Proctor Landing Park

I recently visited Proctor Landing Park with my family and had a fantastic experience. We brought our kayaks along, and the park provided excellent facilities for launching and exploring the water. The $10 fee was reasonable, considering the amenities and services offered. One thing to note is that they only accept credit card payments, so make sure to bring one along. Overall, I highly recommend Proctor Landing Park for a fun-filled day out with family and friends.

This is my favorite day-hang park! There are spots all along the lake with picnic tables, grills, and fantastic hammock trees! Swim at the sand beach or play volleyball or just enjoy the beauty of the lake. There are plenty of places to walk around or sit and read, draw, etc. Pack and picnic and get there early!

Proctor Landing is a beautiful park with a beach and marked swimming area. There are picnic tables scattered around, with trails leading to them so you don't have to tramp through the woods to get to them (though that is still an option). Each picnic area has its own grill, and the tables are on concrete pads.
There are also a couple of large shelters with multiple grills and plenty of tables for a family gathering.
It does cost a little more than the average State park ($10 vs. $5) but the beach and facilities are worth it.

We had so much fun! Our families all went out and had a great time 😃 perfect for renting jet skis, not a bad price for it so we recommend it if you wanna give it a shot. It was also fun seeing the boats going by back and forth.

I had never been here before & was mad at myself for not knowing this gem was so close to home. We went for a camping trip and HAD A BLAST!!! My kids were bummed when we left. There's a beach, multiple pavilions for cooking with the family, a spot for fishing, bathrooms, lots of parking and plenty of space for the kids to run around and ride their bikes. What more could you ask for? If you love being outdoors with your fam, pack a lunch and go hang out here for an afternoon. It's dog friendly too! You won't regret it!

For it being. Sunday it wasn't to packed. Took my 2 year old grandson swimming. The water was nice and the sand was clean. The people there were also nice. And we ended the afternoon with a slushy from the Kona Ice truck parked by the water!!!! He loved it. We will definately be going there again...

This is a beautiful Lake to take your family for a day in the sun. A inexpensive day vacation not far from home. Areas for picnicking and Sandy areas for laying out or sitting or playing in and near the water. Grills and picnic tables everywhere.Just a awesome place to go if you love sun,sand, and making memories.

I love to take my wife to the nice beach there while I fish from the pier. It also a nice place to picnic. I think that there's an admission fee of $3 - 5 but it's worth it. Today, the park was 6 ft under water.

It is great! When we pulled in, there was a nice older couple that sat in the booth up front where you pay admission ($5) and well they just were very friendly and helpful. You could tell they were happy to be there. But I digress, it is a lovely area to picnic, swim and just have a lazy day with friends and family. What's more is just how clean it is! That really makes a big difference. It is a bit crowded on the weekends but can you blame them?? ⛱🚣🏊🌈

Amazing beach for swimming. It had grills, picnic tables, ice cream cart and bathrooms. $10 park entry fee per vehicle. Very clean and family friendly.

Was visiting family, my Brother rented a pontoon for a few hours and we had a blast. Beautiful area and sweet memories to last forever!

Clean, quite, family friendly beach on the lake. $5.00 entry fee. Note there is no place to rinse the sand off your feet when your leaving.

It was a pretty good trip if you want a spot close to the lake get there early to be able to claim a spot and I would make sure you bring a trash bag to keep your trash in

Clean beach, not too overcrowded. It has 2 beach volleyball courts and several picnic areas.
