GREAT GREAT GREAT. We found this place a few mi it as off the interstate. BEST fried clam strips ever with Homemade batter we ate as an appetizer. Note : catfish fried in same batter, not traditional corn meal, but it was great! Coleslaw & Potato salad has a very untraditional yet refreshing taste for this area. Blackened jumbo shrimp best ever. Steak cooked well and as soft as a ball of cotton !!!!! Fries and corn muffins great! All served on metal trays.

We had the opportunity to visit Z Fish House last evening and had a marvelous meal. The fried oysters were flavorful and the batter was light and flakey. The serving was so large, that I took a couple home with me, along with the hush puppies and slaw. Great meal! My wife had the grilled scallops, risotto and green beans. She has ordered this dish before and it seems to get better every time. Our server, Mariah, was a delight. Her welcoming spirit and attention to detail was perfect - always checking on us but not intrusive. She helped to make the evening a #1 experience! If you haven't tried this little gem of a restaurant, you are missing one of the joys that the culinary world has to offer.

We ate here for the first time. A friend reccomended it. It was a nice setting with friendly service. I’m bad with names but the lady we encountered when we came in wearing the dress was so nice An helpful on explaining things that was on the menu. I had some question about the dishes. I’m a very picky eater. I had the herb chicken with corn hash An mashed potatoes. My son ordered coconut shrimp with fries instead of the sides that came with it. My bf ordered the seafood dip. He loved it had a smoked flavor An made with 3 different fish. Our server was so nice to. Cudos to the chef who done a great job. Food came quicker then we expected witg huge portions.

Wonderful little place! Friendly and attentive staff, amazing food and very reasonable prices make this a great eatery. Prices include the food, choice of 2 sides and a drink, which makes the listed prices, not low, but surely reasonable. I had blackened Mahi-Mahi that was tasty, but not too spicy. The side dishes are pretty much full-sized so the amount of food is quite filling. I had the banana Foster for dessert and it was delicious as well. Great find!

If you are looking for a restaurant with amazing food this is the place to go. I've been to many seafood restaurants but I've never had catfish as good as what they have here. The atmosphere isn't the best but their food more than makes up for it. Please stop by and support this small business. You won't be disappointed.

When you think of seafood, cities such as Pensacola, Charleston, Savannah, and others come to mind. You can add Loudon to that list, thanks to Z Fish House. I've eaten at a number of really good seafood restaurants, and I'm pleased to say that Z Fish House is definitely one of them. The entire staff was very welcoming. Our server, Katey, was a total delight. I ordered a cup of lobster bisque, which was incredibly flavorful. For the main dish, I had fried shrimp, coleslaw, fries, and hushpuppies. Everything was excellent. I would highly recommend Z Fish House without hesitation to anyone looking for a fantastic all-around seafood dining experience.

In the small TN town of Loudon is a very good seafood restaurant. The inspection score 99. The seafood very good along with slaw with pineapple. Please ck out the daily special board that is pictured here. I had red snapper. And it was a nice portion too.

Excellent food and quiant little location. The cuisine was amazing down to the sides and ingredients. Dont miss a chance to get some fresh seafood from here, being from Florida myself I always try to find as fresh possible. And that's exactly what you get here! Will be back soon. Also pro tip: the clam chowder is the best I've had outside of New England so make sure you start off with that

We ordered the grouper po' boy and the fried shrimp po'boy. Best we've had in Tennessee. Buttery, toasted, warm bread, fresh catch- not mushy-, and delicious sides of seasoned fries, coleslaw (vinegar/mayo based), and veggie of the day- today's was summer squash with onions and zucchini. Free beverages come with every meal. Helpful servers and clean. Stop by for a delicious lunch!

I'm updating my review The restaurant has gone from four stars to five in my mind. Best calamari in Tennessee. Clam chowder was incredible. I need to come back and try the lobster roll. Keep up the great work!

After seeing your episode on Restaurant Impossible we just had to stop we and just want to say that the food was absolutely OUTSTANDING to say the least. We had us and my parents and it was the most fantastic food we have had in a very long time. The shrimp and grits and the chowders were so beautifully seasoned and the staff was so pleasant. We will def be back :) I can't thank you enough for such a wonderful meal.

Driven by this restaurant hundreds of times. Never once thought to stop, seafood isn't my first option for dinning. Watched the episode of Restaurant Impossible, I make it a point to visit locations from the show.

Me and my family will be going back to this restaurant.

The food was very flavorful and well prepared. Staff was friendly, pay attention to the specials board. Parking can be difficult if they are busy, and you might drive by it if you're not paying attention.

For me portion size was on the larger side. I would have gladly paid the same for a portion almost half the size. (Coconut Crispy Fish, and Steak Dianne) (Crispy Sesame Shrimp was a good portion size) Also if management sees this, have the lighting on. The windows do provide plenty of light, but the ambiance was totally changed for the better when the lights were eventually turned on.

Went for dinner for the first time tonight. They had a limited menu and some other items on the nightly special. We had the scallop chowder, fried calamari, jambalaya, grilled founder and coconut fish. Everything was DELICIOUS. The restaurant is currently having limited hours a few days a week so I am glad we were able to make it in tonight. We drove 45 minutes and it was well worth it. They don't serve alcohol or beer but we saw quite a few tables that bought their own bottles of wine. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for fresh fish and seafood in E. Tennessee!

We had a fantastic meal at Z Fish House this evening. Calamari was delicious, and every part of our meal was wonderful. Service was great and we will definitely be returning. We moved from Louisiana, and have to say it was the best seafood we’ve had in the two years we’ve lived here!

Always very good. The soups are excellent. Three people had the conch chowder and I had the New England clam chowder. Never a disappointment when we go there. The food is always freshly made when you order it. The hush puppies are excellent! Everything is great there!

I know I wasn't here for about over a month. But I posted a 5 star review because mainly I have to say that the owners are great people. My family (the owner may know them) always love to eat here. I got there trout one day and I loved it. I also love how one of the owners would like to have a quick chat with my grandfather (his name is John) and I just love to see that sorta communication between owners and customers. I will be back whenever I can.

Had a friend recommend the restaurant and we were not disappointed. Very tight menu, everything fresh and wonderful. You can bring your own wine and they also offer 10% cash discount. Had the swordfish that was fantastic, also the Crispy sesame shrimp appetizer and the Creamy Manhattan scallop chowder. Wish I could post a picture of that, it looks as good as it tastes. Robert Irvine filmed a recent Restaurant Impossible episode there that should air soon, excited to see it. Chef Ed is a wiz.

It was very good quality catfish we got potato salad was good, it is not the mayonnaise type everyone is used to. Good tarter sauce. Excellent grilled zucchini, squash and onions. The tea was well brewed. Good service! Look forward to dine there again soon!

A little wait on a Saturday night, but oh my was it worth it! From the salads, we had the Thai and caprese, to the portions of seafood... So yum! Redneck surf and turf hubby's favorite, I had the captain's platter... So much food! Ribs were terrific, clam strips were the size of chicken fingers, seasoning perfect. So glad we stopped and stayed at what will be a new destination 😃 taking dessert home 😁

We had dinner last evening with two other couples. It was the first time since the renovation. We ordered 4 different entrees all of which were outstanding. Service was very good. I highly recommend Z Fish House and will definitely go back. Be aware that It is currently open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 5-8.
