Marval Resort

Marval is a beautiful place! We had a blast with all of the Halloween activities, the Halloween dance is the cutest thing ever and absolutely perfect! Marval is a very up kept place it's so clean and well maintained! The staff are extremely friendly and will help you with anything you need! I will definitely be coming back!

We pulled our camper out to Marval and spent 2 fun filled days and nights. We went mostly for the fly fishing and the chance to try out our new camper in a safe place. But, if you have kids, this is the place to go. They have a playground, a big bounce area, swimming pools and of course, fishing. This is a safe place to turn the kids loose and let them run, bike and play. The only word of caution I’ll give you is to steer clear of the pizza shop in the resort. It’s overpriced and not great. If you want pizza, Gambino’s delivers. That’s a much better option. Over all, the resort is well maintained, clean and safe. There is never any shortage of activities for families, the trout fishing is usually pretty good and the staff is super friendly and helpful.

Place is a lot bigger than we thought. It’s jammed packed for people to be there. If you are looking for a fun time with other campers, this is the place. Still quiet and almost every site was booked. IN NOVEMBER TOO. Two pools, basketball courts, go carts, golf carts, fishing, bounce area, playground, drive in theatre, mini golf. We will be back, that’s for sure, plus I need to get a shirt too, they didn’t have my size lol! Bathrooms were very clean, and employees drive around checking on things.

From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the fantastic amenities and warm hospitality.

First of all, the mini golf course here is an absolute blast! It's well-maintained and perfect for some friendly competition with friends or family. The activity center is a hidden gem – I spent hours there painting pottery and creating tie-dye masterpieces. It's not just an activity; it's a memorable experience.

Speaking of activities, there's always something to do here. The variety of options means you can never get bored. Whether you want to relax by the pools, take a dip, or challenge yourself on the mini golf course, the choices are endless.

Floating down the river is an absolute must-do! The scenic beauty is breathtaking, and the cool water is a welcome escape from the summer heat. It's a tranquil and picturesque experience you won't want to miss.

But what truly sets this place apart is the staff. They're incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their dedication to making your stay enjoyable is evident in every interaction.

We really enjoyed our stay with Marval Resort in Gore, OK. It's so nice and quiet the whole time we were there. The cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable and the scenery from it couldn't have been better. Check in was simple and quick and the staff were all great. This was our first stay here at the resort. It was one if the better rv parks we have been to over the years. They had a lot of activities for the kids to do. I recommend renting a golf cart. We had fun just driving that around. Also the kids really enjoyed the activities room making tie-die shirts and painting ceramics.

This year we celebrated our 70th family Reunion at Marvel.
Our cabin was clean, cool, and secure as expected.
The Clubhouse was cool inside too.
Marvel is an easy drive from home, has a nice location on the river excellent upgrades and patient friendly staff.
Suitable for all ages, ability levels, and provides a great afternoon nap even if that wasn't my intention.
Love it every year!

My family absolutely adores Marval. We’ve hosted a family reunion here every year for the last 15 plus years. In the past (4+ years ago), management left something to be desired. The newer management has really changed that. They are kind and helpful and make the entire experience so fun. Our 6 year old son begs to come more often. The ceramic painting, water wars, pools, river floating, playgrounds, etc. all provide plenty of safe and run distraction for a kid who is always running. So happy to have this place to come to!

We have been to Marval for years and it’s is always a great experience. I am writing this review specifically for Brandon with the maintenance dept. He was very willing to lend a hand and tools for my husband to fix the AC in our car so we were able to make it home. We are so thankful for his help! Thank you Brandon!

We had a blast!!! We go every Halloween the dance was something different this year. We love it and love seeing all the kids and parents dancing ❤❤

One of the best RV parks out there! Two swimming pools plus a neat river to swim in. The activity center was so much fun. The kids, ages 2-13 had a wonderful time on the jumping pillow, corn hole, basketball court, activities, riding their bikes, going to look for crawdads in the river. So much to do!! We did have a safety issue, the staff was on it and they do not play with people being unsafe around kids. We had the best RV neighbors. Love that they have full hookups.

