Sally's Famous Red Shrimp and Grits were the absolute best! Followed by some Gator Tail ... yes, please!
I will most definitely be a new frequent customer. This is a great place to go to, any day of the week.
Update 12/20/23: The Grilled Platter is fantastic! Blackened Scallops and Mahi Mahi with Bacon Brussel Sprouts...man, I love this place!

So after 3, 1.5 hour one way trips I think this place is worth a review. The portion’s and price’s are VERY reasonable. But that’s not the reason the wife and I make the 1.5 hour trek down out of the mountains. The food is SO good, the owners definitely got it right with this place. And should I mention the atmosphere.? Yeah it’s pretty awesome too. So if we can drive 3 hours round trip for supper, what’s stopping you from trying it? NOTHING do yourself a favor and give them a try you won’t regret it.

Just in for the Ipswich clams. This made my weekend. They were a taste of New England and sorely missed! Our server was delightful. Thanks for making the effort.

My family and I were looking for somewhere to meet after my father's burial at the Georgia National Cemetery.

I emailed the restaurant 2 weeks prior, and the owners were more than helpful. They were very patient with me as I must have emailed several times verifying info.

When we showed up, they had space prepared for us. I was told there wasn't a "private room" in our email correspondence, but there was a front area that was perfect. There is plenty of room to move around. Roger greeted us and was an absolute delight, even sharing a magic trick near the end of our gathering ( perfect timing and not at all imposing). We were there for a couple of hours, sharing the joys of my dad's life, and he would have enjoyed the casual atmosphere!

Our waitress Jodie was also super kind, helpful, and never appeared to be stressed by the number of guests at our table. She never rushed us and was super attentive and anticipated our needs without hounding or pressing.

We will be coming back in June when my father's headstone is placed.

We were in the mood for some great fried shrimp and checked out the reviews of local restaurants. The Salty Mule came highly recommended and didn’t disappoint. Everything was perfect and our server was a great guide to the menu. We will definitely be back.

This is an awesome place to go. The food and atmosphere are great! The Waitress I had was super nice and when we talked to the manager to tell her that we found out that our waitress was the manager’s daughter. Both are great! We will definitely be back!

We tried the Salty Mule when they first open and didn't have very nice things to say about it. Now several years later we've tried it again and boy what a difference! This is one of our favorites now! On a Friday night we got in quickly, had great service, and our food came out quickly and hot. My husband especially liked how large the oysters were.

First time eating here and absolutely loved the food. Great quality. I was not expecting so much food for the price. Excellent service. The hush puppies were delicious! My family and I drove an hour to eat here and was not disappointed.

Great seafood place. Oyster nights start at 4:00 PM on Thursdays and Sundays ... $1 each for "On The Half Shell", Calamari appetizer pairs well. They also offer an outstanding "Smash Burger" with one side!

We visited Canton for a wedding last weekend and stumbled across the Salty Mule. Great crowd and energy, as well as a special on oysters motivated us to give it a try. The oysters were the freshest and best I've ever had and the Buffalo Shrimp were OUTSTANDING. On top of the food and atmosphere, the owners were incredible. Shannon and Bubba hung out with us chatting until after the restaurant closed and have become our new friends in Canton. GREAT PEOPLE!!! We will most definitely be back, but our advice is that if your travels take you through this part of Georgia, or anywhere even close to Canton, this restaurant is worth the drive. Casual, reasonable prices, and exceptional food served by amazing humans. Not sure what else you. can ask for in a restaurant. Thank you Shannon/Bubba for a super fun night.

I honestly had no intention on leaving a review unless I thought this place was good. I came here with a friend, both of us had never eaten here, and we both really enjoyed it. I found the restaurant very clean from what I saw. I don’t drink much but decided to try one. It tasted great and packed a punch for me. I also thought my appetizer and entree were well prepared. The dessert I tried was also very good. I would eat here again and try other dishes.

First time in and what a fun place. I don’t know who gave this a “greasy fish” review but everything we had was great. Fresh flavors (blueberry marg, pineapple salsa, strawberry slaw) and their clam chowder was really good. Definitely glad we stopped in and can’t wait to come back.

The atmosphere here is beach trendy and cool. So many (different than usual fare) items on the menu and the drinks were fantastic.

This place is a must when you're in Canton.

We were greeted by Roger - who claims he is the Court Jester and will perform a cool magic trick with salt and tell corny jokes that will bring a smile to your face. I think he must be an owner. He is adorable as my wife puts it. The ambiance is out of a Jimmy Buffet concert. A definite beachy feel. Clean tables and bathrooms and lots of excellent seating! Brittany our server was knowledgeable and so helpful in making our drink and dinner selections! And she was a terrific server! My wife got the salmon with asparagus and spinach and it was superb! I got the mix and match, scallops and flounder blackened with awesome tasting brussel sprouts and excellent sweet potato fries! We started with a pound of red shrimp! The red shrimp is absolutely incredible! We also had a Tennessee peach mule and a lemon mule. Both delicious! For desert a no flour chocolate cake just off the chain amazingly delicious! This was a fantastic experience! Thank you to Brittany for the assistance in making outstanding dinner choices and Roger for his entertainment! This is a Canton gem! We can't wait to go back.

Been here twice, really enjoyed everything. Well worth the drive for a seafood fix.

The food exceeded my high expectations after reading many of the great reviews! For an appetizer we had the Encanta Mussels (a special for the evening) and the sauce was one of the very best we’ve ever had! The Fettuccine Alfredo with Red Shrimp was perfection and the crab cakes w/grilled asparagus simply the best! Compliments to the chef!! No room for dessert , but maybe next time. Highly recommend….and we will definitely be returning soon!

Stopped in here for lunch. It did not disappoint. Food was delicious and the prices aligned with the portions and quality of food. Our server was helpful and very pleasant. I’ll be back sometime in the near future.

Very professional, friendly, and courteous... Customer Service A+.. I'm sorry I didn't get the hostess name, but she was friendly and courteous..Definitely be back!!!
