Mr Jimmy's White Tiger Martial Arts

This place taught me like magic. The classes are engaging and fun while still teaching you how to fight. Pumping in 5 years to this place was an absolute blast. The place is extremely clean, organized, and welcoming. It’s a great workout for if your looking to get in shape and learn how to fight. They also have the cardio kickboxing program where you get to build a second family and some muscles! I’d like to thank all of the instructors and assistant instructors for all the help I’ve been given. As well as a special thanks to Mrs. Marcia and Mr. Jimmy. This is an experience I will never forget.

Mr. Jimmy's White Tiger Martial Arts is not your typical martial arts school. It is a family atmosphere and the instructors take pride in teaching every student that walks through the door to the best of the the students ability. Mr. Jimmy teaches his students not only about martial arts but also about things that happen in the real world. He is dedicated to helping every student do their absolute best. My two children have trained at White Tiger for over 7 years in TKD and Hapkido, and it has been the best decision we have ever made. After watching my children earn their black belts, I myself am now a student. The school has several programs the run year round for all ages including Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, and Tai Chi. They also offer a fantastic after school program. The school also is very involved in giving back to the community. I cannot say enough great things about the school and the staff, as well as the students and families that make it so special! I highly recommend Mr. Jimmy's White Tiger Martial Arts for anyone who is looking for a great place to train!

Update 9/15/2020: I would like to add to my review. In March of 2020, when schools were shut down, Mr.Jimmy and staff worked very quickly to find a safe way to help parents and students by obtaining an emergency childcare license to provide care for those who needed it. They offered online classes 5 days per week to allow students to continue to train in their own homes via livestream. Upon reopening, the school has limited seating as well as offered smaller classes in order to continue social distancing . The facility is cleaned and sanitized several times per day, as well as the mats which are cleaned with Mat Attack. The school has now obtained a Childcare License and is offering daytime care including virtual learning. The health and safety of the families and students continues to be a number one priority at Mr.Jimmy’s White Tiger Martial Arts!

My 3 kids have been going for 4 months now. I even started doing it with them. My son had really bad social anxiety to the point he would have a panic attack every time we went somewhere. Mr jimmy made him comfortable and now he loves going. I'd recommend it to ANY ONE of Any age! Both Mr jimmy Ms marcia and all the black belts and instructor are awesome!! My daughter cries the 1st 2 Sparing classes and one of the boys stayed near her and makes her feel comfortable every class

This is the absolute best Martial Arts school in the area. The staff here genuinely care about the students. Mr Jimmy does is best to instill confidence in every student. During the COVID pandemic he did Facebook live videos to engage the students. He encouraged them every evening throughout the week with a new video. To make sure it was safe for the students to return to the dojo he established a protocol meeting the CDC guidelines and went above and beyond in cleaning the facilities. This school is 100% behind the community and is committed helping kids find confidence. My kids and I love training here and being apart of the White Tiger Family.

My children have been attending Mr. Jimmy’s for over 8 years. We have attended evening/weekend classes, after school programs, summer camps and now in supervised remote learning center. Throughout, everyone on the staff has shown a genuinely caring attitude. They also strike a great balance between reinforcing core values of respect and self discipline while keeping a friendly, fun atmosphere to keep younger kids engaged. All that in addition to the benefits of learning martial arts of course.

Not practicing martial arts myself I can’t speak to the technical quality, but that’s not the main reason White Tiger is so important to my family. My son and daughter have been in the after school program for 4 years and it’s been a great experience for them. All the instructors genuinely care about the students, understand the structure and limits kids need balanced with the caring love they need too. My family has been through some pretty rough times the last couple years, and I’ve always been able to count on Mr. Jimmy, Ms. Marcia, and all the instructors to have my kids’ best interest at heart.

This is not just a martial arts dojo, this establishment has taken their time to do anything possible for the community. For example, during this pandemic, staff took classes to receive emergency licenses for day care so essential personnel, like myself and husband, could go to work. Most all daycare centers had been shut down by order of the governor. The staff take time to do virtual learning with the children during the day, where as most centers will not.
Another example, collecting and donating toys for those children at Christmas that may not receive any gifts without their donations.
My child has been going to Mr. Jimmy’s for at least two years, she began going because her best friend was attending classes there. The two of them enjoy the playfulness all the instructors possess, but at the same time learn respect from all of them. They look up to the black belts that are not much older than them. I know she well both of them are learning so much more than just how to defend themselves. They are learning respect, control, team work, and so much more. Just one more thing, my girl and her bestie, they are treated like family, just like all the other kids walking through the doors.