This was our first time at Marval Resort and we enjoyed our stay. We got an 8 sleeper cabin and it was very clean and spacious enough. The kids loved the loft, the beds were comfy, and they provide 3 pillows with each of the 4 beds which all had protectors on them; just had to bring sheets, blankets, and pillow cases. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, I would suggest you bring your own knife if you think you'll need it since the one they provided was very dull. The golf cart is nice to get around the campground. The river is frigid, but we still enjoyed it. We did drive about an hour to Tahlequa and we enjoyed that river more because of the warmer temp.

Our family reunion at Marvel Resort was awesome. Our cabin was nice, and there was so much to do! The foam party was great! Free outside movies with Popcorn. The jump pad was just like a huge trampoline! The only negative was our pavillion was outside because the air conditioned inside ones are booked a year in advance. This doesn't give anyone else a chance to book it. Also, all the golf carts were rented in advance so none were available. We'll be sure and rent one when we book our cabin next time. I'm definitely coming back next year!

Had a great family trip to Marval Resort. So much to do and great location! Fishing, river floating, pools, movie night, special events on the weekends, etc. Best of all though is the friendliness of the staff. Will definitely be back.

I had some trouble with a slide on my fifth wheel. Brandon, who works at marval came to my campsite and disconnected the roll topper so I could extend my slide and reconnected it when I got ready to leave. Way beyond what was expected. Tried to pay him but he refused. Super friendly and nice. I’ll definitely be back to this rv park. Kid friendly, nice pools and super nice people. 5 star service

We have been camping at Marval since 1985 when Marvin and Valerie owned the campground. Since they sold it there have been many changes in management, some good and some not so much. In our opinion, Janey ranks at the top. She has succeeded in attending to the small details that make the campground great despite the endless problems that arise running a fairly large operation. She appears to have the right temperament to deal with the wide range of customers at this campground. Dispute the fairly large increase in price for seasonal campers we feel she makes the increase worth by her attention to detail.

spent our anniversary there in the honeymoon cabin. what a great get away. Love the hot tub in the room with fire place. Ready for a return trip. What we seen of the entire place it great rather you get a cabin, bring your rv, or get a tent site. This place leaves you lots of option. cabins you can get on the river or near woods. same with the tent or rv sites. even have places you can go just for a day out. Plus renting canoes or rafts, Plus has washer and dryers for use along with places you can have family gatherings. Plus we saw a movie in there outdoor theater.

Camped here with our camper twice now and will definately be returning. Have already reserved a campsite in October. This is a great place for camping in a very family friendly resort. Lots of activities for kids, several playgrounds, 2 pools, jumping pillow, and activities center where kids can do tyedying and other crafts. Shower facilities are clean with lots of hot water. They even have washer and dryers available. Some sites are right on the river and all sites are close enough to walk to. Fishing and playing in river are other activities to enjoy. We visited over 4th of July and had a blast. All staff are helpful and accommodating. The maintenance man bent over backwards to be helpful. We needed help with a bicycle repair issue and when my husband asked them for a wrench (to bend the bikes wheel tines back into place) the gentleman insisted on taking the bike to their maintenance area and helping my husband. At the office we asked for a ride to the dam so that we could float the river back to the campsite. They didn't have a ride service but recommended FetchGirl. We called FetchGirl on her day off, but she kindly accommodated us, even making two trips to the dam to drop off all of us. FetchGirl even had a portable compressor to blow up our tubes! She was a delight to visit with and would definately recommend her services. Can't say enough good things about her or Marval Resort.

We rented a small cabin for a week. It was quiet and peaceful. Will definitely be back.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Between the 3 families we had 3 camp sites and was there for 10 days. The camp sites were level and had easy set up. The shower/bath houses, laundry and pools were all very clean and well maintained. Our kids all had an absolute blast and us partners had a relaxing week. 5 out of 5 would highly recommend!
