Boling Park

I love the trails that start at this park. Perfect place to go running or walking. I've never seen the park empty. The field is great for kicking a ball around or playing tag. There is no playground or restrooms, just two portable units.

It's a great place to hike, if you don't know better, you're in the mountains!

Beautiful! A hidden gem....please be aware you have options to excercise on a track. If you choose to hike there is a clear sign that explains hiking after 10 am since there is an active hunting season at the moment in the area! For safety reasons it is recommended to wear bright colored clothes 🥰

Went on a hike with cub scouts. Even though it was rainy, muddy, and slippery the views were beautiful and I enjoyed the hike.

We had a great timehiking the trails. I missed the description of the different paths that are color coded so I need to look into that. No dogs allowed in that area unfortunately, but I can appreciate it still. Beautiful river views and semi accessible areas to the river from the trails.

Very enjoyable, quiet, and shaded trails. Length is up to 4 miles depending on the path and isnt too hilly. A lot of roots and rocks and is sometimes very narrow.

This park does not allow dogs. I see people bringing them on the trail, but there are signs that clearly say no dogs allowed and you will be fined if caught.

Boling Park and Cherokee County Indian Festival& Mother's Day Powwow was incredible. The park is fantastic - clean, pretty, and aesthetically pleasing. The festival was educational, rich in culture, and had many shops with authentic Native American products. Don't miss John Red Deer and his all purpose salve - that stuff is good for almost every ailment!

There's a nice wooded spot next to the stream with picnic tables--nice for a small and socially distanced family gathering.

It's a good place for a good walk, jog, or run. The gravel track is one mile. The Etowah River is along side the track. At times you will see wild life just roaming around. Just watch from a distance. You can look at the river in a couple of spots. Don't get close to the edge. Also there is another trail if you want a nature hike. Parking is abundant except during late afternoon and early evening. Its because of track and little league football practices. That's when parking will become scarce at times. Come around morning to mid afternoon.

Can't wait for the Mother's Day Pow Wow to get here. Great times will be had. I've always enjoyed the Chieftains trail and the Etowah river park. Too bad it's restrictive to dogs. My dog would love to join me on the trails

Nice trail. Beautiful location.

One of my absolutely favorite parks in all of Canton. It isn't too big nor too small but yet a decent and simple park. Perfect for a midday run or to take the family on a picnic. Near the back of the park is a set of trails along the Etowah river. On a hot day the trails are perfect due to the shade of the trees and flowing water of the river.

Get passed all those darn speed bumps but then you have two great options in one! A hike or a gravel walking path! It's great!

Pro tip: don't go too late.. when school gets out you will have all the Cherokee high students honking like mad men in the line as you try to get out. Lots of traffic starting at 3:30ish...

There is a beautiful, secret trail at the back, nice walk on the river. There are many out jutting rocks you can sit on, that can give you are closer look at the clear water. There is also a really cool bridge, that the Boy Scouts built. The trees in the second field, are perfect for hanging a hammock. :D

Nice park. Free. Clean port-a-pots. Plenty of parking. Best to avoid periods when school is starting or getting out. Open fields or miles of wooded trails fairly well marked. Dogs not allowed.

Took a few cub scouts on a 3 mile hike on one of the many trails. It was beautiful. I really want to go again with my dog.
