Oh Goodness Bakery

So cool! Gluten-free AND keto (friendly)!? I was already sold before my first bite. Everything is almond-flour based, so bear that in mind if you don't care for that texture (or have an allergy). The lemon cookie was a perfect coffee snack but the garlic biscuit was the winner. Incredibly flavorful and just the right size. Plus, it's located inside 33 & Elm Coffee House, a little coffee shop staffed by people with Industries of the Blind. So you get food that's good for you, while supporting a good cause.

Shayna, the owner of Oh Goodness Bakery, created a truly remarkable keto wedding cake for our special day. It meant the world to us to be able to provide a delicious cake option for my husband and his sister, who cannot consume sugar.

Shayna's quick and easy communication made the entire process a breeze. Pick up was simple, and the cake was carefully packaged, arriving in perfect condition.

The cake itself was a triumph! Beautifully crafted and bursting with flavor, it exceeded all expectations. We are grateful to Oh Goodness Bakery for making our wedding day even more special with their delicious, keto-friendly creation.

I’ve been here several times! I’m SOOO glad this business is in Greensboro!! I use to go to place in Winston, but they were expensive and the taste varies. Every single thing that I’ve tried at this bakery has been nothing short of delicious!!! One of my favorite things is the strawberry cupcake! What I enjoy is that you can order online via their website and then just go in an pick it up. Their online website shows what’s in stock and what’s not and the quantity. You can even order items and have custom cakes. I honestly love everything about it. Keto items aren’t cheap, from expensive. Compared to the place I was going, their prices are definitely more affordable!! Just to give a comparison, I paid $12-14 for ONE slice of cake. Here, I got 2 cookies, a muffin, a cupcake, and a brownie for the same price! I enjoy this place so much, I got a custom cake make for my birthday that’s coming up. At the time of this post, I haven’t tried it yet but I know it’s going to be good. If you want a custom cake, you can fill out the online form and then the owner will contact you via email. All my experience have been great. I will continue to come here, especially when I have a craving for sweets! All items are under 5 net carbs! They are located downtown Greensboro on the corner. Their website lists the complete nutritional facts with ingredients for each option. This is amazing! Kudos to the owner! Also, the staff is extremely friendly and welcoming!!!

Oh my goodness: Oh Goodness was the highlight of our trip to Greensboro! My husband and I are both gluten-free, and I’m sugar-free, so I found this bakery via a Google search. I was delighted to learn it was within walking distance from our bed & breakfast!

The bakery offered a HUGE selection of keto treats! It was so hard to choose just one thing—so we ended up buying a bunch of treats to take home! We enjoyed cinnamon rolls at the bakery. I enjoyed a cup of coffee with almond milk, monk fruit, and sugar-free pumpkin spice syrup!

Connie was so personable & made our visit so enjoyable! She let us sample the candied pecans and homemade seed crackers. Yum!

We ended up getting frosted sugar cookies (tried last night—DELICIOUS!), peanut butter fudge (tried this morning—YUM!!), a chocolate peanut butter ball, a lemon ball, chocolate chip cookie sandwiches, a slice of chocolate caramel cake, a slice of chocolate cheesecake, strawberry cupcakes, lemon poppyseed cake, and a crumb cake cupcake. ALL were sugar free! Did I mention it was hard to choose?! There were a few more items we didn’t get—although we hope to come back!

I loved that ALL ingredients & nutritional info was clearly displayed for each individual item on the wall. I follow the Trim Healthy Mama eating plan, and all of the items are compliant for a THM S.

Oh Goodness Bakery has become one of my favorite small business options to support. The desserts and treats are diabetic friendly, and have no impact on my blood sugar! Everything I’ve tried is delicious, even better than regular desserts. There is a large variety to select from, so you’re sure to find something you’ll like…..probably too many to count! Give Oh Goodness Bakery items a try, you won’t be sorry!!

My wife is diabetic and decided to give this place a shot. We went to the bakery and got a piece of each kind. The pumpkin cheese cake bites were a hit! We loved how soft and tasty they were. My wife did a little science experiment with the strawberry lemon cupcake and crackle bar. Her fasting sugar level that morning was 112. She calculated insulin for 5 g for coffee/cream (it usually spikes her levels for some reason) and 13 g for the strawberry cupcake. Then, she took the sugar alcohol and divided it in half. This is what she usually do for other foods. She checked her sugar level 30 minutes later and it dropped down to 101! This means that she needed to eat more carbs because she was going low. So, she ate the crackle bar without adding any insulin and checked again 30 minutes later, and she was 105! This means that the cupcake and bar probably are 4 net carbs as advertised with no hidden carbs that type 1s have to worry about! I’m so happy that you guys are in Greensboro and will definitely be back!

