The Foundry Restaurant

Came here on a Sunday evening. Food was great, especially the whipped ricotta breads for appetizers. Husband got a pot roast and au got a mixed grains salad with salmon. Everything tasted amazing. The mains took a long while but could have been because of a Sunday evening

First time visiting The Foundry - and we will be back! The Hosts and the Servers are so friendly and cheerful, and I love the open, airy feel to the restaurant. The food was unique and delicious! Located in a gated community, you just need to drive through as a guest and mention you are heading to the restaurant. Such a lovely community - looks like a great place to live!

Very nice place. Great customer service. Food was very delicious. Loved that we got seated in a private glass window room with our kids. It was perfect. We will be back.

One of my new favorite places! We had the nachos for an appetizer and they were huge. It had plenty of toppings and tasted great. I had a pasta with butternut squash and mushrooms. It was really good but needed salt. My husband got the burnt ends which were some of the best he had ever had.

The seating and decor is so nice. It's a small place, so make a reservation.

Located inside the Trilogy community - farmhouse chic... casual, great food, mid-priced. We had a wedge salad, pizza, a burger, pot roast & wings, the lot was good. I highly recommend it.

Food was good. We really enjoyed the grilled cheese. The gluten free buns were good - not crusty and hard. There were several gluten free options on the menu.

Very, very good meal at the Foundry. In my opinion, the chef is masterful at combining varied textures and flavors in his dishes. Case in point: the shrimp and grits. The grits were cooked down to give them a firm texture. That, combined with the perfectly cooked shrimp, the roasted peppers, and the crisp andouille sausage, created a wonderfully pleasing bite. It included a wide spectrum of flavors as well, with the creamy/cheesy grits, the Cajun-spicy sausage, and sweet roasted peppers. Wonderful martinis and dessert. Good, strong coffee. Very reasonable prices. Great spot in Denver (Stanley), worth a try.

Tucked inside the gated Trilogy community in Denver (but open to the public), this small restaurant is a hidden gem. The menu has a nice variety of items including cocktails, beer and wine. There were three of us, and we each started with a different salad to share -- the house, the arugula with pine nuts and goat cheese, and the kale/quinoa with blueberries and grapes. All were tasty, but the kale/quinoa was a standout. Several salads can be ordered as a half or full size portion.

For our main course we chose the miso ahai tuna, salmon, and shrimp and grits (sans andouille sausage). Their plate presentations were great (see photos) as were the dishes. While the miso tuna was cooked to perfection, we did find the overall dish a bit dry and bland. The salmon as well as the shrimp with grits were the winners. And the portions were ample enough that we took home leftovers. Clearly this chef has it going on!

For dessert, the croissant bread pudding with toffee ice cream was a unique and delicious finish to a fabulous meal.

The restaurant decor had a very young vibe with white walls, dark barn plank floors accented by shades of gray and lots of windows. There was also some outdoor sitting around a fireplace. Inside, the high ceiling did make it a bit noisy from the lively conversations of a full restaurant. With all that Charlotte has to offer, who knew we would find our new favorite place in Denver?!

We went for a couples dinner with some friends. The atmosphere was inviting. We were seated immediately and our server was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.
The food was great and fairly priced. I would definitely visit again.

Excellent restaurant. Highly recommend the pretzel appetizer (I know, trust me) and the candied brussels salad. And if you sit at the bar, then ask for Brittany as your bartender.

LOVELY! A true hidden jump without stamping service and amazing food. this place is wonderful for a casual or fancy meal.

All I can say is…absolutely stunning! Wanted to take my mother out for her 75th birthday and make it special, The Foundry did not disappoint. The atmosphere was so comforting, the food was so delicious and fresh, and the service was top notch. Our server Isaiah was the best we have ever experienced! Made us feel comfortable and at home. He was delightful, charismatic, kind and beyond helpful. Absolutely will be returning!

Really really good food! Went for lunch and impressed at the quality! The restaurant is open to the public. Looks fresh and new building. Wonderful way to spend an afternoon & the wine drink special did not hurt! Waitress and staff were so friendly I would come back !

I have to travel to get here, but it's certainly worth it. A jewel of a destination-out of the way, tucked away, gated, but open to the public. Wonderful ambience, top-notch service and meals cooked just how you want them. Have to give a shout out to the manager Samantha; she was very attentive and made sure my meal was perfect.

The patio seating buy the water feature set the stage for a lovely meal. The squash carpaccio was a surprise with bold flavors that went well together, recommended. Entrees we’re on point (ribeye, salmon), and the service fit the bill for a great restaurant like the Foundry.

Food, drinks, wait time, staff, cleanliness…all 10/10. Love seeing regulars greeted by name! The food was fresh, perfectly prepared and delicious! The staff were all attentive without being overbearing. Hadleigh was the sweetest! I loved enjoying an entire meal without feeling rushed. Already have made plans to return next week!! Perfect hidden Lake Norman gem!!

Great facility, atmosphere, food and service. We will definitely return.
