Outback Steakhouse

We were seated outside (weather was perfect for it!) and often if you're seated outdoors at a restaurant, service is skimpy. That was not the case here. The service and food were both wonderful! Our server, Chris, made sure everything was good, and he was awesome! When you have a server with a happy smile and demeanor, it adds to everything. The manager even came out to check on those dining outside. I'd definitely go again!

Malachi was knowledgeable and prompt on delivery. He had great presence and was professional. Steak cooked to perfection thanks to the chef in the back. I would definitely recommend this STEAK HOUSE to anyone traveling in the New River Valley area. The Salmon & mix vegetables were perfect. Ask for Malachi.

Rose was our waitress. She did phenomenal. Our drinks stayed full. She checked up on us regularly. We did not have to wait to be seated. The food was excellent. The steaks cooked perfectly. At the end of the meal, the manager Beth came to check on our experience. She actually took time to stand there and talk with us too. It wasn't just a how's your dinner and move on. The quality of the staff here is outstanding and they truly care about the customer experience.

Our waiter was great and had amazing customer service. I will definitely go back.

We did not have to wait long to be serve, very accommodating place had great ambience, food was amazingly good.

I went to dinner early evening
at Outback in Christiansburg and had a great time with family and the food was really good. All food came out timely and hot!!

Malachi was our sever and he was Awesome!! He was friendly, patient and helpful to my family while we were dining there! Thank you again Malachi!

Marcus is the young man you want to be your server! We were blessed to have this young man as our server again. He is absolutely amazing. Friendly and pilot. He never seemed to get raddled my taking all 7 of our orders no matter the add to or take away from the dish. He was on top of making sure the appetizers came quickly and with plenty of time to enjoy before the salad arrived. We received our meals exactly the way they were ordered. No one had a empty glass and we never had to ask for a refill. We didn't feel rushed to leave and having the manager stop by and check on us seemed very genuine. We look forward to our next visit or celebration as last night was for my wonderful husband's birthday dinner. We will be more excited to know we can request for Marcus to be our server and we will most certainly do so!

Love the new menu items! The asparagus wasn't good but the rest was amazing, especially the new hot honey fried shrimp. Service was good overall but not great. I would highly recommend.

Marcus is great! He’s been my server several times and he’s very polite and takes care of everyone at the table! As you can see the food was cooked perfectly and delicious. Love the Christiansburg, Va Outback!

One of the nicer Outback locations I've been too. The food was delicious and brought out quickly. The service was great.

The service is excellent and there's a really great atmosphere in the restaurant and bar areas. They make amazing martinis and I love the French onion soup. They have crab legs on special and can be ordered as a side.

My group of friends and I went to eat here today and although they were very clearly swamped with customers, we all felt very comfortable. This was due to our server Tabatha. She is fantastic. She kept us updated constantly on the progress of our food and making sure we were doing well while we waited. Not only that, but her presence and enthusiasm makes me want to be a repeat customer for her. She makes you feel at home.

Highly recommend this staff and restaurant as a whole. We went on a Saturday early evening, and it was stacked. But let me tell you, they had their systems together, and we had a fabulous dinner.

Drinks, food, and friendliness of the staff went well beyond my expectations being so busy..... Definitely would love to return. The waitress was fabulous with helping get me a drink, they were out of the rum I requested, and came back promptly to fix it fast. The bartender even came by as well to apologize for the inconvenience, and to get me the best drink i could get..

One of the managers even came by to ask us how our meal was, and again 5 stars. I hope 30% was enough for the 4 of us.

We had such a great experience during our recent stop at this Outback that it merited a review. The service in particular was so good - as I joked to my husband, I’ve had worse service at places with a Michelin star! We were greeted immediately and very friendly at the immaculately clean host stand, and immediately seated. Our server, Rose, stayed for an extra 30 seconds when I saw my husband was on his way back from the restroom, so she could get his drink order. Those drinks were delivered promptly, and Rose attentively took our order as soon as we were ready. A support staff member asked if we’d like more bread and delivered it. As soon as our meals arrived, Rose and the food runner both made sure we didn’t need anything else. And a manager, Beth, stopped by just to make sure we were doing alright.

Eve and Cate were the BEST servers! We had a fantastic meal and they refilled our waters multiple times without us ever having to ask. And that was a lot because our friend Ethan was SLURPING down that H2O. Will definitely come back and ask for them again.

Malachi was such a great server!!! We had a huge group and everything came out hot and correct! I never had to wait on a drink or bread refill! We only get to splurge as a group eating out every so often, we had a great time.

Tabitha was an incredible server who was always checking to make sure we had everything we needed even when the restaurant was packed. I can not recommend her enough and she gave amazing recommendations for food to order and try! Easy 5 start rating for her!
