Nice place for a hike. Some parts of the trail are challenging and not stroller friendly 😉

Great 1 mile challenge trail. Figure eight trail well maintained and there are a few hidden cashes. If you know, you know. Bring water and your GPS.

Great small park for a short hike through the woods. Usually not many people here. Great dog walking spot.

Took our dogs here for a nice hike. They loved running through the woods and splashing in the little creek under the bridge. (Would bring a towel just incase) the hills weren't too bad and plenty of nature to see. Definitely would recommend.

This is a beautiful and surprisingly large park nestled in the middle of suburbia. Much of the park is heavily forested, while the back of the park is an open prairie with all manner of wildflowers, especially in the spring. The main loop is a moderate-grade mile long treadway with some hills and valleys, but there are also a few spurs and diversions along the way. (We ended up walking nearly three miles, including a separate grass loop around the prairie area.) It's the only designated ecological park in the St. Louis County system, so if you're into plants and wildlife, you'll love this. There are a couple of picnic tables at the front of the park in an unshaded area, but this is primarily a walking / hiking park.

Great day for a walk in the woods and Champ Trails is a great place to start. We found a great place to look for mushrooms in an old dead tree. Lots of birds singing and beautiful dogwoods spread through forest. It would be a good idea to have insect spray on hand, all the rain this season is creating plenty of puddles for breeding mosquitoes.

Very nice but make sure you check yourself for ticks afterwards

Nice location, plenty of wildlife, woodpeckers, deer, skunks, etc. Usually have the place to myself. Great for letting your dogs run free (might get wet & dirty, though!) For exercise, several large uphills and downhills to target your leg muscles. Free and convenient. Picnic tables and walking paths, dirt and old pavement.

Short but wonderful hiking trails. Plenty of space for kids to play in both fields. Nice secluded set of trails

Visited in the fall after most the leaves were gone but still beautiful. Would love to come back in the spring or summer and see it then.
