Tropical Island Restaurant

We put in 3 different orders in. The food was delicious! We could taste the right amount of season, there was true love put into the food as they cook it, the meats didn’t have lots of fat in it. Great portions! The restaurant is more on the modern side and colorful colors with an accent black geometric 2D wall that definitely stand out, the kitchen area is open and you are able to see it, the area is clean, customer services was great, the lovely lady came in check on us. We travel from a different state and we definitely we will be back!

Quaint little restaurant in Boynton Beach. Very popular and very busy. The fried snapper was huge and awesome. Friendly staff and good food. So if you are in search of Haitian or Caribbean food check them out. The are located on Boynton Beach Blvd, just before Dixie. I had a great experience.

I love Tropical Island Restaurant, this is the second time I've been here and I plan to come every time I'm in Florida, which is a couple times a year.

For now, I will just review my recent visit. They open early and serve breakfast, I was told they start serving lunch around 1130. I ordered the goat curry over the phone and the lady was so sweet. She kind of had a heavy Caribbean accent, I felt bad for making her repeat her sentence more than once. She was trying to ask me what kind of rice. lol In the end I said surprise me.
The goat curry is exactly what I expected, fall off the bone delish, it was a bit spicy but I loved it. The red onions and peppers on top paired well with it. I got the fried rice and all of it was sooo good. The crispiness of the plantains just brings the entire dish together. (Dip the plantain in the sauce, you'll thank me later)

Was better before they moved spent $21 on a couple pieces of oxtail...ever agin..just sad when I used to spend 3-4times a week

Absolutely the worse experience I've had with this restaurant. I used to love this place, often eating here 3-5 times per week. Tonight the service was beyond unacceptable. I will be in to speak with the management in the morning. Very disappointed and then the staff seemed to find pleasure in my dissatisfaction. Hopefully Jean will make it right.

I love the food. I can never drive by without stopping to buy myself and my family a meal. They have the best food in town overall. The owners of the business are the most lovely people ever. Jean and Lynn are the best of the best. Stop by and you will not be disappointed.

Great Haitian/Caribbean food! Got the soursop and oxtail, and highly recommend to try them out! Customer service was as good as the food! Great Grand opening!
