If 10 star reviews existed.. I promise you I would give it. I went through a very abnormal guardianship case that was put over my son and I filed to terminate.. however it seemed clear to me that I was going to need further help. I called several attorneys in the county of which it was filed and they all quoted me a $4,000-$6,000 retainer. After doing more research I found Knight, Stockton, & Cunningham. I gave my information on their website late in the evening and received a call from Conner Ciesla the next morning. I explained my case to him and he automatically gave me the hope and faith I needed to continue fighting for my son. The retainer was very flexible and they allowed me to make payments, still allowing me to do so now, and he began working on my case. The timing of everything was not ideal due to it being the last week of December, but Conner pushed through and worked hard for me. He gave me straight advice and never beat around the bush about anything. In January he fought for my visitation and that was a win for us. Our next court date was March 11th and Conner was ready to advocate and fight for me in any way he could. We ended up settling on terms, to which I got to pick, and I couldn’t be more happy with the results. Due to all of Conners hard work and strive he had, I can gladly say that the unnecessary guardianship over my son is said and done and I get to have my baby back. A big hats off to him. I don’t think it would have been possible without him.
I highly recommend Conner Ciesla from Knight, Stockton, & Cunningham. All of their assistants work hard as well to answer every call coming within a ring or two. Can’t get into the office? No problem! They have a portal called “Clio” that gives you access to send a message at any time of the day, as well as uploading documents and allows you to make payments easily. They are highly persistent on checking the messages first thing in the morning. They get back to you fast and connect you with your lawyer as soon as you need it.

Connor did an amazing job on our case. We had to find a lawyer to get emergency guardianship of our grandson and Connor worked all day to help us get him out of DHS custody and has worked with us the last few months to get us granted permanent guardianship. Paid a $2,500 retainer fee for a guardianship case getting revoked, and nothing was even done and it made me look dumb in court saying I wasn’t even on the guardianship case(idk how that works) . Told me he’d speak to me after the court was over and never did after I waited 40 minutes after waiting for him, it takes 5-10 days for them to even get back to you on the clio app they told me to use and I have to call and leave voicemails MULTIPLE times for them to even get them to call me back,they told me they WOULDN'T fight for full custody that the other attorney was a fighter and the judge was tough. Horton was my attorney. I’m very disappointed, what lawyer says they won’t fight for you after I paid them??? Waiting on a response to refund me the remainder of a $199 I have left of the retainer fee after I told them I didn’t want them on my case anymore..Will update after that’s resolved also.

I personally would not recommend using this law firm. The staff is made up of people that are by far some of the rudest and most condescending people that i have ever done business with. Instead of explaining the answer to a question like an adult they instead will just hang up and then lie to the lawyer as to why they did so. This would be you Dusty. They make obvious mistakes and then want to charge you more to fix them. They did not do things as they promised and then come up with multiple excuses to try and cover up their own ineptness. Just because a customer needs an attorney does not make them stupid. This is a concept this office just cant grasp. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional office. Use at you own risk. You will be treated with disrespect and derision.
