Red Carpet Inn Airport / Cruise Port Fort Lauderdale

Needed a night before a cruise, everywhere around was well over $200, most above 300. This was around 170, read the reviews and was a tad nervous. Am not upset about my choice. Staff was nice and funny. Room is clean, air works good. It’s not a high end Marriott but that’s not what I paid for. Think Motel 6 that’s been renovated and is clean. Nice room for a nights stay, or more if you need to.
Only cons are that the bathroom is small, kinda hard to get dressed in, and no restaurants in walking distance. They can’t fix the restaurant issue and the bathroom works well enough.
If you just need a decent place for the night, this does the job.

We were a bit concerned after reading all the negative reviews about this motel. Boy were we ever wrong. The location, amenities, cleanliness, and value were spot on. The friendly staff did an excellent job in making our stay pleasant. the motel/hotel Lobby, grounds and room were clean. The location of the Red Carpet in was great for a pre-cruise place to wait for your sail date. The place does not have all the bells and whistles of a 5-star motel, What they do have is a great value for a one-night stay. I would highly recommend this place, for the value, cleanliness, and great employees

Honestly I was a little nervous to stay here after some of the reviews but they must have gotten it together because we had no issues. Check in was easy, staff was kind, room was basic but nothing wrong with it. Would recommend if you need somewhere inexpensive to stay for a short time!

Not a bad place to stay on a budget! I was considering docking them a star because there was not a single square foot of red carpet in the facility, but I'm not THAT petty. Nice staff, free coffee in the morning, and a food truck right in the parking lot! I recommend

I think some of the reviews on here are overly harsh and kind of unrealistic given the price point and value the hotel provides. My family was stranded due to flight cancellations, and this was the most affordable option we could find by a considerable margin. Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was an issue with the door lock, but maintenance addressed the matter right away. The check-in process was a little time-consuming, but once again at this price point, the value provided by Red Carpet was perfect for us.

We have stayed at this hotel almost 15 years for our 1 or 2 weeks winter vacation while in Fort Lauderdale. Everyone from the owner, general manager, front desk, housekeeping and maintenance staff are all friendly, understanding, and do their best to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel has a beautiful pool, is clean, safe, well maintained and of great value. It will be nice to have the on site restaurant open again but is not far from Lester's diner by car down the street. Maybe someday the maintenance team could repaint the white parking lines so people park in the center of their spot.

They are in the process of renovating but otherwise good for the $. Staff was prompt when we discovered the hair dryer was broken. Maintenance was there with a replacement within 10 minutes. Alvin was friendly and efficient' he even replaced a malfunctioning bedside light. Had a good breakfast at the food truck parked in hotel parking lot. Overall, very satisfied 😌

Great value. The room was clean and updated. The pool was pretty good. Maybe I just got lucky but the shuttle picked me up right away. Very convenient for a quick stay from the airport.

Muhammad at the front desk took excellent care of me on the phone first and in person second. I was highly suspect of the hotels in the area, but this one is sparkly clean, no mold, just the perfect place to hang your hat for a night or even multiple nights with the restaurants next-door.

I will return !!

I really like the room, has everything someone would need, and it was very clean. Great price, especially at this time of year and right next to airport if you're flying. Surprised it's rated so low.. Location is eh for walking distance to beach, shops or restaurants but with a car you're golden. I would stay here again for sure.

Absolutely amazing staff! Extremely clean rooms, good location , nice pool area . Free shuttle to airport! We had a great experience and would return if back in Fort Lauderdale

Overall a decent place for a night in FLL, especially useful for airport and cruise port due to free shuttle.

Affordable and Excellent Service. I’m pretty OCD and I would give the cleanliness of the room 3.5 stars. I stayed because of the proximity to the airport and the length of my stay only being an overnight trip.

Friendliest hotel staff in Fort Lauderdale. Brittany and Carrie seem to be the most knowledgeable and by far the best workers they have.

I really enjoyed our overnight stay here. the rooms were super clean. The pool was also. No place to walk to unless you are ready for 20 mins stroll up Highway 84 to the closest gas station. The free shuttle to and from the airport is nice. Staff was friendly and let us check in at 9am when out flight arrived. So kind of them. I really love this place and it will be my go to when cruising from Ft. Lauderdale and Miami.

I just needed a bed for a night and it was a very nice, clean room. It's bare bones and the lobby is pretty dingy, but the room was clean and updated. I highly recommend it if you need a place to stay near the airport.

I can't offer any insights as to the hotel because I didn't get the opportunity to stay there. I had an emergency where I needed to book a room for someone, which was easy to do with them. However it turned out not to be necessary after all. When I called the front desk they were so professional and kind to allow me to cancel without charging me. Actually they refunded the charge as it had already been charged. So courteous and kind. I would certainly give them an opportunity to provide me an evening's rest.

We stayed here over the weekend for a conference. They were very accommodating for us, as we were in a bit of a pinch for places to stay, and check in was easy. The room itself was cleaned well, the bed was comfortable, and the washroom had no issues. No down comforters, but I believe they were available on request. We didn’t use the pool, but it was definitely well taken care of. The staff were patient, polite, and fast, and check out was a breeze. Internet was slow but usable. Although this wasn’t my first choice, I have no complaints.

This place is the true definition of you get what you paid for. We had an late night layover with a flight early the next morning. The shuttle pick ups to and from the airport were on time and quick (last pickup from airport is 10:45pm). The rooms were VERY very clean with fresh towels, shampoo, body wash, hairdryer included in the bathroom, and a surprisingly comfortable bed/pillows. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. You get the bare minimum so be sure to bring your own water bottles, toothpaste, brush. But it was convenient, cheap, and perfect for a night. I was hesitant to book this place based on the reviews but would most definitely stay here again for layovers!
