Cecilia was a fantastic server- the food was out promptly, and very good- the green sauce with the chips was phenomenal, and exactly as I remembered from my childhood. The management checked on us several times, even getting us refills when we'd forgotten to ask. Everyone was genuinely friendly and great

Love this place. We've had 1 issue with a server not being attentive and never came to check on anyone. We literally had to get up from the table to refill our own drinks and chips. The guy servers are the most attentive! 👌 Food is usually spot on with what we like to get, and we know when they have a new cook! Great place!

The food and drinks took a little longer than what I would expect based on the crowd.
The food was cooked a little more on the done side which is exactly how I like it.
I liked the red salsa better, which is unusual for me.

What a delightful little place! A flight of margaritas was only $5.99 and it was fun to try a few different flavors. The food was hot and fresh and the sopapillas were the freshest, most delicious sopapillas we’ve ever had! Rayden was our server and he was so friendly and helpful. 5 stars all around!!

First of all our waiter was so sweet and made my sister and I not want for nothing!! So attentive and thoughtful. The food was great and we enjoyed it very much. We hope the restaurant stays there forever !!

We had dinner at little Mexico today in Alvin Tx. Very friendly atmosphere with the staff especially the manger we believe his name is Jose very friendly and very helpful. Awesome place.

We have had lunch several times and every time Manny and his crew has been AWESOME. A big shout out to them all. …and the food is always delicious!

We went last night for my Birthday, and the staff was amazing and the food never disappoints. Our waiter Rayden was funny and on top of it. Great job Montereys.

This is a restaurant that has been a part of my family's life for as long as I can remember. As a young child the only other Mexican restaurant I would go to in Alvin was the Mexican Village owned by the Esquivels. If they were closed or unavailable for us, we'd go here. And we've loved it forever. You can't go wrong the food is great the service is great and the atmosphere is great.

Manny the manager is always a great! My job orders every payroll day because the great food and customer service he provides and his staff!

Now this restaurant has got it all !!! GREAT FOOD GREAT DRINKS and GREAT STAFF! I always order the Shrimp Crawfish Spinach Dip to start. It's an appetizer but it's so good that I have ordered 2 orders of it and have eaten it as my entree on several occasions now. It's really that good!

Always fun going here. The tamales were delicious. The Taco salad was very tasty. The short ribs were amazing. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. Always refilled our drinks without being asked to and gave us to go cups when we left. Bathrooms were very clean. The restaurant was clean.

The food was a good value and tasted good. Our server was on of the best i have had in a long time. I never had an empty drink and our food came out fast. We will be back and probably very soon.

The food tasted the same as the old Monterey House. It was a nice trip back in time. Our waitperson, Denver, was absolutely amazing. She was the absolute best. When you're there Monday through Thursday, be sure to try the $1.99 margarita; they're delicious. When you're in Alvin, this is a pleasant place to stop in for a snack, full meal, and a good margarita. The cheese enchiladas are one of my favorites.
