The Pink Orchid

Being out-of-state, I was looking for a local florist to send flowers to my Aunt's funeral and I found The Pink Orchid online. Their website made it super easy to order flowers for any occasion and they had a nice selection of baskets to choose from. I ordered the "Sweet Tranquility Basket" and it was delivered on time with the exact message that I had written. In addition, the arrangement was full of gorgeous flowers, even better than the picture on their website. Pro-tip: always include the funeral home name or the church, their address, phone number, and the name of the deceased. And ask to have your flowers delivered at least 30 minutes prior to the service. I highly recommend The Pink Orchid and would definitely use them again for any occasion!

A lovely shop with an amazing selection of flowers. I was looking to purchase roses same day for a special occasion and happened to come across The Pink Orchid after stopping at another shop. I was welcomed with kindness and thorough assistance, eventually deciding on 2 dozen of yellow roses. Everything is bloomed so beautifully and FRESH in the shop. I will definitely be back and recommend this shop for any floral needs!

I need an arrangement last minute and in Maryland. Every online florist wanted extra fees which doubled the arrangement. I found the Pink Orchid and placed an online order via their website. The next morning I called to verify they could meet the delivery and they did! While it was a challenge to find my daughter they did and before noon the next day! Thank you for the excellent service and beautiful arrangement!

The Pink Orchard did an amazing job with the flower arrangement for my mother's funeral. They even contacted me beforehand to inform me that the arrangement I had chosen may not be the best fit for my needs and offered to make changes. They exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them. Their customer service was excellent!

Two of my colleagues decides to surprise me by gifting me flowers. I don't know how they found The Pink Orchid but they could not have made a better choice. My bouquet was perfection! I was not at home for the delivery but they where able to leave them in a safe place. I will definitely look to use The Pink Orchid for my own floral needs.

Customer service was great, roses were beautiful. They lasted 7 days. They were ready on time.

I ordered some flowers from The Pink Orchid for a friend who recently became a Mom and gave birth to a baby boy. She loves purple, so I looked for the most purple arrangement on the site. My friend loved them! Two of the orchids on the front were replaced with a different pair without notice, but they actually look way better than what was on the site. Just know that you may not get a notification for substitutions. Only thing I would note for improvement is having delivery staff place them on the doorstep in a way where it's not directly in front of the door so that people coming out of the house accidentally swing the door open and destroy it. I gave my friends a heads-up it was on the porch, so she carefully opened the door. Thank you Pink Orchid! Will be ordering again from them in the future - highly recommended.

Highly recommended—I’ve purchased flowers from The Pink Orchid for two funerals in recent months and they did an excellent job. The floral arrangements were beautiful and fresh both times and the service, from taking my order to delivery, was so kind and accommodating.

We have used The Pink Orchid for both our daughters' weddings, for funerals and other events, most recently this past weekend. The floral arrangements are always amazing. Carmina is a true artist.

My experience with The Pink Orchid was absolutely wonderful! We purchased a bridal bouquet, matron of honor bouquet, 4 boutonnières, and wedding arbor decorations without any issues. Furthermore, the pricing was very reasonable and the customer service was warm. I told Carmina the colors that I wanted, and she chose beautiful flowers without much effort on my part. The shop is small, quaint, and smells amazing!

I ordered an arrangement for my Grandmother's birthday and it was absolutely gorgeous. The lady who I worked with was so sweet and made sure we got exactly what we asked for. I was told that the delivery person was also very friendly. I would highly recommend this florist and will be getting all my arrangements from here from now on. EXCELLENT!!!!!!! Yearly, I order my wife's birthday flowers only from The Pink Orchid. As usual the flowers were top notched. You can see, smell, and feel the personal love put into the arrangement. Her flowers arrangements are next level and second to none. I would HIGHLY recommend her services for personal or business.

I have been using the Pink Orchid for the last two years to send flowers to my Mom on Mother's day. They are the best and far superior to other Florists in Bowie Maryland. How do I know? Being a human, I'm naturally a procrastinator and waited until the day before Mother's day to get anything done. When I Googled and called "Bowie Florists" the day before mother's day, the lady just picked up and said "hello..." and rudely informed me that they were closed until Monday..... 1) why would you waste your time picking up your BUSINESS phone if you are closed, and 2) why a Florist would be closed THROUGH mother's day, is beyond my comprehension as a business owner myself. THE PINK ORCHID, on the other hand, ALWAYS picks up on holidays like this and delivers like Swiss clockwork. My mom is always very happy with her arrangements. I HIGHLY recommend their services to anyone looking for a dependable flower service. If Rockstar was a rating above Excellent, I would have gladly selected that instead. Thank you Pink Orchid!

I've been using Pink Orchid over the past 7 years. I must admit, they never disappoint no matter the event (VDay, Graduation, Anniversary, Just Because). They have always come through for me and after meeting the Owner and her son a year or two ago, I vowed this will continue to be the only place I'll do business with. I would love to keep them to myself as my personal florist lol Overall, I highly recommend them for anyone who want beautiful lasting flowers that anyone loved one will love. Trust! I know!

The owner and staff have always been pleasant, helpful and professional when I visited the shop pre COVID 19. Picked up roses and plants. Just what I wanted and the wife was elated. They even made a delivery of flowers to a funeral home that was technically out of their delivery area for once.

Pink Orchard is amazing !

Today I called from Frederick, MD, to ask if Pink Orchids could put together a poinsettia plant for Christmas for my friend’s father at Heartfields Retirement Community in Bowie so that he would have something pretty to look at for the holidays.

Carmina took my call and described a lovely poinsettia in a Christmas basket and assured me that she/ they would be able to get it there within an hour and that she would personally make sure it was beautiful and festive.

Later today my friend called me and said that the poinsettia had arrived and that he had decided to “dress up” and rearrange his father’s room, putting the poinsettia in a focal point for his dad. He had also brought in his father’s Christmas cassettes from home so he could hear all his old favorite singers and song arrangements.

And it all started because Carmina at Pink Orchids was so kind and attentive! Thank you!

The Pink Orchard is beyond superlatives! When Carmina says she will make sure everything is done beautifully and perfectly, don't hesitate to believe her. She performs every detail to perfection with such eye-appealing arrangements. Great design intuition and advice if you need it. My son and new daughter's wedding celebration came off so sweet and lovely. The Pink Orchard played a big part in that!

Carmena takes pride and great care in her beautiful floral creations! She is a top notch florist and can get a sense of what someone wants even if they can’t explain it themselves.
I would frequent the Pink Orchid a lot with my mother in the days before Alzheimer’s disease ravaged her brain because flowers always made my mother happy. My mother passed away this May from Alzheimer’s disease. It was during COVID restrictions and ordering delays. My mother had left specific instructions that she wanted a nosegay with gardenias and orchids to hold in her hands. Some how, some way, Carmena made it happen! She worked so hard to get mom what she wanted and I am so thankful.

Fast forward to Sept. 17th. Mom would have been 81 years old and my neighbor got me the most beautiful tropical arrangement from The Pink Orchid. Magnificent display!!

We needed flowers for our mothers funeral.
The shop was very helpful and made sure they understood what we desired in the arrangement.
Flowers arrived on time and exceeded our expectations, the arrangement was perfect in every way.
