They are the NICEST people & have amazing food! 👏 We were passing through on the way home & found this stop not too far off the highway. My family all got the BBQ plates with fries, Cole slaw, & hush puppies. The servings were very generous & it’s really reasonably priced.

The solar eclipse was just about to happen & they gave us glasses to use as we couldn’t find any to buy. We were all able to see it & it was SO kind of them to give us glasses!

It’s hard to find this level of customer service & delicious food at a great price. We will absolutely be back!

One of my favorite restaurants! They have that good ole southern style cooking. The food is delicious! The owner, and staff are the nicest, and friendliest people you would ever want to meet. The best customer service ever! The people that come there to eat are also nice and friendly. Just one big happy family! I always have a great time when I go there!👍🏾

Working on the east side of Greensboro this morning and had to get me something to eat I honestly didn't want to wait for lunch so I settled on breakfast and found Bernie's BBQ on Google maps so I figured I would stop by, as I arrived I had a flashback of a memory and realized I have been here before but it was long ago so idk what I would have eaten here but I got the scrambled egg with bacon and a gravy biscuit with a pancake on the side and OMG 😳🥰 it reminded me of going to get breakfast when I was a little girl. It was so fresh and hot delicious and not too long of a wait l Service was great they are busy so expect a big crowd it is small but super cute and really feels like a diner. It reminds me of growing up in the country and there was no fast food restaurants around just a family and a dream ✨

Great place to go for breakfast and or lunch. All the waitresses are great, and friendly. Iced tea and ice are the bomb.

Bernie's is the real deal. The food is so good and the price is so reasonable. If I lived out here I would eat here every day. The waitresses were personable and efficient. I loved the friendly banter between them and the locals. Everyone knew each other and the ambiance was the best. I had the BBQ-cole slaw- hush puppies and fries. It was the best comfort food I have had. This place is an institution and represent the people, food and charm of North Carolina

This place is always packed because it's always amazing. Friendly staff with prompt service. Top to bottom the menu is very affordable and delicious. Value to taste ratio is off the charts. Everyone needs to try this place for breakfast AND lunch.

I can't say enough about this place. I probably visit once a year, and each time, it's just like the first. Thus is definitely a family oriented restaurant, and I love it. They will always get my vote for breakfast, and the smoked sausage is to die for!

Wow it was like going home for lunch and my mom whipped me up home cooking. So much food . Then when I got up and paid it was $10 are you kidding me. Drink ,main dish and 2 sides. Got back to work and felt like I needed a nap. Worth checking it out. One of Greensboro nc hidden treasures

6am Breakfast, Plate lunch, community orientation, and..... Of course, GREAT FOOD. Monday through Friday. Done and gone @ 3pm... Can't find friendlier service that truly attends to "The Customers Needs" yet keeps the family comfort you'd expect from friends. Love this place.

I love this place. The food is Excellent with a lot to choose from. The breakfast is like being back at grandmas. The customer service I receive is just amazing I don't know the last at the register name but she is so sweet and lovely. This is a must stop place to eat if you ever rolling thru town.

Wonderful food and service ! You really feel like family when you're there. A special thank you to Sue! Country style steak is our favorite. We really look forward to the banana pudding, as well.
