Walgreens Pharmacy

Great experience even though the pharmacy (as with all front line workers) was slammed. Technicians were all polite and pharmacist was super - polite, considerate and even apologised for my short wait even though he was aware I knew how busy he was with prescriptions- recommend this pharmacy for all vaccines!

Awesome friendly service at the pharmacy and throughout the store. It is clean, light, and airy. Bathroom was clean and tidy.

I've never had a problem with them before. Always so nice and very sweet. However, thanks to the pharmacy tech today, I'm giving 3 stars instead of 5 for straight up lying to me about not havin my medication. I ordered a vaccination mid of last week. The pharmacist himself told me Monday it would be there. I waited until Tues to get it because of my school schedule and I was due for it that day. I called there before leaving to pick it up and the girl who answered the phone instantly told me .2 seconds after askin if it was there that they didnt have it. Not even checkin for me to be sure. It was pointless askin when it was gonna be there cause she was obviously no help and wasn't gonna take my problem seriously. So I left and went to talk to the pharmacist in person and he said told me it was in fact there. I honestly appreciate his dedication to good customer service.
I worked as a pharmacy tech for 3 and half yrs until recently and I know the pharmacy goes for the most part cause some are kind of different. It's not gonna get past me if someone shows they dont genuinely care about their customers. You can thank your tech for them 3 stars.

This is a review of their COVID-19 testing only: It worked but it was poorly organized. The website said to bring the email confirmation, ID and insurance card. None of these were asked for. The testing kit had to be laborously prepared, it seem that such things should be mostly ready when you know you have people coming in for testing. Instructions were poor, a laminated card with instructions (in cartoon form) would have been exceeding helpful. Overall, took far too much time for what should have been a simple task.

I will no longer use this pharmacy. They never have the prescriptions you need or all of them, and many are common medicines. I have had two instances where I have had to wait two days before a prescription was filled. Once, we picked up a prescription and for home only to you receive a call from the pharmacy that we had another prescription to pick up. We return to the pharmacy to get a second prescription and two days later receive a call to pick up a third prescription. After we had been without the medicine for three days, we decided it obviously wasn’t needed. Now, the pharmacy has put an authorization on that medicine if it is prescribed in the future for my daughter because they can’t manage to get things filled in a timely manner and we opted to not pick it up. Even after the fist bad experience we decided to give them a second chance, and was told the medicines would be ready in 45 minutes, we returned an hour later and were told 20 more minutes. Then my husband goes back a third time to pick up the medicines only to find out they didn’t have them all filled, a common antibiotic, and were told we could go to Athens (45 minutes away)-NOT! Three days after the prescription, I call back to see if it is ready and get a sassy pants who tells me they have been busy and haven’t had time to check all the boxes off the truck. I’m so sorry I inconvenienced you from doing your job, I’ve been waiting 3 days!! Horrible

Doctor called my prescriptions in at 8:30 in the morning Walgreens did not have them ready until 6:00 that evening nine and a half hours to fill three prescriptions it's ridiculous
