Loudon County Clerk

Went to the Loudon County Clerk’s office to get license plates changed over to TN. The lady at the window was very respectful, knowledgeable and helpful. She had me in and out in no time and even let me handle my wife’s license plate the next day since she was at work and couldn’t make it. Very refreshing to have nice city and county employees here!

Oh my gosh!! Gladys was the best!! We needed to register a boat with two owners, transferring from the original owner. She knew exactly what to do; she was patient and carefully walked us through the process; and she was quick. We were impressed with her professionalism and kindness.

The three women working today 9/8/23 were phenomenal. Finally government employees who don’t hate their job and aren’t jerks. They helped me switch my name on all 97 of my titles and gave me info to change my boat. Great job ladies! Thank you for bringing sunshine to my day

Regardless of any other experiences you may have had with a government agency, the Loudon County Clerk's office is the epitome of superb customer service and assistance. After moving to Lenoir City from another state, this office was a tremendous help with regard to registering our vehicles and providing direction for the registration of my (self employed) business. I have had the good fortune of interacting with Gladys Catota in this office. There was a complicated issue with having the title of my vehicle transferred to Tennessee. Gladys took the extra time and made the effort to ensure that my issue was addressed by all of the other parties involved. She is phenomenal. Whenever you have the opportunity, visit the Loudon County Clerk's office to tell them "Thank You"!

I was overwhelming myself and overcomplicating things about getting my tags switched over from another state. the ladies in there were super nice, Gladys helped me and was incredibly kind in helping me get things switched over even when she could tell I was frustrated. She saved me from having to take a trip 30 min out of my way.

unlike the DMV in most towns, this place offer quick profession service. Usually not a line, but if there is, it will be a short wait.

When I called this office with questions about starting a new business and also when I went here in person they were the sweetest most helpful people! So pleasant and easy to work with.

I was very worried about going to the clerk's office. I'm from NYC, and anything doing with the DMV was always a horror story.
Not in Loudon. Gladys was a dream to work with, got me easily through the process of registering my car, and gave me information for my parents to do the same. When someone else got in line behind me, another employee came to the window to help, so there was little to no wait time.
Yet more proof that I made the right choice to move to Tennessee.

I called to inquire about the status of a business license renewal. If you are familiar with this you know that since the state took over the renewal process (I work for a company who has several licenses in several different cities/counties) that it has been a nightmare. I spoke to Tammy at the Clerk's office and she was EXTREMELY helpful and after putting me on hold to contact the state, she had the issue resolved within minutes. (The problem was on the state side of things, as is normally the case and not mine or the Loudon County Clerk's office ). I know that since the state took this over, that many city/county clerks have had their hands full and I appreciate Tammy's professionalism and help so much.

The staff at the drive thru are great. They were very efficient and patient with me when I needed help.

Every time I have had a need to stop by this office for either car tags, boat registrations, trailer tags or business licenses, everyone at this office has been extremely over the top helpful. This is customer service at the highest level.

Easiest and quickest license services I've ever used! No wait, it's like a miracle for DMV services.
