North Pleasant Grove Baptist Church

Many memories of this Christian Church flood my mind and heart. I have a well worn Bible given to me on my eighth birthday, September 14, 1948, by my Beloved Grandma Joseph Ann Elizabeth (Malphurs) Holder. This she did in recognition of my Profession of Faith in Christ Jesus as my eternal Lord and Savior. . .
This was followed by my Baptism lead by Brother Edwards, and shared with another young Believer, Patsy Blackwelder, in the dark waters of the Santa Fe River, below the Worthington Springs bridge.
Sunday School teachers, Training Union leaders along with church leaders and members continued my growth and Eternal Security. I believe North Pleasant Grove has not been lured into the world's recent watering down of the Gospel. I would love to see this lovely country church grow with Believers both locals and those smart enough to leave city life behind. (If they find anyone willing to part with their land.)

I have memory of where I was seated in the old (original) church building when, as a shy child under strong conviction of the Holy Spirit, I slipped out of my (theater style) seat, went forward to make this decision public. From that moment on, lessons given at NPGBC played a part of many of the better decisions I have made throughout my life.
Sunday School teachers, Training Union leaders such memories and stories I hold dear. I'm sorry for the run on ramblings of an old woman. It is difficult to hold these memories in check. To this end, if you come under conviction of the Holy Spirit I trust there are still leaders and members who would love to teach you in the same Beliefs that hold true even in this torn up world.
