Long Island Cafe

We had breakfast here today between 8:30am-9:30am. The home fries were delicious and savory. I had scrambled eggs, English muffin, home fries, and French toast. My husband had a burger with an over medium fried egg, no tomatoes and a side of home fries. He also had coffee with about 3 refills. I had raspberry tea. We both had water.
Monica took care of us and did so in an excellent manner.
I definitely recommend this place to anyone who either lives or is visiting the Sunrise area.

I have been coming to Long Island Cafe for a long time now and it is absolutely one of the best cafes around. The friendly staff, who remember you and your drink order, the food and the prices are hard to beat. The breakfast potatoes are my favorite, but the omelettes and pancakes are divine too. PS have the breakfast tacos whenever they are available.

Nice little spot for breakfast. Food was amazing. Large portion I could not finish it. Very flavourful and mmm mmm good. The long island philly omelet was delishious!!!

Great for breakfast or brunch. The Spanish egg omelet I had was delicious and plentiful. My son had the breakfast tacos: delicious & crunchy. The service was very good and friendly. Prices are very reasonable and portions huge. Will come back again.

Reasonable breakfast prices. Plenty of options and expect delays since the food is freshly made to order. A hidden gem and the staff are helpful. A clean environment but limited seating up to 50 people. I will return if I am near the area.

My sister got in to a car accident near this place, we stop to grab something to eat quick with all the stress caused by the accident. The lady was so warm and nice. Food was good and very attentive! Thank you ladies (they were two) for making an awful day a positive one! Thank you!

Ample parking and always have daily specials. Best breakfast I have eaten in the sunrise area. The omelet was stuffed full of ham, peppers, and cheese.. just like I ordered. It was huge..and excellent. My wife had the blueberry pancakes . They were 12 inches or better. Light and tasted great with the fresh blueberries. This place has become my favorite for breakfast.. staff treats you like family. Fair prices and quality in all items tried.

Today it is the 2nd time visiting this place. I used to live in NJ and when you move its so hard to find a place where you can go and enjoy your meal. Well, I'm so happy with this place and after my experience today, I highly recommend you to come and enjoy flavorful, delightful, delicious food. Today we decided to get Greek and Spanish omelet. After the first bite was tremendously tasty, omg I didn't want my meal to be gone....prices are very reasonable, it is served for the owner who's a very kind and nice person, very polite, her name is Carol.

This was a great find. Everyone was so friendly, it’s diner style with consistent refills of your coffee cup and friendly faces. The price for food was perfect and the quality was excellent.

This place was one heck of a find. The food was spot on and the service is even better. If you leave here hungry, it is definitely your own fault. The prices were more than fair for what you get as well. Your loss, if you don't stop in and give them a try.

Since new owner took over the food portions are big and the food is flavorful. I would recommend any omelette the y have tbh.

First of all if you have a big family to feed breakfast this is your place! Prices are great, but without sacrificing the food quality. Very clean! Bathrooms are also clean, and that’s something I always look for.

The food is absolutely amazing, and the service is even better. One of the best breakfast and lunch places in South Florida.

Great place for a quick bite or a leasurly meal. We stopped for breakfast one morning on a visit to the area, came back two more times for breakfast again before we left, it was that good.

This is my favorite breakfest spot. I have eaten at every diner in the local area. They have by far the best home fries and prices. So affordable, the waitress and owner are very kind. The food, service, and atmosphere are all wonderful.

My favorite place for breakfast! Best coffee great service! Food is always perfect, prices are great, what more can I ask for? 2 eggs bacon home fries and a bagel with cream cheese for less than $8….Didn’t think to take a picture before I started but take my word for it, the food is great!!!!

Quiet cafe. Great food breakfast, brunch and lunch. Very clean. Wonderful staff- Gina made our experience delightful.
I had burger n fries with lettuce tomatoe. My mom and husband had eggs/toast, bacon, sausage, grits. Family friends had chicken breaded with gravy fries and her son had the Rueben also with fries. The cook is excellent and got all our orders right.
Cant wait to go back and try other dishes.
