Rodeway Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport & Port Everglades Cruise Port Hotel

Our experience at Rodeway in was great! We checked in Friday evening for a cruise leaving Saturday morning. Our room was clean and the grounds were gorgeous. The complementary shuttle service from the airport and to the cruise port was organized and so convenient. Having the Bar & Grill connected to the hotel and breakfast provided made it the perfect all in one after so much traveling. The added bonus was the store in the lobby for late night snacks and the few items we realized we forgot to pack for vacation. Thank you for a great experience!

Great little hotel for one night to get to our cruise port.
Shuttle stops running at 12:45am just so y'all know. We got in after that due to a delay so we had to take an Uber to the hotel.
Bren was lovely and super kind. Since it was just me and my mom alone she moved us to a room inside which was so nice of her!

Bed was comfy and the room was updated.

Front desk staff answered all questions. Rooms were clean, spacious and up to date. Restaurant was very busy, we waited about 40+ minutes for our food, but server did inform us of the wait prior to ordering. Food was delicious! Courtyard area was well maintained with plenty of sitting areas. Breakfast was good. We used the shuttle service to get to and from Port Everglades without issue. Car was left on their lost while we were on our cruise. Will stay here again for our next cruise.

I've been to this property many times over the last fifteen years. It's always great. Rooms are clean, the pool is lovely, and they have everything you need right on property. Even though it is not near any other stores, they have a great gift shop and sell all the things you might need while there. Great bar/restaurant. Big thanks to Marvin, who made us feel welcome right away. The shuttle service and parking options are a huge plus as well. There's a reason we keep coming back and we have a ton of friends who do the same.

Impressed by our stay. When we booked 6 months prior to our cruise, the price was so much cheaper than any other hotel that my expectations were pretty low.

Turns out it’s really a fine place to stay. We stayed for 2 nights before our cruise and it turned out to fit our needs perfectly.

Obviously the rooms are not freshly renovated or anything, but the people were very, very nice with our family and helped with everything we needed.

Since we could not used the planned 10 or 11 o clock shuttle to the port because we would’ve arrived too early, they offered a late shuttle at noon that included late checkout for $5 per person, which I think is very much a bargain.

The breakfast was fine for our taste especially for just a night or two.

The only downside is we arrived on a night when there was a motorcycle event in the restaurant attached to the hotel, and we had a few episodes of kids waking up because of loud motorcycle burnout noises which was very unpleasant.

Otherwise, haven’t seen many family with kids around here, mostly elderly couples, but our kids are very well behaved so it wasn’t an issue at all for us, only made our stay better because they all loved our kids.

Rodeway Inn Ft. Lauderdale - best "motel" experience I've had staying at a Motel. We only choose to stay here bc they offer shuttle service for BOTH the airport & all the cruise ports. The place itself was clean plus they have breakfast! I personally don't eat breakfast, but my husband was very happy with the with the selection.
Since we arrived after midnight we didn't get to use the amenities though they did look very welcoming. Our had a large bubbling bathtub in the room and also have a separate shower in the bathroom. The pool looked refreshing and have several photo props setup on the grounds.
The shuttles to the port in morning we're very organized by the roadway staff.
I have no complaints (and I usually can find many) 😁 I do recommend Roadway if you're looking for an inexpensive way to stay overnight before your cruise instead of risking the chance of missing your cruise if your flight is delayed.

This place is super clean and well maintained despite how outdated their common areas are. The shower in the room was amazing.
My only disappointment is their customer service and room service.
The girls at Mariana 84 sports bar & grill are really sweet. They have live music in the weekends. Some fun people hangout in this place.
Will stay again if I have the opportunity.

The room was spotless, and the gentleman at the front desk who checked us in was amiable and informative. I was only there for one night, and that's all I needed. This is a good option if you want someplace affordable to rest for a night or two. This is a decent quality 2-3 Star Hotel.

I absolutely loved this place! My husband and I had a long layover between getting off our cruise and our flight back home. Instead of waiting at the airport for 6hrs, we decided to rent a day room here! I absolutely enjoyed the short amount of time we were there! Shuttle driver was the bomb!! He was so organized and got us where we needed to be!! Front desk crew was amazing as well!

This hotel is a travelers' gem! The clean and practical room offered everything we needed for our brief stopover between two cruises. The affordable on-site guest laundry was much appreciated. The gift shop was fully equipped and a pleasure to browse. The courtyard garden was a surprise oasis and the serenade of the birds at dusk was a remarkable event. The staff did an excellent job organizing the transportation of airport and cruise guests. We will definitely stay at this safe an affordable hotel in the future. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!

A group of 15 of us stayed at this location before and after a cruise. Staff was amazing especially Izzy and Marvin. Rooms are clean. Our flights were canceled out of Ft Lauderdale into Cleveland because of weather. Unfortunately, this hotel and their sister hotel were all booked up. Izzy made sure to get us a late check out and a private shuttle to our next hotel. Bar and grille was an added bonus with pretty good food. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our time at the rodeway, and did not encounter any issues. When we arrived early, there was a place to store our luggage, as well as a place to change into our bathing suits and hang out by the pool. The breakfast was good. The room was clean. And the organization of the shuttles was superior.

I can only comment on the 14 hours we were there. The room was nice. Clean. We Sat by the pool for a little while. It looked good. The staff was friendly. The bar/restaurant next door (and connected) was very good.

After a very stressful day dealing with Spirit Airlines. I called and Brea was very helpful, understanding and showed exceptional customer service.

Everything was great. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Manager upgraded us to a jacuzzi suite with a complimentary bottle of wine for our honeymoon. Easy transport to airport and cruise port.

We thought this was a great hotel. Very clean and pleasant and Russ was a wonderful host checking us in. Very quiet!The grounds are nice and they do have a limited breakfast but decent. There is a bar and grill on site with good food. Saved us from having to elsewhere for dinner. Nice pool also. They have a shuttle which pick us up at the airport and took us to the cruise port the next day. We would definitely stay here again.

I cannot say enough about this hotel!! We were in a CRISES with our luggage from SPIRIT AIR. We had to be on cruise ship by 1:30.. but our luggage never showed up until AFTER we left the hotel on the LAST available shuttle to the ship terminal. The SPIRIT AIR transport refused to bring our luggage to the ship terminal. Rodeway Inn called us to let us know our luggage had arrived. I was in tears because there was no way we could get it as the ship closes all boarding at 3:00pm. I asked if there was anyone available we could pay to bring our luggage to the terminal (all we had was 1 outfit in our carryon.. but we were determined to go on this cruise-it was my 60th birthday celebration) The lady asked me to hold the line- she came back on "my boss is putting your luggage in his car as we speak- he will be there in 15 min!" I burst into tears when I saw him drive up.. gave him a big hug.. and said "I'll never forget you guys!" A hotel that goes ABOVE AND BEYOND their required services.. you. cannot go wrong!! A++++++++

I always spend the first night at this hotel. They pick me up from the airport and take me to the cruise port the next day. Service is excellent. Staff friendly and helpful.

If you're looking for a fancy schmancy hotel, this place is not for you. But if want to be treated to the best customer service, this is the spot! Warm, friendly and welcoming, the staff does their best to make you feel like visiting family.
