Loved this store! I found a really cute manga called The Invisible Man & His Soon-to-Be Wife and I can't get enough of it! Loved the good vibes I felt! Recommend giving them a visit!!!

The vibes are incredible. The place is clean, the people are nice, the prices are very fair. It's very therapeutic 😌 p.s. give a raise to the cashier with the eevee shirt she's awesome.

Best comic book store in the area. Hands down, best store to carry all #1 issues for all titles, Marvel & DC, Darkhorse. This was the first store to carry all Masters of the Universe issues. Lacrosse didn't have any and barely had any #1's or variants. This place did. Jimmy jams is cozy, with friendly store owners, plus all the D&D books and miniatures you could ever want. They also sell video games for Xbox, PS2, PS, Nintendo Wii. They also have large rooms for campaigns or card duels. This place is awesome!!!!

Nice store, with some gaming space and a great selection of products in stock, including difficult to find P3 paints. Friendly, but not overbearing, staff.

Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere... whether you're into comics, action figures, trading cards, video games or even darts jimmy jams is the place to go!

The people working were very helpful in helping me make decisions on what to purchase, were more than happy to talk about similar interests, and provided outside resources to better help me reignite an old hobby of mine. Definitely a great place to shop!

Nice local comic book store, also sells to use DVDs and video games. My son goes there about once a week, and browses through everything. The folks that work there are really helpful and kind. Recommend for anyone who's looking for a nice community. There's a background that is used for card games, I'm not involved in that, but it looks like a great place.

Great local gaming and comic book store. They have plenty of variety of comics, beginner board games, as well as lots of materials for the in depth games, such as D&D or MTG. Their prices are pretty much on par with MSRP; there's not really any unnecessary markup. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Jimmy Jams is just about the perfect jack-of-all-trades comics and games store. While it's a little shop and may not have the depth of a store focused on a specific topic, it has great offerings for just about every area of nerdy hobby.

--Comics: They have weekly floppies from the major comics publishers and a fantastic selection of trades and volumes. Their selection of volumes is better than any general hobby store I've seen - whoever curates their comics has great taste and you should definitely ask them for recommendations. Their manga section is a bit slim though.

--Cards: They carry the latest MTG and Pokemon sets, and have a very active trade-in business. Most of the traffic I saw coming into the store was for cards, and they seem to be knowledgeable and fair with their pricing.

--Board games: They have lots of board games with great organization by genre (adventure, horror, strategy, party, etc.). They have a lot of the popular games you'd be looking for, and a good selection of expansions. They also offer quite a few preview games if you want to try before you buy.

--Tabletop games: Plenty of DnD books, along with a smattering of figures and a decent selection of paints. You'll love it if you're a 5E player.

--Video games: A variety of games from the Gamecube/PS2 era up to PS4/Xbox1/Switch. Some older cartridge games in cases too. Their selection was actually really good - the shelves are definitely not just stuffed with shovelware like you often see.

--Movies: Several large racks of Blu-rays and DVDs. Tons of variety and EXTREMELY cheap.

--Figures: A very modest rack of funkos, plus a selection of large cape comic statues. So many of these stores have gigantic funko shelves, so I was very pleased that they keep it reigned in to just a small shelf in the back with the most popular characters.

--Event space: A nice little event space in the back with about 5 or 6 tables. Looks like you could fit about 20 people comfortably, more if you cram in. They post schedules for regular MTG events and I was told they're hosting ongoing DnD sessions in the future. I would definitely come to events here.

If you live in the Winona area or are just passing through, you should definitely make Jimmy Jams your destination for anything nerdy. I loved the store offerings, the staff, and the general vibe.

Best comic store I've ever been too. Anything you wanna start reading is organized In order. They have the first issue of everything too most places I go to never have the first issue or volume, and nobody wants to start from the second. I could spend hours here!!!!

I swear this place is magic! Everytime I walk in, I find something that I have spent years searching for!

(I have found nearly all of the Power Rangers series and the US editions of the first couple seasons of Red Dwarf here!)

On top of that, everyone who works there is so welcoming and friendly!

I have been coming to Jim’s since I was 11 I’m 35 now and still go. You won’t find a better selection of games of all kinds, comics, magic the gathering and bunch of movies!! He also owns a shop in Lacrosse WI!!

Such a great comic cook shop/game store. Very knowledgable and friendly customer service. They can help you with all your nerdy hobbies. Card games, comics, manga, board games, vide games, and the accessories that go with them. Love this shop and will be returning soon.

They don't sell games workshop products, however they are extremely helpful with finding what you need and are willing to order as well, plus they offer just about any paint I might need, been my go to for a long time now

Edit to this, turns out they have a sister location in La Crosse called River City Hobbies that does carry games workshop products, they share a punch card with Jimmy Jams as well

Has all your gaming, comic, movies, etc. Needs. Staff are all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.
Staff are awsome at helping find what I want, and will also order some things they don't have.

A great shop for any gaming need! Video games, board games, comics galore, and a very friendly atmosphere. The back rooms are great for a session of D&D or whatever else you want to play!

Fantastic first experience in this store! Very helpful and knowledgeable employees! Went above and beyond to help me find something I was interested in, and even had wonderful recommendations for others I might enjoy.

The epicenter of geek culture in Winona. A happy, handsome gentleman bought my video games at a fair price and I got to browse a huge variety of board games and comics in the meantime. If I were sticking around town longer, I would have signed up for the DnD dungeon master community event. Definitely give them a visit.
