Boss Hog's Bar-B-Que

The experience for take-out was ABSOLUTELY amazing! I picked up a work order for about 7-8 people and every meal was made with accuracy and was DELICIOUS! I love and appreciate a service that anticipates every need! Just when I wanted hot sauce for my fish, it was in my container, and any other condiment. Lastly, the care of packaging, parchment paper was placed so fries and fish didn't get soggy from my baked beans and to separate my condiments from my food. Needless to say, go and get you some!

Food was excellent! Mac and cheese just like my Gma used to make. Portion size was good, $8 for fried fish, 2 sides, and choice of bread. Cash only, though. It's probably better if you call your order in but still be prepared to wait. No inside dining today, tables were available to wait at. DON'T expect anything fancy... It's a hole in the wall type of place but the food is good, greasy, and phenomenal for an indulgence.

Their pulled pork is done the RIGHT WAY. The chicken (fried or baked)plates are great dinners. BBQ & Fish sandwichs make a great lunch.

The staff was very friendly. OMG the food was delicious and cook and season just right. I got fish with cabbage and string beans with hush puppies.

Boss Hogs is always good. Don't go as much as I used too but when I go, it's never disappointing. Service is slow, but that's cause food is made to order.

I stop in every time I'm in Greensboro. My family has been eating here since I was young, so I have to visit! Always delicious and hot. Family business and loving atmosphere!

Food was amazing! First time eating here! I ordered the chicken wing meal. Had 6 wings, cabbage, green beans and hush puppies! Everything was spot on! My new soul food spot for sure.

Call order in and still had to wait 15 minutes. Fish was really good, they give you a lot for the price.

Husband and I ordered 2 bbq chicken dinners macaroni and cheese green beans and baked beans sweet tea & sweet potato pie. Everything was very tasty! Mac & cheese was a little cold but nothing the microwave can’t fix! Small spot but the food was great. Will def be back

The finest BBQ I believe I've ever had , the sauce was incredible , perfect hush puppies best slaw real mac and cheese I can go on. Everyone was real nice and the service was quick. I have saved the directions back to there on my phone as I hope to get back there as often as possible. I can't wait to try the ribs next time

I've been to Boss Hog's many times and always have a good experience with them. I order over the phone and the pickup time that they give is always prompt and accurate. It should be noted that the business is cash only but I never find this to be an inconvenience. The food is delicious, with large portions and well priced. I'm looking forward to more visits in the future!

Just had lunch here. Best ribs I've had in a long time! Also good vegetables. Big portions. Would recommend it!

This mom and pop restaurant has Great food at fair prices. I have liked all over for the best sweet potato pie and theirs is the best sweet potato pies in town. I buy two whole pies when they are available. All of the food taste as good a my grandma’s. All of the food has that church lady quality. I Highly RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. I have never been disappointed.

Hole in the wall type of place. I've been eating NC BBQ for over 25 years. This BBQ is good! Just be prepared to wait; took a while to get my order. Hotdog is pretty tasty too. The only thing that I would deduct a star is the tea. Wasn't bad but lemon 🍋 flavor to it.

Best underrated place for soul food in greensboro. Love the wings!

The food here is always good and hot and seasoned well. It's best to call your order in and you want have to wait so long. It'll be ready when you get there

Absolutely banging ribs and more. I get the whole rack with sauce o the side! Add a tad bit of salt to them and Boooooooyyyyaaaaaaaa!
