Encounter Church

This is such a wonderful place but it’s the people and the genuine love for others that keeps me coming back! I’ve been a member of a few different churches but I think I’ve finally found my place with this one!

If you are anxious to know if God really moves, visit Encounter Church. The Spirit of God is here and active. The church offers great opportunities to get involved through small groups that meet throughout the week where you can meet new friends and grow together in your relationship with Jesus. Encounter Church is extremely diverse - it's not uncommon that you'll hear some other languages spoken by those around you as you prepare your delicious coffee before service. The church is full of loving people and offers a great Children's Ministry where your kids will learn and grow as well.

Beautiful church, the first moment you get there they make you feel like family. Warming people with a divine vision and union.

This church is everything God's word says The Church should be! My family & I were invited a year ago for their 4 year anniversary celebration. All of my searching for at least the previous 3 years & all the church hopping culminated in 100% confirmation from the Lord that day that this was the house He had been leading us to the entire time. God is ALIVE & His presence is in & overflows from Encounter Church. My life & walk with the Lord changed the moment I started attending & will never be the same! I visited Encounter Church during a vacation to Atlanta and it was amazing. This place really has a heart for their community and for people. I instantly felt welcomed by everyone. I also really enjoyed the Worship. It was beautiful to see so many young people pressing into God's presence.

My wife and just went for the first time today , we have been looking for a church here in Kennesaw area for over 6 months that both fits our needs and where we can offer our gifts and talents as well. I love that it is extremely diverse in age and diversity. They said they just moved into a new building and it appears that they will outgrow it sooner than they think. We are already looking forward to next week as this is truly a church to get in touch with Jesus and to follow his one true commandment to us : To go and make disciples, and love one another!

This church is called Encounter for a reason! If you are looking to encounter God in a way like never before, this is for you! I started attending out of curiosity and encountered God in a way that has changed my life FOREVER and I had been a Christian for years! Not only has my understanding of God changed but I gained a new revelation of what church is supposed to be. The members of this church have become family and are always there for the big moments in life and the small. Not only have they helped me encounter God, but they have encouraged me every step of the way in my walk with God. I have never had so much joy and been so close to God!

If you are tired of going through the cycles of life with constant questions or are just looking to try something new, give it a shot! You will not be disappointed!!!

Encounter church is amazing! The people are so warm and welcoming and genuine. You really will ENCOUNTER the presence of God when you come. Powerful and anointed Word every week, great worship, amazing hospitality and genuine people! Love it!

Encounter church is a church with a heart for God! I was lost and bound up with addictions and confusion and I remember praying to God that I needed help. Next thing I know I met the pastor while I was at work. He invited me to church, I came once and have only missed 3 Sundays in 2 1/2 years! I love this church and love God even more for answering my prayer!

Very much a "come as you are" place. You can wear your jeans in and focus on experiencing God as you learn some well founded biblical principles from a casual looking team who will reach out and hug you if that's what will bless you.

I've been at this church for nearly three years and if there's one thing I can say it's that God is here! God's heart for people is definitely reflected through these folks! You can't help but feeling that everyone here genuinely cares about you!