We had a whoopie pie, a chocolate-chip cookie, a pecan-pie truffle, and a peanut-butter ball. All were delicious! The cookie did have an unexpected coconut element for us gluten eaters, but I feel like that would not be surprising for anyone who is used to eating gluten-free foods. Thank you!!

As a fellow keto baker I can tell you this Bakery has great baked goods AND keto friendly coffee!! I love the variety, it's so hard to find keto baked goods. They also list all the nutrient information. I highly suggest you get the cupcakes and crumbles, they are fantastic!

My boyfriend just got diagnosed with diabetes and I dont eat dairy, these were super awesome treats to help him adjust to his new diet and made him super happy, we both enjoyed them very much. The desserts were super tasty and the two employees helping us were so sweet helpful and enjoyable.

I have dietary restrictions to be gluten free, dairy free, and soy free so it was wonderful to have multiple choices here that worked for me. I got a little chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and a oatmeal peanut butter cookie sandwich. Both were amazing! I'm also super impressed at the frosting texture and flavor! Like a buttercream but a bit lighter and fluffier. I live abroad most of the time so I honestly wish I had the recipe!

Love this place and their Keto desserts!! I have just placed my second made to order cake this year - a birthday cake for my brother’s 45th birthday. He follows a strict Keto diet, and I’m thrilled to have found this wonderful bakery! So often, low or no sugar added baked goods have an icky aftertaste, but these certainly don’t! I’ll keep ordering as long as they keep making them!

I have no dietary restrictions myself, but I have passed this place many times wondering what it was like. I finally decided to stop in and I was glad I did. Its a cute little shop that serves coffee and sweets. I tried several different things and all of them were very delicious. The lemon balls and the crispy peanut butter bars were my favorite. The woman behind the counter was all smiles, and had no problem answering my questions. The prices were very reasonable, will definitely visit again when I'm in the mood for some homemade sweets.

There are "regular" bakeries on every street, BUT this bakery is different. It is a huge asset to the community that is trying to eat healthier. If you are on Keto, a diabetic and trying to keep your sugars in line, THIS is the place for you. I have tried almost EVERYTHING that they have to offer and there is NOTHING that is not delicious. Not only are these items delicious, you do not know that they are good for you. This has been the greatest thing for our new life style. I can attend parties with my own goody and not worry about the affect it will have on my body. It is a must try!

I stopped by here for a few goodies to try post gastric bypass surgery (now that my diet allows) and I was blown away by the deliciousness! I grabbed a vanilla cupcake, carrot cake cupcake, crumb cake muffin and rolls. I can only sample a bit at a time but everything is fabulous and moist with none of that chemical after taste that can come with a lot of keto foods. And the owner was so nice and informative and heartfelt in what she does. If you've been thinking about dropping by, Do It! You won't regret it!

I am so grateful for Oh Goodness Bakery and the delicious, sugar-free desserts that I can get from my local bakery The English Rose Bake Shop in Pleasant Garden. I am a diabetic and having a sugar-free dessert that doesn't spike my blood sugar is such a treat.Try the chocolate covered donuts or the peanut butter crunch bars; they are amazing!!!

Super fairly priced and really good quality! The cold brew is excellent! I would skip the Starbucks and try out this bakerys coffee! It is way better tasting and cost efficient. The cheesecake is Heavenly! The trail mix cookie is delicious! I've tried a number of things and nothing has disappointed me! I highly recommend for the quality and price. This is a keto friendly place, but even as someone who isn't on a keto diet, I really enjoy what the shop has to offer!

I really appreciate that this shop helps keep the community healthier. There are a lot of bakerys, but not a lot of places that provide healthy options, and that's just what this place does a great job at! They have keto friendly, low sugar, and low calorie and low carb options. Neither my wife or I are doing any special diets, but we still really enjoyed this cute, tasty, and cost efficient shop!

This bakery is great! I haven’t had anything I don’t like. A little feedback for the bakery: You say all your items are 5 net carbs or less but some are more and some they don’t post macros. I need the macros for everything and if you make something higher in carbs make it VERY clear to your customers. It is important to be able to log macro accurately!

Hands down, this is my favorite keto bakery in the state. All of their goodies are fantastic tasting and don’t even get me started on their biscuits. I buy those in bulk and freeze them. The owners/staff are super friendly and always remember me, which gives it that personal touch. My favorites include their cupcakes and Whoopi pies but everything is delicious! They are worth the 30-minute drive for me and I recommend them to all my friends and coworkers. Try them for yourself, you will not regret it!
