth the visit! Support local businesses 🖤

What a little gem! Just up the road from Specks in an old ice cream stand, we were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. If you like indian food, this this gives authentic flavors at a great value.

Delicious, and different from most other Indian places. We got avial and utappam and a ptm as well as a sweet pudding-y treat with jackfruit and possibly banana. All great.

Tried the lamb vindaloo as that's just been my favorite for a long time. It was great - a bit fiery but not overly so. Overall, the sort of dish that induces audible "mmms" of food bliss with every bite kinda great. Yes, I did that. Lol
Could've used more rice to go along with the lamb... Also got some garlic naan - not the best I've had but it was certainly ok, and I don't think they charged me for it so that was nice. And the guy also gave me a complimentary container of a sweet dessert that I can't begin to remember the name of, but it was sort of a rather runny rice pudding thing. Good stuff. :)
It's a rare treat for me to go Indian due to finances, but I'll be coming here again next time the need overtakes me. Their prices aren't as steep as most other Indian restaurants in the area.
PS: if you find the place on your first attempt even with Maps help, you did better than me. It's a very odd place to tuck a restaurant into, but you'll get there...

Been here twice now and I have nothing but great things to say. Family owned and very friendly/welcoming, food is on point and authentic, generous portions at a very fair price point. Have travelled to India before and the flavors here at least match those in India itself. The only Indian restaurant we will go to now. Keep up the fantastic job that you’re doing!

The first time I ordered from this restaurant was through a well known app, but the delivery guy from the app just disappeared while my food was sitting in the restaurant waiting to be picked up. This was right before closing time. The owner personally called up the delivery app customer service to tell them how it was wrong to leave a customer like me hanging and waste good food. He talked to me and kept the place open long enough for me to drive there and pick it up in person. Obviously, this caring and great customer service earned him a lifetime customer. It also helped that the food is AMAZING, good portions and great price. Come here and you won't regret it

While this place is a little unorthodox, it's absolutely amazing. The gentleman who took my order suggested the Goat Masala and it did not disappoint. My father's Chicken Chettinadu was maybe the best bite of Indian food I've ever had. If I didn't live 8 hours away in North Carolina, I'd be eating here all the time.

Rava Dosa was delicious! Made to order. Mango Lassi was the best I've enjoyed - nice & thick, the way I like it. Absolutely recommend this place! Service was good too. Looking forward to trying more South Indian food from them.
FYI, this is a no frills place. Seating is outside. Inside has been converted into a grocery store but still has a table for 2 next to the freezers.
Driveway is tough to spot from Ridge Pike but if you miss it, go around to Germantown Pike & turn in at the big ice cream cone.

This is our favorite place for takeout. Their food is comforting, always consistent, affordable, decently portioned, and worth the wait every single time. The owners are very friendly. Their South Indian street-food inspired dishes seem to be their speciality, and is what I recommend if you’ve never tried the food. The grocery store for its size is well stocked with lots of unique items usually not found in other Indian grocers nearby. This place is a hidden gem, and serves way better food than any fancy, fine-dining Indian restaurant Ive visited. Nothing but love and good vibes.

So my husband and I went to this place for Indian groceries which are good quality and then noticed the restaurant menu.
We ordered Mysore masal dosa and enjoyed a good conversation with the owner Mr Manuel.
They gave us complimentary kulfi that was so awesome.
We definitely plan to go back to this place for food as well as their mouth watering kulfi and our good natured host.
Thank you for your hospitality.

The food is so genuine and delicious. The service is even better. The owners are so nice and whole hearted. They really do make their food with love. I also have to get the mango lassi every time! Can’t wait to go back.
