Roane County Park

Very nice and clean park! Me and my wife met up here when we was temporarily separated and talked things out and I brought my dog and took pictures of her with my dog and this has become my favorite park because this was the park where I got my wife back. This is now one of my core memories and I'll never not be grateful for this park. Also good for birthday parties! Too bad the lake doesnt allow dogs though unless it's a service dog.

We love this park. It is so taken care of. Our grandchildren love this park for the playground, fishing, and the trails. While they play, we can use the exercise equipment that outlines the playground. When they are done playing , we do a family round of corn hole. The restrooms are always clean. The park is dog friendly, and it's a great place for family picnics. Undercover or by yhe lake. When it's just my husband and I, we use the tennis courts. During the holidays, they decorate part of the trail near the playground. We all enjoy ! Highly recommended!

Awesome park, splash pad and lake swim area. There is a beautiful flower garden now too. My kids love it here

Great Park!

Just like the other reviews said, this is a great park with something for everyone.

At least 3 nice playgrounds for the kids, (one even has a sand pit stocked with toys that stay!)

They have a large beach/swimming area in the lake right next to a chlorinated splash pad that was great to transition from the lake.

Next to that are large bathrooms with changing areas and picnic pavilions.

There's ample shore and Pier fishing where my husband caught a nice bass! (As most lakes have advisories for bass we only catch and release, but it's still fun!)

There are also nice walking paths throughout the park.

The park is huge and even on Sunday (typically crowded elsewhere like The Cove at Concord) there was plenty of room to spread out and relax.

We have been searching for a new, quieter, happy spot and think we finally found it.

We will be back!

Beautiful lakeside park! It has a playground for kids, over a mile of paved walking trails, and a launching point for kayaking and canoeing. There are several areas for parking, and it is free to the public.

This is a really nice and well maintained park with tons of amenities, to include fishing piers, playgrounds, pavilions, many picnic tables, boat rentals, a greenway and swimming area.

There's a tennis court at the main entrance, benches along the greenway, a disc golf course, garden areas and shade trees galore.

I also met some really cool dog lover peeps.

Pretty good county Park we stopped at to let the kids blow of steam when driving through. They had decent restrooms and large playground and a lake. We saw signs for beach access, but didn't visit that section of the park. Definitely a gem to have nearby.

This is a great park for walking, disc golf, swimming, splash play, and more. There's plenty of areas to fish and kayak launch areas. Roane county park does a great job with maintenance as well.

Took my grandkids fishing on a Sunday afternoon had the whole fishing dock to ourselves, and we actually caught quite a few fish. The kids had a great time as catching fish always makes it more exciting they can't wait to go again

Beautiful park! It's dog- friendly and has lots of playground equipment (aka fun stuff) for kids. Has a great splashpark as well. Lots to do! Highly recommend!

Roane county Park is this county's best place to have birthday parties to go swimming to walk the footpaths feed the ducks or just to relax by the water there's also plenty of parking covered picnic tables barbecue pits tennis courts and everything you want to do on a hot summer day with you and your family

It was a blast for my little ones. Love that there are 3 separate play grounds a big one medium one and a small one .many pavillions so sit and relax and have a snack. We love the splash pad for the kids and it's nice that the swimming area is free we also like letting the little ones fish off the fishing area but you don't catch much. Theres also a frisbee golf course I've never done it but it looks fun.

Beautiful local park with various areas for kids to play! The park offers docks for fishing, a track for walking/running, tennis courts, disc golf, splash pad in the summer, and swimming area in the lake.

Great Park with multiple playgrounds and wide open spaces. Right in the water with plenty to explore. The splash park was perfect for our 4 year old. Great little rest stop off of Rt 40.

Large, quiet with plenty of play area as well as boating, swimming and fishing. Clean and we'll kept. Lots of trees!

This is a nice park! It has a nice walking path, frisbee golf, swimming, tennis courts and shelters for rent I believe. In the fall the leaves are fantastic!! Because the park is so large, I've never been here when it's over crowded, which is nice.

Very welcoming place! Lots of different things to do. Swimming area is outlined by pipe. Splash pad is fun for younger ones. Flying disc course. Fishing areas. Walking trail. Pavilion Picnic areas. Grills. Playground areas. Park benches. Different kinds of birds and squirrels and Chipmunks.

Absolutely gorgeous! My kids throughly enjoyed it. Next time I'm in town visiting it will be our first stop
