If you get "The Flight" family meal you get everything.

Each meat was tender, juicy, and delicious. The sides are outstanding, jalapeño corn was my favorite. Dont forget some Nana pudding and cobbler for dessert. We brought home enough for another meal.

Beautiful country drive to get there. The atmosphere is friendly and fun. Bring the family and get out there.

The first time we ever came to the Feedlot, it was dark, and we were following Google Maps. Y'all. When I tell you that driving along the absolute pitch black of the winding back country road I heard the banjos playing and my ancestors whispered in my ear to turn back before I died, believe me that we were questioning our decision to eat at this place. But when we finally rounded that last turn and saw the burning beacon of light from this amazing place, it was a welcoming sight indeed! We parked in the muddy field and made our way to the door, passing delighted children playing with happy, wet, muddy farm dogs, entering a plesant and well designed lobby where you enter a queue to get to the counter to order your food. We ordered the 'flight', which was essentially some of every side and every meant they were serving that night. Turkey, chicken, sausage, brisket, barbecue, ribs, slaw, potato salad, some sort of hash brown casserole, an almost creamed corn, mac&cheese, baked beans and I don't know whatall else. My husband & teenage son got the meat sweats just watching them slap all those meats on a big heat lamp cutting board and slice them right in front of them. The price varies some for the flight because they weigh each meat portion. We had 3 adults and 2 children in our party and it was about $90. (after eating ourselves into a meat coma, we took 2 to-go containers home and ate on it for another couple of meals) Then we carried our meat tray, etc to the condiment/drink station where various sauces can be poured out of what looks like giant sweet tea containers, sliced white bread, pickles, and other condiments are available, along with plates and plastic silverware. You then leave that area and enter a barn where there are various seating arrangements (long tables, booths, 4 tops) with a giant fireplace at one end and a stage at the other. Each time we have been, there has been live music of the country variety. It is a BYOB place (I don't know all the rules pertaining to this), and some people bring coolers in with them. It is loud and enjoyable. The farm dogs wander in and out and will happily take scraps. I don't know if this is encouraged by the owners, but if it isn't, it is an oft broken rule. The dress is casual, and I recommend you dress warmly if it is cold outside. I highly recommend this place for the food and for the fun!

Great food. The brisket is one of the best we've ever had. The pulled pork was above average too. All the sides we ordered were good too (beans, Cole slaw, Texas Tater Tot casserole, and Mac n cheese). It took a little longer to go through the line than preferred, but the food was worth the wait. If you don't come early or late, then you may want to bring some folding chairs as tables were hard to come by after ordering. The live music was a nice touch too.

If they weren't so far away I would probably eat here every weekend. Best BBQ we have found in Tennessee! Ribs were off the chain! Brisket was super moist, tender and juicy. We are actually returning this weekend with some more friends. The sides were also delious. Everything was homemade I think. Loved the potato casserole they had and they serve generous portions.

The food was great! Country setting with beautiful views. Live music tonight, however I’m not sure if they have live music each weekend. We ordered the pork sandwich and the Stella. I had them put the pork on the side for the Stella instead of on it. The pimento cheese could be a sandwich by itself. Give it a try, I think you’ll enjoy it!

Love this place! We arrived right at opening on Friday. Big, open, easy ordering and very clean. Got the flight to try everything and a couple cold sides. The BBQ was excellent. All the hot sides were twists on normal sides, and all were hits with us. Most restaurants make terrible mac & cheese, here they got it right.

The seating was fun. Big fireplace and a nice fire going went great with the rain falling outside. Great views and animals roaming around was also comforting. The staff made frequent rounds checking on everyone. Very friendly and attentive to everyone.

Loved the big sink by the individual bathroom stalls. Great for post BBQ cleaning.

We left before the live music started and I'm sad that we couldn't stay and hear them.

Saw a lot of coolers and the BYOB situation. I'll remember that for next time.

51 yr old well traveled Fatboy here. This is the best BBQ I've ever had, ever. The brisket was insanely good. The 3 sides I had were tater tot casserole, peach baked beans, and the jalapeño creamed corn. I've attached a picture if you'd like to see the food equivalent of the Grand Canyon at sunset. The girl taking the order was also really genuinely nice. Not nice ina " I'm paid to be nice " way but nice because she evidently likes her job. That's a great thing for any restaurant. My only regret is driving a sports car down there because you park in a field. It's a beautiful area not too far from I-75

Where to even begin ... setting is scenic, calm, and serene. Beautiful natural surroundings provide a perfect backdrop for a fantastic evening spent with family and friends with mouth-watering food. If you're looking for a way to relax with some live music on a Friday or Saturday evening while dining on some of the best smoked meats and delectable sides with a flavorful twist, then this should be at the top of your list. Bring your appetite and prepare to enjoy some of the best ribs and brisket you've ever tasted. Definitely add jalapeño cream corn as a side dish to go with your entrée; however, the baked beans with peaches or the tater tot casserole are solid choices also. Plenty of seating and parking. Can bring your own drinks too. Check their calendar page on the website or their Facebook page for upcoming events and special activities.

This is the perfect place to unwind, have some awesome food with great service in a nice atmosphere.

We found Smokin F BBQ & Feedlot a true gem. We had a baked potato loaded with smoke chicken that I was barely able to finish. It was delicious. Had chicken wings that had a dry rub that I enjoyed although my wife thought on the Salty side. She had a half rack of ribs that she loved. Brought home wings and ribs to eat the next day. Portions are very good size. Service was excellent. Attendants constantly clearing off trays and trash for you and making sure you were happy and content. Facility was very family friendly and live music to add made it an excellent night.

Long line from time the door opened. Order at counter and take your food to the table, no wait. Large dining area and outdoor seating available. Live music when we were there. Middle of nowhere (almost). Couple landed their helicopter out back to come for dinner.

We chose Smokin' F for our wedding reception and we're so glad that we did. Not only did we feed nearly 200 people for a reasonable price, but we enjoyed every bite. Guests left full and singing the praises of the pulled pork, peach baked beans, potato salad, and slaw! They also lent us a cooler for our cold sides, which was incredibly helpful. Thanks, Smokin' F for going above and beyond and serving delicious food. Highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic place to visit for AMAZING food and live music! The owners are very friendly and involved in every aspect of the business. They also have a good truck that is worth the pit stop when you see it! Did I mention the food?! 🤤

This is amazing bbq. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable and the atmosphere is great with the live music. Everything we ate was delicious. Definitely would recommend!

We drive from Chattanooga about once a month and have brought multiple friends with us to try this amazing food and enjoy this beautiful atmosphere and no one has been disappointed. Y'all never change this! But if you wanna find a farm closer to Chattanooga and open one I wouldn't be mad!!

Great new place in Philadelphia,TN. Excellent BBQ served up food line style. Brand new open air food pavilion with stage for live music and entertainment. Will be back to try things I didn't try the first time.

Incredible venue! Food was EXCELLENT!!! It was like a personal visit from God! Jay and the friendly staff make you feel like coming home to a family reunion! Hoping to talk my wife into going back tomorrow night!

Best brisket ever and all the food is amazing. Perfect for date night. Music isn't too loud and always talented local musicians playing.
