Cedarcrest Church

A little over a year ago, I know wholeheartedly that God aimed me towards Cedarcrest Church. Since then I have had a dynamic transformation. I’ve grown in Faith immensely.
The leaders of this Church introduced me to a small group and encouraged me to serve.
They are passionate about the Kids Program. It’s a fun environment where they can encounter Jesus.
Pastor Van is so authentic. His teachings are direct and truthful, but very gentle and loving.
I LOVE Cedarcrest Church and all of its Leaders , staff, and people!

Great Church although one of the leaders encouraged me so much to join a group then when he seen me for the first time one night it's like his whole demeanor changed. Never heard anything from him after that first Wednesday we met. I even reached out to him a few times email and by text. Nothing.
But Pastor Vann, great Pastor. Great Worship, overall this is the place to be.

The best!! Love Jesus Christ and love God and his people!! It's a safe place to worship and no judge mentality at all!! A family place. Kids and middle school have Bible study classes! God bless you! Come and be a part of God's kingdom!

My husband and I starting coming to Cedarcrest in the middle of December 2021. So far we have been getting to know the people and getting connected with the church. Pastor Van preaches with such passion and it’s all biblical and spirit lead. Richard is a great teacher as well and we love the worship and love how they allow the Holy Spirit to move. We are feeling super blessed to be here. Excited for what God has in store! 🙌🏼🙏🏼

Amazing place. The staff and pastor are great as well. This place is a Jesus church that isn't going to push you in a certain direction. All are welcome

I LOVE Cedarcrest Church!! Pastor Van is an amazing teacher, who is genuine in his love and care for people, and always “walks the walk”. The people at this church are real and down to earth; regular people going through the issues of life and living out the love of Christ with each other and our community. I am beyond grateful for this church family and thank God for leading me here!

I absolutely LOVE being a member of Cedarcrest Church. Pastor Van & his wife, Kelly Vandegriff, are so filled with the Holy Spirit; and their walk with Jesus is so genuine and heartfelt. Cedarcrest has so many HARD-WORKING, DEDICATED members who pour their hearts into the ministry… Outstanding warriors whom I’ve had the privilege of working alongside, like Derek & Cynthia Ray; Richard & Sherry Hopkins, Pat & Fay McCord, Mary Harmon, Kristen Baldus, and all the volunteers for the Children’s ministry (with special thanks given to Virginia Taylor, Jane Bentley, and Kathi Miller, who has left a profound impact on my life), the Service & Greeting committee… so many recognizable, unlisted, committed, leaders. The best church I have found after 10+ years of searching! I love this place. Such a wonderful church. Don't take my word for it, please come visit. I am certain you will be impressed. I always leave feeling uplifted. This church cares about us as individuals and Scott, Jonathan, Derek, everyone there is so wonderful and welcoming. I am so proud to be part of this church and watching the great things they do nationally and globally. I can't express how much they have taken care of us. Phenomenal place, please check it out.👍

I love the leadership of our church. During these difficult times I am so thankful that common sense has prevailed. The music is a salve to my soul and brings me so much peace. Van’s true passion for our Father just gathers you in and makes you feel a part of something that is bigger and better then ourselves .

If you’re looking for a Jesus Church, you’ve found it. Love the staff and my fellow church goers. I went by myself in January and found it very easy to get plugged in. That hasn’t been the case for me in years and years of moving to new places. The women are amazing at this church. I’m sure everyone is, but I’ve gotten involved with an incredible group of women through a small group Bible Study. It’s been life changing for me. And the new pastor and his family - you can tell by watching them - they love Jesus!!!

Today was my first time visiting Cedercrest Church and I truly enjoyed it. The worship music was wonderful. The sermon was very well delivered. The children's classes , according to my kiddos, were great. But most importantly, the members of the congregation we helpful, welcoming, and kind. I am a Roman Catholic, but searching for a nondenominational Christian based church to strengthen my relationship with Christ; and I think I may have just found the right church for me. I will definitely be back next Sunday!!

We've been going to Cedarcrest Church for about 7-8 months now. We visited a few churches and met a lot of great people. Something about the folks at Cedarcrest. We met a group of passionate and theologically sound people who were outward & missions focused.

We've since settled into a life group and are thankful we found this church. Recommended if you are looking!

We LOVE Cedarcrest Church!! My family and I have been members for over 10 years. The church is so inviting, and the people who attend and work there truly care about us! Van is an amazing pastor, he preaches right out of the Bible. Truly a Jesus Church!!
Cedarcrest is very involved in their community; providing lunches to kids in the summer, backpacks & supplies for back to school, Thanksgiving dinners and now providing meals for any family in need and computers to students so they can participate and learn at home during “shelter in place”.
Cedarcrest is our forever home!

Visited this church for a special memorial service. Met the Sr Pastor and other staff members. Super-friendly, welcoming team. Heard the Sr. Pastor speak and he delivered a great message. If you live in the Acworth area and are looking for a church, I would definitely recommend you check them out.

Great service, wonderful message, and very relatable

Great church with great people that attend, this is a place where you can come as you are an feel welcome each and everyday. Cedarcrest is also entering a new chapter with a new Senior pastor who preaches with a ton of energy andit feels like he's speaking to you. Cedarcrest also offers the ability to stream their 10am service through their website.

People are friendly, preaching is awesome. Happy to call this my church.

I so much enjoy the greetings & smiles on Sunday mornings at Cedarcrest Church. In the winter the fire is so welcoming.

A place to studyGod's word and worship in heart and spirit. Good people, Godly teachers and pastors. The preaching is sound scriptural and very uplifting. A place filled with love.
