FANTASTIC experience working with them. Our daughter was so self conscious trying on all the dresses, overwhelmed and ready to give up. Jana was so gentle, encouraging and great with her. Could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you!

Great place with even better selection. I love how the Glory Girls spend all their time 1-on-1 with you making suggestions and zipping you up! Super helpful to have someone who knows what's on the rack with you!

Holy butts did I enjoy the dress I purchased and the worker that assisted me through the whole process, but holy cow was the manager/owner rude throughout the whole process. I had a better experience than my so called “plus sized” friends that went with me but I believe that was strictly because i could fit into a smaller size. I will restate that the girl who assisted me was extremely nice and helpful. However, the manager (desk lady) was very insensitive. She continuously made comments towards my friends that seriously impacted the way they viewed the dresses they tried on and the experience as a whole. She made a comment that one of my friends shouldn’t try on a dress because it wouldn’t fit her(even though it was her size.) She also continuously made comments that we “should have come with our moms” because “they would have kept us in our price range.” This was extremely insensitive as she doesn’t know our backgrounds and doesn’t know how that could affect who she is saying it to. She also continuously removed dresses from my rack that I wanted to try on as they were out of my price range, even though I told her I could go more expensive than $500 if i fell in love with it. Even after she had a bad experience, my friend still wanted to tip the girl that had helped her out, and was essentially being discouraged from it as they “pay their workers enough, not like a restaurant.” This was overall an experience that was made better by the workers and the dresses, however we drove almost three hours to try out a new store, and this was the experience. Glory prom needs to do better on customer service, especially towards “plus sized” girls to ensure that they don’t make an already stressful process even more difficult.
-P.S. we are walking in to give you money, you might want to be nice to paying customers.

take a seat, grab a snack. this one is going to be a long one. okay first, i loved the girls there. they were so sweet and made me feel welcome. they helped me feel comfortable in my own body. they were very understanding about my budget. my girl listened to my color choices and did well.

second, the owner was completely audacious. she walked into my dressing room when i wasn't fully clothed. she did not make me feel comfortable in my body. she judged my price range and was very inconsiderate. i was having a hard time because i am "plus sized." they had barley any good dresses in my size. when i was trying on one i asked my sister to zip it up because i was comfortable with her. the lady rudely walked in and said she wasn't allowed to. i was stressed and felt like i was going to cry. she then proceeded to walk up to my friends and tell them out loud that i was about to cry. there were other people around which made me feel really embarrassed.

my friends got a dress, but i didn't due to the lack of choices for my size.

dear owner/manager of glory. the next time someone walks into your store to give you money be nicer about it. karma is really bad at kicking you in the butt. :)

So to start off the girls and workers there were very lovely. The girl who helped me was very nice and helped zipped me up without any issue. I really liked them hyping me up and making me feel comfortable. The thing that I did not like was the manager/owner. She was very rude to me and my other friends. She kept walking into dressing rooms when we were not fully dressed. She told me that I could not fit something when It was in my size. She also kept telling us that our moms should be there with us It was very insensitive considering one of our mothers was in the hospital. Another thing was that she kept pulling out the expensive dresses we wanted even though we brought the money. She made rude comments through out and rushed us although we had made appointments a month in advance. A few of my favorite phrases she used were, "let's give her a break she looks sad like she's about to cry." "Sorry sweetie that looks like it wouldn't fit you." "If you can't zip it then size up." and All and all the girls who worked there were great but the older lady was extremely rude and all three of my friends and I will NOT be returning.
