I’ve stayed here for 3 years in a row and just booked the 4th year! The location couldn’t be better! You’re right on the ocean and a 3 minute walk from the downtown. The staff and room service is great and the size of the rooms are perfect! The pool is also very nice and always clean. Highly recommend .

Had never been there. Showed up without a reservation. The staff was wonderful and friendly. Our room was very clean and more than we expected. It was quiet and relaxing. Located right on the beach. Sitting outside and enjoying the view was just what we needed. Would definitely go back and looking forward to it.

Went with a group of 8 fun woman (50ish) for our annual "Girls Beach Party" weekend over Labor Day Weekend 2015. We all had a great time...the rooms where clean, the pool area was nice... exactly what we had reserved. The staff...Yolanda at the office.....our little Cupcake, was as sweet as could be!! Would definitely stay there again. We are all local residents and had a very fun weekend at the beach!!!

This hotel was recommended to us by some friends that had stayed there. As soon as we arrived we were very impressed on how this placed was maintained. The staff is very friendly and professional. It's only a 10 minute walk to the strip that hosts many restaurants and other shops. My wife and I are extremely happy we stayed here. It is a true gem!

We love "throw-back" resorts and this one fills the bill. Located on the beach in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, this quaint, converted motel complex has a pool, grills, and laundry. But, most of all, it has EXCELLENT wifi (upgraded several years ago). So, if you can "work from home", you can certainly vacation here and see no difference (except for the beautiful, subtropical surroundings). You're only a short walk away from the town tennis courts and the "downtown" area (which is one block by two blocks) and contains several wonderful restaurants. This is a great destination no matter how you're traveling (single, couple, family).

This is the 2nd time we stayed here and are always soooo pleased with the accommodations. I can not say enough about the staff. Kathy and Florence are an absolute gem!!! They will do anything possible to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. I also have to comment on the people who maintain this wonderful place... They are also awesome! Our room was kept spotless as well as the pool and surrounding areas. My daughter visited us and was also very happy with this little gem, to the point my grandkids didn't want to leave, and that is saying a lot! Thanks again everyone for such a wonderful experience hope to see you again next year!

Had a very nice stay here at the beginning of January. It was very relaxing and located in a good spot. About a 5 minute walk from town without all the craziness. Everything was always clean and spotless and the staff were also extremely friendly as well!

Our favorite place to stay on the beach. The location is just perfect, the rooms are clean and fully equipped, you just need to bring clothes and food. The manager Florence is the best. Highly recommended 👌

Absolutely gorgeous place right on the Atlantic. We've met so many people from Sweden and Germany here..wonderful! A lot of repeat guests. Very friendly staff and of course, the ever popular Theresa! Always welcoming! Booked for a 3rd visit!

We've been going to Southern Seas (aka Souters) for about 20 years. Wonderful location and nice accommodations. Teresa is a wonderful resort manager. Recommended.

Come here every year for Thanksgiving for a family reunion. It's gorgeous and the owners are always so nice and accommodating.
