We loved this trail! We are not seasoned hikers and went with our tennis shoes . Starts out on a gravel driveway for about half mile before you get into woods.
Once in the woods there is a gradual incline but not too bad. You cross a creek at 2 spots walking across rocks. It’s all in a valley so getting lost would be pretty hard! And there white dots painted trees to keep you on trail …
3/4 of way up there’s a section that’s about a 6 foot incline with rocks to step up and about a 20 foot section that’s about 8 inches wide then walk across stream again and you’ll see the most beautiful waterfall!!
Whole trail was maybe 3 miles .. didn’t take long and didn’t seem long cause it’s very interesting. Not looking at just trees. It’s all along the creek and very beautiful!!

Others say they took dogs and although that may be I wouldn’t take mine. Some drop offs are narrow with a ?20 foot drop..
it was amazing! They don’t charge for parking or hiking but we left $20 in the donation box .. it was a blast and it’s hard to believe they do t charge..
and the ladies in the office were the friendliest people you ever wanna meet!

I chose moderate cause they don’t really give an accurate option but it’s easy with a couple maybe moderate sections but overall easy..
Our heart rates stayed about average

Beautiful falls, easy hike. You have to walk through a camp to get there though. I went in the off-season, not sure how access is during peak summer months.

Had a great hike! Trail is a nice nature hike, not manicured like your state maintained trails but still very nice. My GPS showed about 1.7 miles from the parking lot to the falls. It was an easy accent. There are a few places that you need to be careful and take your time but it's not bad. The falls are beautiful! I will make this hike again.

These falls are located on the Alta Mons Methodist Church summer campground. The hike is about three miles round trip with three stream crossings along the way. It starts out on a gravel road through the campground and then changes to single track with some more technical sections and the stream crossings. The trail is very pretty and the falls themselves are very photogenic. There is some bouldering to get to the base of the falls. Lots of folks like to bring their dogs with them on this hike. I have done this trail numerous times and noticed that many dogs, especially smaller breeds, have difficulty negotiating the technical steep section halfway up and at the falls where there are very large boulders. Dog owners may want to consider this before bringing their furry friends on this trek.

Fun hike. Beautiful this time of year. Some challenging sections at stream crossings and climbing to see the falls. Dog friendly. Close camping (with hookups).

Perhaps I took too many pictures. I had good reason! Thanks for letting us enjoy this beautiful property.
The hike from the parking lot to the trail was pleasant, but the trail to the falls was nothing short of enchanting. We had a good time, two adults, a 6 year old and an 8 year old. Our youngest had a little difficulty with the rocks and streams, but she rose to the challenge and had a blast. The falls were beautiful, even if a little chilly in mid-February. Looking forward to our next visit!

It's a 1.5 hour hike on an easy well-marked trail with around 360 ft of elevation gain. You need to cross the stream three times, so make sure you wear a waterproof shoe.

Relatively easy hike for the first mile then it starts getting some fun , most of the trail is completely exposed to the sun so make sure to wear a sunscreen.
One great thing about it that it is not too crowded, when I made it finally to the gorgeous waterfall nobody was there and I enjoyed myself for almost 30 min which was great!
Highly recommended.
I also found a snake in the last few steps before getting back to the car, more fun 😝.

The hike up to stiles falls isn’t super easy for the last quarter of the hike but the end result is worth it. The first 3/5 of the trail is basically a gravel driveway easy for most anyone that is mostly flat. The rest of the hike involves following the blaze trail with a total of 3 stream crossings (by rock hopping or wading through the stream) and finished off by some boulder climbing. I’d recommend the first part of the hike to anyone, but to climb up to the falls you need to have a little bit of agility as it’s not hard but not easy either. Just visiting here recently brought back a lot of memories from when I was a child and camping and hiking here all the time. I’m glad they’ve been able to maintain the area and keep the camp open. Hoping to make it back down for future visits!

Hiked this twice now, and it is a charming and enchanting place. Two creek crossings, which are t too bad, depending on the time of year. We’ve just gone in spring so far. It’s two miles one way or four miles in and out. When you get to the falls, you do have to scramble up some rocks. We managed to get a baby/toddler and a dog up there. I climbed up with our daughter on my back in a carrier, and put her down while she was still in the big carrier the second time (first time, someone was as with us and held her), and then my husband handed me the dog and I helped her get up by grabbing her harness. You can swim in the pool up at the top there, and it’s really lovely. Highly recommend. Moderate difficulty and not too much traffic.

Awesome place to hike. In general people are friendly. It's about 4 miles total to and from the waterfall. You will have to park; walk 1 mile of flat road; walk 1 mile of moderately tough terrain to the waterfall; you will have to cross the river twice. The trail is dog friendly. DO NOT hold onto the ropes when you see them; I wished they put up signs to warn hikers as kids and elders have a tendency to use that as a hand rail (people with that inclination could just go diving down the treacherous slopes). This is a private property area, so be grateful they are allowing public access. At the parking lot there is male/female bathrooms; the male bathroom, for sure, has a shower. There are picnic areas, volleyball + basketball courts, and a playground at the parking area. You will be hard-pressed to see anything greener in the summertime. There's even a small pond to fish.

This place is stunning, it’s a half flat, half really challenging hike toward the end but so worth it. It was a great workout lol We went on a sunny day, bumped into plenty of other friendly hikers too. The falls were awesome and crystal clear. Great experience.

This was an amazing hike! It provided a great experience with lots of beautiful scenery. My favorite part was being able to cross over the streams!

The waterfall is absolutely beautiful and the hike there is decent. A good portion of the hike is along a gravel road which is fairly flat as you wind through the camp area, but once you get back into the woods the hike becomes much more scenic. If you are careful, you can cross the creek without getting wet, but no guarantees...

It was beautiful and unforgettable, but if you are not in the best physical shape it is going to be difficult. Especially if you have fibromyalgia but if you are in good shape it is not bad. It starts out level, but when you get about half way it gets uneven and pretty steep in certain areas. Overall it was a awesome and I would definatly do it again.

I shot an engagement session here this fall and it was gorgeous! The hike was pretty easy. Mostly low grade with the harder parts being short towards the end. About a 30-45min hike to the falls with great views along the creek once you get past the fields. Don’t recommend for children or those with difficulties as parts cross over the creek and the rocks are quite slippery.

The trail is on a church's property, so please be respectful and kind to the property! You need to walk about 1/2 or 3/4 of a mile to the trail itself, and there are posted signs along the whole way. Once on the trail, it's well maintained with three river crossings. For the most part, there are enough rocks that you won't get too wet. However, some of the rocks were partially submerged. Excellent hike and beautiful falls.

Awesome hike! The trail meanders through beautiful country and follows a creek that leads to a great final challenge to the falls.

Awesome hike and beautiful land. Not much traffic either. You do have to climb quite a bit so I would say a moderate course
