Vian City Lake Trail

I participated in the Hilltop Run at Lake Vian. I traveled around that lake for 15 hours consecutively. What a beautiful place. The sunrise and sunset were gorgeous. The trails are pristine and the view from the top of the hill is worth the climb. Can’t wait to go back. This time maybe just for a nice walk.

Clean and beautiful. Paved easy to walk trails. Lots of birds for the bird watchers. Didn't fish but saw a few fishermen. No playground

Good mix of 2+ miles of paved and 7+ miles dirt trails great for running, walking, hiking, biking. No motorized vehicles are allowed on the trails. Nice overlook of the Lake Vian at the top of the hill. Lots of wildlife at dawn/dusk: ducks, geese, squirrels, rabbits, deer, chipmunks, birds, and beaver. Public toilets during non-freezing times of the year. Two pavilions available for party or gathering place in the shade, and a few grills and picnic tables. Cable suspension bridge on northern part of the lake. Benches along the paved walking trail. Lake is perfect size for kayaking - not too big not too small. Excellent place for a family fun day outside. Dirt trails also have wooden bridge mountain bike features. Have met visitors from all over the U.S. who stop by this park. Part of the annual Lake Vian Trail Run course passes through the paved walking trail around the lake, as well as Lake Vian Hilltop Run endurance events.

Loved the tails! So many good views and all the signs showing what types of trees you were looking at was amazing. Also enjoyed the memorial benches and picnic areas. Wish we had a park like this back home.

They are working to make these trails better everyday really nice place Stepping it up on the mountain bike trails

Great ,paved trails

I absolute loved that place, I passed by the lake because, I deliver @ post offices for Amazon and when I glanced at the lake I hurry told my partner to stop by and let me tell you it was such a beautiful scenery 😻

Great place to be outdoors. The bike trails are awesome and growing all the time. Excited to see the new features. Thank you for the t shirts we found after our ride today. They will be worn proudly. Until the next ride.

A beautifully paved route around the lake and around the park. I was to guess the distance around it would be in the neighborhood of two to two and a half miles. There are also mountain biking trails; great for MTB bikes or other off road bicycles.

Excellent place to walk and jog on its paved trail.

Superb mountain bike trails! We especially love the fast and flowy sections and the table top jumps!

Vian City Lake is without a doubt one of the nicest small municipal lakes in the state. It's just a lovely place to stop for a bit, walk a dog, fish, or hike.

beautiful park/lake area. we didn't really stay long, just long enough to catch a fish but i loved it. i hope to go back again in the future.

My wife and I Iove this park and it’s trails. It has beautiful scenery and is a great place to walk.

Cute, clean trails. Dog friendly. Well maintained. Great stop if your RVing and need a quick stop for the pups!

Very nice and clean a good place for outdoor activities only thing is it don't have a playing area for the younger kids
