Black Horse Bar & Grill

Out of town working, asked around for the best place that had cold drinks and food. I had no idea I had stumbled upon such an incredible place. Food was absolutely delicious. In years of traveling for work or vacation I have never had such large sized portions, an establishment truly serving there customers. Soup, and full salad bar as well. If ever in Minnesota this is a must stop in and check out.

Good bar/restaurant. Diverse supper menu. Our group ordered everything from Spam fries, to a BLT and even prime rib. Our server and as all the food was great!

Best food in Minnesota. Everyone is really friendly and very personable. I travel a lot for work and this is the best place I have found for dinner and a beer, hands down....

Wow the owner Andrie is so kind. The staff is so friendly and accomodating to small or large groups of dinners. The Black Horse offers a salad bar every night of the week. The shrimp and fish are my favorites, the portion size is very good. This is a hidden gem. Great gathering place, great event space, you can enjoy the food at the bar or in the restaurant area. If you bring kids you can sit in the restaurant area and not feel as if you are in a bar.

We went to the Midget Wrestling Event. I laughed so much. It was a full house, but it was set up comfortably. They were fully staffed and very friendly. We had a great time.

André and staff are awesome.
We have met many new friends, as well spending time with long time friends at the Black Horse, all while enjoying great drinks, awesome food and conversations and laughs

Very great excellent steak 🥩 dinner I had here. Food was fantastic and looks like they serve all you can eat Sunday brunch. Very good food and atmosphere I’ll definitely come back!

I've been here before and it's always really good, but this is the first time I had the fish fry. Wow, I will honestly say this is the best fish I have ever had. Literally

Just went here for a casual lunch and was blown away by the food, service was awesome, and the food came out fairly quick. And to top it all off the price was very friendly as well. Most definitely coming back

Great food, great service. We had the (walleye) fish tacos (subbed cheese curds) and the Black Horse burger with seasoned waffle fries. Both meals were massive & our supper is now covered.

Ordered the black horse burger and Croquettes appetizer. Went for lunch so menu was different
We sat at the bar and our server was the guy behind the bar. He was nice with sense of humor. When my appetizer came out the server immediately found something wrong with my order before handing it to me. Good eye.

Great silk bag teas , not the typical cheap kind you get from you generic grocery store

Overall we had a wonderful meal

Bloody Mary delicious! Burgers and cheese curds are the best.
CiCi is an added bonus, friendly, attentive and efficient.

Wowzers, I was shocked at the quality of food and service here. Would recommend to anyone in the Winona and Onalaska area. Can't miss.
Photo quality is poor, but the Memphis burger and pesto pasta were immaculate.

A buddy and I stopped in for lunch recently and both enjoyed the Italian Beef and a cold brew.
Absolutely one of the best sliced beef sammies I have had in a long time and a great selection of draft beers.
Sat at the bar and enjoyed visiting with the bartender as she ensured we had everything we needed during our meal.
I will be back!

Just like many of the places my family used to go, this is a classic Midwestern style rural steakhouse. The food is very good and the service is too. They have an extensive menu, so you're sure to find something you'll enjoy.

The service was fast and friendly, if you're in the area I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat !!! The bartender was cute and friendly..
They have a seating at the bar as well as a large area in the restaurant.
They have a large banquet room attached to the bar restaurant as well, where they have parties, live bands, weddings and gatherings as well as tournaments which is a lot of fun..
We had the breakfast served family style and was amazing.. we also had bloody Mary's which were also amazing and the whole menu looked great..
I love bloodys spicy and they can make them really spicy if you ask for it...
Lots of parking in the front of the restaurant.
I stop here every few months and am never disappointed.. Love this place..
If you're in the area, definitely stop in and check it out.. You won't be disappointed..
They also offer delivery or pickup as well..
