The outside reminded me of a 50’s or 60’s place! The food was wonderful. We had both lunch and breakfast items. One of our party members ordered chicken quesadilla. She needed guacamole and they made it fresh for her😀 They currently have inside and outside seating. Their restrooms were very clean. It is obvious they are involved in their community and support veterans! The staff was very efficient and friendly. We enjoyed our time at the Silver Grill. I would highly recommend you stop and have a meal if you’re in Denver,NC. You will be glad you experienced dining at The Silver Grill!

Truth in advertising -- the Silver Grill is a big shiny diner, as bright and clean on the inside as it is on the exterior. Welcoming and bustling, this spot fits neatly with my expectations of a perfect diner, with plenty of parking to boot. There is a wide variety of breakfast items and lunch options to please most anyone. I enjoyed the Eggs Benedict Florentine -- a shoe-in for me with my weakness for poached eggs and Hollandaise. This spot seems to be popular with the locals. While I was in a virtual meeting on my laptop, the table next to me was busily engaged in another meeting. The owner, JC Hueck, a retired marine, clearly takes great pride in his place. He offered me a taste of a new dish he's working on -- a chorizo and beef burger. Nomnomnom! Keep your eye on The Silver Grill; you can expect great tasting, well-priced offerings and friendly, efficient service.

Great food and service. I tried to eat all of the double cheeseburger but it was huge! I left full and happy. We will be going back. Finally got to try the breakfast 3-4-22 and it was also awesome.

Great and friendly service, cozy seating and delicious breakfast with huge portions. Couldn't even finish my plate. Can't wait to try the lunch menu.

This little place is so awesome! My food was delicious and Danielle, my server was just SUPER sweet and helpful. Next time I breeze through Denver I’m definitely going to come back here! Thanks Silver Grill!😊❤‼

I give this restaurant a 5 star there food is awesome loved it nice friendly staff loved it but please don't say you make Authentic pork Cuban sandwich cause you don't sorry to say here are 2 pictures guess Which one is real which 1 is not

Found this gem while traveling through town. Wanted a homey type place with real food. Got to admit.... Was well worth it. Would definitely come back when in town. I got the sausage biscuit Benedict..... Extremely apprehensive at first, not a Benedict fan. But I must admit, wow, it was amazing.

First time here. Great service by Ashley. Food was excellent. Portions were huge. Will definitely be back.

This place is pretty amazing! The fries are out of this world and perfectly cooked burgers, breakfast is just as good!

I have never been to the Silver Grill but I want to write a review on the owner, who I believe is named Joe. I was at a gas station in Huntersville NC 6 years ago, where I literally had to pay for gas with change IN PENNIES to get a little bit of gas, maybe $1.50... I was struggling and had to do what I had to do. My wife was pregnant with our now 5 year old. I paid in pennies, counting them forever and holding up the line. After getting to the pump, the man that was behind me in line walked out and told me, "I've been where you are, fill your tank and come by the Silver Grill in Denver, which I own, and I will give you and your wife a free meal, just pay it forward." I feel horrible for never going there and thanking this man. I moved out of state shortly after, but I am back in NC and have never forgotten this moment. I am forever grateful to this man who I've never had a real opportunity to thank. If you ever read this, know that what you did has stuck with me forever. Thank you.

Food and service, absolutely excellent. Called in a take out and was late picking up. I would have gladly taken the now cold order but the server insisted on replacing the eggs and toast. The food and grits were the best ever. I watched the cook fix eggs in the iron skillet over open flames, just like my grandmother would. And the grits were the best l can remember. Will definitely recommend this place!

Food and staff are absolutely phenomenal

It's easy to tell a good restaurant in an area that you've never been in, because the locals go there, and it's a busy place. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, but I had the Philly steak and my friend a grilled chicken salad, both were very delicious good size portions to. Definitely would recommend going here, and next time I'm in the Lake Norman area in Denver North Carolina, I will go there again

I don’t write reviews often but if you want a great “basic” breakfast this place is fantastic. Portion sizes are very generous and it is consistently cooked the way it is ordered. The staff works their tails off to make you feel appreciated as a customer and actually greets their regulars by name. This is the way I remember diners when I grew up. Nothing fancy....just great at what they do.

We go here a lot, the service is always terrific and the food is great. We had breakfast outside this time which was very enjoyable. We both had the corned beef and eggs, not corned beef hash which is a mistake I made at first but actual corned beef but it is still very enjoyable and I love the hash browns here. Even the toast is made from a higher quality bread.

Good food for a cheap price! Customer Service was good, my fiancee and I shared the scrambled eggs with ham, and three pancakes. The pancakes were a tad bit bland for my liking, but everything else was phenomenal. Will definitely be back.

The food here is great! I LOVE the burgers and their Philly Cheese Steak! It gets a little crazy on weekends! The grill is small, there are only 2 cooks who are cooking everything from pancakes to burgers! If you plan to go there on a weekend, patience is a must but I always feel welcome, and to me, it's worth the wait!

Hands down exceeded expectations.
Wings amazing, Burgers ginormous, portions and prices excellent, staff top notch! They got a good thing going at the Silver Grill ,highly recommended. Looking forward to trying out breakfast menu! Hats off to you Silver Grill, keep up the good work, we will be back.

We arrived around 8:50am and must have missed the Saturday morning rush because we didn’t have to wait. The place was packed; note the restaurant is small and cozy. We were waited on right away by Jennifer B. who is an awesome waitress. She was very helpful and friendly, and gave us a senior discount without us having to ask. We really enjoyed the coffee (very important)! My husband loved his omelet (cheese, black olives, jalapeños) and crispy hash browns; generous portions. I had the best melt-in-your mouth blueberry pancakes; half stack (2) and couldn’t finish them along with a side of scrambled eggs. You can have the blueberries just on top or I had them on top and cooked into the batter. Cost before discount and taxes; $21.60. My husband wants to go back already. They have tables outside so we hope to bring our dog when summer comes.

Super cute little diner. My husband and I love it!! All the employees are very friendly and the food is really good. My sons like to order the Hungry Man breakfast, which has a lot of meat portions. Good for the meat lovers 😊. I love the Eggs Florentine. Absolutely my favorite! I've had breakfast and lunch here, and the food is really great. The restaurant can get crowded fast, but it's totally worth the wait and they have seating outside for the warmer days. They've been very good observing all the Covid requirements for cleanliness and they have a hand sanitizer bottle on every table and all their employees make sure to wear masks. I highly recommend eating here. This is definitely a great restaurant to try out.