You cannot and will not find a better martial arts school in this area. I’ve trained under the same owner my entire martial arts journey and have never thought about training anywhere else.

This school is not a “belt factory.” You will earn every belt achieved at this studio. However, like in life, sometimes you have to work through the hard times to achieve great things. This school and it’s owner gives every student every opportunity to succeed and reach their goals no matter what the goal is.

This studio is a family atmosphere. Many parents start training with their children and it becomes a way of life for many people. If you want your children to learn not only how to defend themselves, But more importantly the successful life values such as respect, honor, integrity, discipline, perseverance, etc. This the school for you. You will not find a More trustworthy and dedicated owner then Mr. Jimmy.

Mr. Jimmy’s White Tiger Martial Arts is one of the best things our family has in our lives. My son, Keegan started Tae Kwon Do at White Tiger at the age of 5. He is now 8 and recently earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He is currently working toward his black belt in Hapkido. Our family is at White Tiger 6 days a week. We have a true dedication and commitment and vice versa. I recently joined Mr. Jimmy ultimate kickboxing class. This fun, energy filled, calorie burning class has given me so much joy...especially during these stressful times. We punch, kick, laugh, sweat, try to do sit ups, and build friendships and community. I know Mr. Jimmy and his staff has my families back. If I have a problem, not even martial arts related... they will help! They support their students and families to the fullest and I cannot thank them enough for being apart of our lives!

Since my son has begun training with Mr. Jimmy and his staff, I have seen such a turn around in his behavior and his overall outlook on life. Before, he was so negative and didn't really have any self esteem from being picked on in school. Mr. Jimmy and his staff have taught him to have confidence in himself and he has learned more about respecting those around him. I highly recommend White Tiger Martial Arts!

My family has been part of Mr Jimmys School for the better part of 7 years. They are more than a karate school, they are family. If you want the best instruction for your kids with a family feel, MR Jimmy's is the place to be.

We can't say enough about Mr Jimmy and White Tiger Martial Arts. Mr Jimmy is a wonderful martial arts instructor as well as mentor and friend. His students adore him and respect him. There is a family atmosphere and his staff is just as wonderful!

Mr. Jimmy is an excellent instructor and truly shows how much he loves martial arts. Not only does he teach martial arts, but discipline, self respect confidence and reliance. I highly recommend Mr. Jimmy’s White Tiger Tae Kwon Do.

I can't speak highly enough about White Tiger Martial Arts! Mr. Jimmy teaches every student with the utmost respect, integrity, and encouragement, whatever their level! In this COVID world, White Tiger has to be the cleanest facility around! Mr. Jimmy truly deserves 10 stars!

I am writing in response to the comment made about Sean having a bad attitude and the pricing by someone who (obviously) never experienced White Tiger Martial Arts personally.
My children have been involved with this establishment and its family for over 3 years. I cannot describe a SINGLE time I have felt remotely CLOSE to being unhappy with their programs, personalities, or teachings.
These folks are legitimate, caring people. I have never heard a SINGLE negative thing about them, and they have treated me and my children as family.
As far as Sean goes, he is the LAST person I'd expect an "attitude" from. That guy would give you the shirt off his back.
Pricing? I haven't encountered a single program in this area that offers the guidance, support, and overall curriculum that White Tiger has to offer.

My daughter ... Who has ADHD and anxiety... has excelled with Mr. Jimmy and Ms. Marcia and staff. Martial arts has improved her self confidence, her attitude, and self discipline. They provide a structured environment that includes life lessons that allows children to thrive and excell not only at martial arts but also school and personal relationships.

All 3 of my boys go here. 1 participates in the after-school program, the other 2 take classes at night. All 3 have benefitted from the programs. I firmly believe Mr. Jimmy and staff are good people very knowledgeable in what there teaching and very friendly!

This is family. Caring for everyone that walks through their doors. Professional and wants everyone to succeed. This is not a franchise in it for the money, this is family by choice. My grandson loves it here and I am so glad we found White Tiger when we moved here.

Absolutely the best thing I did for my youngest son! He's learning so much, his behavior has improved enormously, and the entire staff are caring and warm. I would recommend this program to anyone.
