Annie's Kitchen Country Restaurant

There was a long wait and we made it about 30 minutes and I when we got in there me order my food and I ordered some pancakes the blueberry pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes were freaking awesome. Their food was way better than Denny's and IHOP's. Dad the special bread or toast whatever they call it it's a really amazing very tasty. I definitely recommend this place to everybody if you want to eat some good food you got to wait in line.

Great local small restaurant/ breakfast spot. Down home charm, not fancy. Variety of breakfast foods we enjoyed were all very good! Prices were very reasonable. If you're staying at Deep Creek and want a local option for breakfast this is a great choice!

The best food around! Food is SO good and is cooked by nice people. We come all the time and we love it every time! The waitresses are always nice and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. There are also a lot of choices! If you are in need of a great country-cooked breakfast or lunch, this is the place to go!

Excellent, down-home cooking satisfies the palate. Very friendly wait staff, fast and good service. Stopped in for breakfast and were very pleased. If you are a sweets person - this place has a ton of pies, cakes, cookies and treats to please!

Stopped here for breakfast while spending a weekend sightseeing around the area; great breakfast for a fantastic price! The homemade toast is phenomenal, and they have many homemade baked goods available to purchase to take home with you as well. This will be my new go-to breakfast stop for weekends spent exploring the region!

this is your classic diner, amd they have a bunch of home made sweet treats. We had a side of scrapple that was the best I have had in years. The burger was classic, and the omlet was deliscious. Wouldnt compaire this to a fine dining 5 star, but for little place off the main road, this is everything you need!

Amazing spot!! You feel like you are right at home having an awesome home cooked meal. Everything is served to perfection and is wholesome and hearty!! Not to mention it is extremely hard to leAve without one of their 50 pastry dishes. Brownies, cakes, cookies, muffins, fresh bread. You name it, they’ve got it! Definitely will be our new go to spot!

Excellent down home cooking. The bread was homemade. The pancakes were huge. The chicken fried steak was incredible. The desert case was filled with all kinds of delectable treats. I highly recommend this stopping and having a bite to eat while you are driving through Accident Maryland.

Everytime we head to Oakland Md, we always have a stop planned for Anne's for breakfast. I love their handmade sausage and bacon. What we really love is the homemade bread, toasted and a side of strawberry preserves. They have a large selection of baked goods here you need to check out. Great service, plenty of flowing coffee and friendly servers. It's a must for us every trip.

Amazing food! Ordered the chocolate chip pancakes which were delicious. It's a small place so the wait to sit down can get long. Definitely recommend checking out if you're in the area.

A must-visit after skiing at Wisp. Great old-timey diner that's been around forever. Waitresses seem to know half of the patrons by name. I love looking at all the home-made treats they sell. You won't regret ordering the pancakes. I loved all the local historical stuff they have hanging on the walls. You don't see places like this around anymore.

I had biscuits and gravy that were fantastic. The sweet tea was very good also. They must have been baking while we were there because there was that lovely bakery smell throughout the restaurant.

Great spot for breakfast; worth the short drive from Deep Creek Lake if you are staying there. Service was fast and courteous, and portions were generous. Wall decorations are full of local character, a nice change from cookie-cutter chain restaurants.

Great traditional cooking!!! Very friendly staff. Have a large variety of pies, bread puddings and cakes. And the most delicious strawberry jam ever!!! (Even better than my own)

Awesome food and atmosphere! First time here and it was a busy President’s Day and it was still a great experience! Awesome food, hot coffee and nice people! I can see myself being a regular when I’m at the lake house!

The fish sandwich was SUPER! DON'T ask for cheese on it, though. It is MUCH better without it. Don't know what I was thinking! The onion rings are good, and they have GREAT tripple-layer coconut cake!

Super friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, homemade bread to die for, seriously the best french toast I've ever had because of the bread. Very large portions, and the homemade strawberry jam was SO good!!

My family and I were visiting Deep Creek and discovered this gem. We ate every bit of food off our plates. Cat was an amazing host/server. If you want really good food—go to Annie’s.

Amazing food has an awesome mothers day buffet always has fresh baked goods. A must on any travelers list to stop for a bite. Don't let the prices scare you away its truly amazing food
