Sunset Park

Beautiful view, and they have done some landscaping since the last time we were there, so its not overgrown like it was in the summer/fall of 2023.

This park is really just a paved path that makes its way down from a parking lot to a seating area next to the river. There's a rocky section that juts out into the river where you can fish. A nice little park.

Great place to Sunglaze. Bluff overlooking the Missouri river. North Count hidden gem. Trails to the river are great.

I check out and review all parks in the area and this is one of my favorites. It is so secluded. I took my bike what a fun ride down. It is a huge hill so my lazy bum walked my bike back up ;) I will just walk this one next time.

This is definitely a beautiful site seeing park. I went this morning to see the sunrise and it was breathtaking. Although there isn't a playground for the kids, it's an awesome trail walking/bike riding park. The trails take you straight down to the river which makes a beautiful site to watch the sunrise or sunset

Went on a lovely, peaceful Sunday morning walk along the trail with the kiddo. With the addition of the paved trail, this beautiful park has changed very little since the 80's.

I live the scenery. Kind of gave me so.e scary thoughts on tbe beginning. But as you go more and more all the way to the end. The more sacred and beautiful it gets. I love this place.

Always so beautiful and peaceful, the trails are nice to walk on, but make sure you wear tennis shoes, or shoes with ankle support, as there are some steep hills and uneven paths! Great place to just enjoy the sounds of nature and watch the river flow. Wear long socks and/or pants that cover ankles if you plan on going into the grass, as there is some poison ivy (remember; leaves of 3, let it be!) in some of the grassy areas, but you should be perfectly safe if you stay on the paths!

MyTrails didn't get us there, but finding it was great! The most lengthy and gorgeous views of the Missouri of many riverside parks. Paved well cared for with lots of benches. Great for birds watching. Very peaceful. It's an out and back, down then uphill. But gentle. 👍👍👍

Great trail along the river with lots of benches where you can sit and listen to the nature around you. If you want to get up close to the river you should wear good shoes. A copperhead might poke it's head up to say "hi". There is plenty of space for frisbee and kite flying but only one bbq pit. A few scattered picnic tables too.

The path will take you out into the river on a collection of rocks.

Parking is plentiful as well. Great for pets and kids.

Beautiful park with a lovely trail that leads right to the river. Watching the sunset on the river is an experience I hope everyone can see at least once, and this is the place to do it. The walk to the bottom may seem like a long one, but it is so worth it in the end. The walk itself is so calm and nice, and then the scenery and the river make it that match better.

The trail is wonderful with beautiful views of the Missouri river along a descending woodsy one mile trail. There are several benches if you need to catch your breath on the accent. There is a sandbar at the end.

Peaceful. Some steep parts. The view at the end is well worth the walk.

Nice spot was looking for posts to fish would be nice if the trail was opened up an it was a road lol so I could get to easier for fishing

Great place for a workout, tough hills. But it pushes me to be my best!!
