Shore Haven Resort Inn

Showed up early for check in. The owner, who was cleaning up around the pool at the time we arrived, happily let us check in hours before we were scheduled.
Location was amazing, so close to the center of town and all that was happening.
The hot tub was a welcome surprise for a late night soak under the stars.

I needed a room at the last minute on a busy Friday and came here as they had 2 rooms left. I rented it expecting a small bed and small bathroom. I was shocked to be greated with a large entry way, with large walk in closet with bench, plus a large room with 2 beds, couch, desk, ET center, and normal size bathroom. Then surprise! There was a full kitchen. Regular fridge and an electric stove. 2 pools plus a hot tub. The grounds are so eccentric and refreshing. There are plants everywhere, making it easy to forget you are smack dab in the middle of the city. Location couldn't be better. Employees are super kind and helpful. Only cons: The rooms are dated and parking spots can be tricky to get out of.
I will be back again to enjoy!

We absolutely love coming to Shore Haven! Our room is always clean and we love the little kitchens in each room. Also, the landscaping is to die for! It’s a perfect little tropical oasis! Adam, Arthur, and Christina will do anything to make your stay more comfortable!! Plus, being walking distance to all of the amazing bars and restaurants in lauderdale by the sea make the location even better! We have been coming here for 15 years and will never stay anywhere else!

Fantastic location, super clean rooms & amazing service. Arguably, the best value hotel in the area with a stellar location. In addition, the owners are beyond nice and accommodating! Definitely coming back.

This is our second time staying here and we love it! What’s not to love about a hotel near the beach with 2 pools, a hot tub, multiple grills and rooms with a kitchen to boot. Laundry area is great. Close to anything you may need. Every employee has been nothing but nice to us. If you’re ever in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea this is the place to stay!

This was my first ever trip to Florida, we stayed for four days and it was amazing! The food around was delicious, you can walk anywhere from here, the pool here is refreshing and the workers are very kind! We just came back to the same hotel after our Orlando trip and it’s so good to be back, I find it relaxing too, how it’s not so crowded and the weather is amazing. The hotel room has been very clean too, and I’ve been iguana spotting through the windows. My time here has been amazing and I’m happy I stayed in this hotel!

We've been coming here for several years. Just a great motel, very clean with friendly owners. Rates are excluding pool and common areas very well maintained! Great for families also. Just a short stroll to all kinds of great restaurants and the beach! We brought friends and they loved it!

My first time visiting Florida. Very nice family that runs this place, They made sure I were at home.The A/C works GREAT! The location was just off the beach making it a short walk to paradise. If I go back next year same place I would like to stay. Don't sleep on this place you will have a good night sleep with FUN things to do in your backyard.

It's n older hotel that has been renovated. It's not fancy, but it's clean, the other guests are always friendly, it's Clean, and it's walking distance to the downtown restaurants and bars. Publix is also within walking distance. We love this place

I stay at Shore Haven Resort a couple times a year when I come into town for business or to visit my elderly family members. Everyone always have always gone out of their way for their customers and they all are so nice. The rooms are comfortable and I feel safe there and can actually get a good night sleep. The property is close to the beach, bars, grocery stores and bus lines. I have stayed in both kitchenette rooms and regular hotel room. I have NEVER had any issues and will continue to come back. Thank you Arthur and others in front office for treating your customers like family and always being so nice! THEY WORK VERY HARD TO PROVIDE A CLEAN, SAFE, COMFORTABLE STAY AT A DECENT RATE ..

Have stayed here for almost 10 years now. Love it!!! We stay in a unit with a kitchen. Maid service every day!!!! Walking distance to well over 15 restaurants!!! 5 minutes to the beach!!!! Owners have always been awesome!!!! Clean both inside and out!!! Pool, hot tub what more could you ask for!!! Thanks

This is a great place. The manager is kind and helpful and the rooms are clean and well kept. DON'T expect a 5 star "resort" experience! It's not THAT kind of place. It's comfortable, affordable and close to all types of shops, restaurants and bars. Even the grocery store is within walking distance. Which is handy since the rooms have kitchenettes complete with pots, pans and utensils. The pool is relaxing with large palm trees giving shade on one side and room to sunbathe on the other. Look out for the cat at the office though...she'll let you pet her but is liable to bite you in return! 😁

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 6 nights! The front desk was very accommodating to all of our needs. They made sure we were comfortable and satisfied. This INN is located in a spectacular area, walking distance to numerous resturants as well as the beach! Extra chairs, umbrellas and tanning spray if needed. Publix and gas station also within walking distance! We honestly shouldn't have even gotten a car rental, walked everywhere. If you decide to book check out Aruba during happy hour, great seafood and drinks!

Always a pleasure staying at Shore Haven Resort Inn. Within a few blocks of the beach and a tremendous variety of restaurants. Highly recommend. Quiet and family friendly!!

Great location, clean rooms and amazing staff! Highly recommend for someone looking for a cozy and quiet neighborhood stay right on the beach. I will be booking this location again for the next time we visit! Everything is within walking distance- grocery store, restaurants, the beach . There's a great patio area around the pools with several patio tables with umbrellas, and also has a grill for a BBQ.

Very clean and accommodating. We forgot something in the room, but couldn't go back to get it. The other Arthur communicated through email and is shipping the item back to us in Ohio. Great service, great location, great people.

I stayed here with my mom for 8 days and we had the best time! It's an inn so don't expect the Hilton but the customer service was as if we rented the penthouse suite for a week. The owners are unbelievably great, it's obviously a family business and we where so happy we could support them instead of a chain. It was raining when we flew in which was before check in time and they let us leave our bags and gave us an umbrella. They even allowed us to check in early. They have everything you need we went fishing and caught a fish and they had foil to BBQ it lol its the little things you forget when you are on vacation. The bbq is awesome you can control the flame so it was like using a stove. The pools are clean and the jacuzzi was so fun after a long day out. We didn't have to rent chairs or umbrellas they have everything and they let you use it. They also have floaties, kids toys, sand toys etc. you basically don't need anything. The location is also right next to the pier for fort lauderdale by the sea next to a bunch of restaurants, a grocery store, two beach walk ups and massage places. It was great thank you so much guys you made our trip.

Been staying here for the past 3 days in room 135 - my experience has been super positive. Location is great, rate is reasonable and consistent, and the owners/management are very accommodating and all of them have been lovely in our interactions so far. Room looks nice, modern, tidy -- love having a full kitchen as well and full refrigerator. No complaints, this is one of the best if not the best lodging experience I've ever had. Would def. recommend to anyone

If you are looking for a place close to the beach, restaurants and shops this is a great spot. Our room was clean and tidy. The website is as they advertise. All the other guests were very friendly. This family run inn was perfect for a mom/daughter looking for beach/pool time.
