National Car Rental

We had such a great experience here today. We rent from this location often but today we were assisted by Herman and it made all the difference! Thank you Herman for making our daughter's day by helping us find her favorite car!

Picked up a large SUV in Fort Lauderdale Hollywood international airport. As an emerald member, I skipped the counter and went straight out to pick up my vehicle. The vehicle was a Ford expedition. It was very clean inside and out. The whole process took about five minutes, so very quick. As far as price National is in line with other large rental companies.
Please don’t get tricked into the cheaper rental companies as they will leave you standing in line for hours waiting on your vehicle and then give you something you didn’t reserve. Pay the extra money and go with National. You won’t regret it.

We will only use National Car Rental. The cars are excellent. We recently had a flat tire and National dealt with it so quickly and efficiently. The were pleasant and helpful and their first question was are we safe. I can't say enough about the service and the quality of the vehicles. Pick up and drop off is very easy. They have great locations. If you need to make modifications the service reps on the phone are very helpful. We will be National Car rental clients for life.

Fort Lauderdale International Airport to rental shuttle was easy, but was quite a walk to shuttle from airport terminal. Shuttle dropped us off right at the door to the rental agencies. Vehicle was ready when we arrived. A little more guidance from the employee of how to use the car and get to the turnpike would have been nice. Return of vehicle in Key West was easy, but very little communication from the employee there.

My company just switched our corporate account from a competitor to National.... GREAT SWITCH.... I was so impressed. Your people seem to really care! Clean car. Great selection. When I returned the car to FLL airport I was greeted by Randall. My gosh... great guy... was so genuine and made sure all was good with my trip and the car..... I didn't get that from our old company.... excited to be part of the National group !!!

National is the best. The app works great for booking and keeping you up to date on reservations. And the ability to choose your own car from the row available is perfect for meeting your trip needs.

Great customer service. My flight landed Unexpectedly added a different airport i wad able to easily Make a last-minute modification to my pick up location on the app And within minutes, could pick up a car at the new location hassle free. Later i realized I didn’t put in the correct drop off location so i Called customer service for assistance and They were super helpful and nice made a really stressful situation completely stress free and fixed my rental.

Excellent service. Both online and on phone. Had to make a few changes on this one way trip and it worked very well. Pick up and drop offs were very efficient. I was allowed to just walk in and pick up any vehicle I wanted to. Drop off was also just seconds. Very impressed with the service.

Easiest car rental I’ve ever experienced. They didn’t have the car class we reserved so we got an upgrade. Everyone we spoke to was friendly and helpful! Won’t use anyone except National from now on.

I always have an exceptional experience with National. Customer service is on point and the selection of cars is extensive. This past rental was from Fort Lauderdale airport. The associate who assisted me was Winston. His positive demeanor was infectious. Kudos to Winston and the rest of the team there!

Rented a car with them at Fort Lauderdale airport. All the process was easy as promised. No hustle. No unexpected charges. Also I had to shorten my rent period and returned them the car much earlier. They charged me only for actual renting days. I would choose National Car next time.

I had a great experience with the National team at Palm Beach airport (PBIA). I had made a mistake in the app and it could have cost me an extra day. But when I returned the car, I explained it to Alex, the team member who greeted me. He was incredibly nice and helpful - and resolved the issue. What a wonderful customer experience from Alex and that's why I prefer National, as their staff is truly the best!

I use National a bit and have had excellent experiences. There is no wait. I chose any car from the aisle and when I return it there is no wait. I get an email receipt a few minutes later. The cars are uniformly clean and in very good condition. I strongly recommend National Car Rental.

Drove Jeep with 8K mikes in Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Landed and walked directly to car of my choice. Easy and great customer service! Check out and check in associates were polite and helpful.

Had an incredible experience with National. Had made a reservation with another rental car company and the check in experience was so bad that we decided to walk down to the National counter. Within 15 minutes, Christina had us ready to go and out the door. When we returned the car to the Ft Lauderdale airport, Dakota was there and very friendly and checked us out in about two minutes with outstanding customer service

what a great experience with National Car Rental at Ft. Lauderdale airport. The Emerald member aisle where you pick your own car was super helpful. I had a full knee brace and was able to pick a car that I could easily get in and out of. Also, we were able to pick the same brand of car that we drive at home so didn't struggle with the location and function of the controls (windshield wipers, lights, door locks, etc.). Super cool service and so friendly!

The Fort Lauderdale team along with the roadside team were great. We rented a car for a long weekend, after day 1 we found a screw in the tire. They helped schedule a car switch at the nearest airport and kept us on track with our vacation. Amazing service and will always rent from National going forward

I will only use National Car Rental service. The Emerald Club makes the experience quick and easy. The staff are friendly and the cars are always super clean. Special kudos to Sam at PHX, she was so sweet and was really helpful when we dropped our car off.

Everything about National is AWESOME. From the booking online to desk bypass and drop off. It is seamless and there's never a problem. It should be highlighted that these amenities are paramount while flying for hours upon ends and with children in tow. Keep it up #National !

I arrived at the FLL airport on a Monday afternoon, retrieved my bag from the airline luggage carousel, and proceeded to the ticket counter for National Car Rental. Having the privilege of being an Emerald Club member, I was able to continue directly to the parking garage to select and inspect an appropriately-sized vehicle. Everything was perfect. The vehicle was clean, fully-fueled, and presented not visual defects. My only confession is that I left sand in the hatchback compartment after walking on the beach one afternoon. I highly recommend National Car Rental at the FLL airport.
