Came here on a Saturday for lunch while driving through town. Really wanted a great burger and that’s exactly what I got. The 428 burger was super tasty -Wagyu beef and I added the fried egg and avocado. Delicious! Enjoyed hearing about the history of this cool building too, if you dine here make sure to ask! The doors in the ceiling added an interesting twist. Also our server Corgi was super friendly and attentive, made the meal that much better. Definitely recommend!

I was in from out of town for an appointment and Googled "best lunch in Woodland." Kitchen 428 was the top result, so I took a chance.
The building is a Victorian charmer, modernized but keeping its original aesthetic.
I was greeted cheerfully and my server, James, was attentive and provided helpful suggestions.
I ordered a "Cocktail for the Cause" which was a delightful concoction called a honey badger. My entrée, the Rainier sandwich, was delectably presented with seasoned steak fries.
Dessert was a tough choice between crème brulée and the seasonal peach and berry cobbler. I ultimately chose the cobbler and was not disappointed. It was a fitting farewell to all the best summer has to offer.
Perhaps the most charming bit was when my check was delivered tucked inside an adorable little book, which details much more color theory than one would expect from a title "The First Book of Color."
I look forward to returning on my next trip and bringing my mother to share the experience with.

Very good lunch. Service is top notch. Was blown away by burrata appetizer. Burger cooked perfectly as ordered. Cesar salad is extremely flavorful, but a little overdressed today.

We had such a great brunch. The DJ was a fun surprise and the bar tender, Kim, was phenomenal!

Ok so...I've lived in Woodland for some years and have never been here. My Husband and I decided to come here for a date night. I don't even know where to start...our servers name was Ashley. She was the top reason that we will be back. She provided excellent service. Gave us top notch recommendations, and made sure we had what we needed at all times. I have maybe ordered ribs from a restaurant once in 5 years. She highly recommended the ribs and I can't say enough great things about them. My husband had a filet mignon and cut it with his fork. Everything was phenomenal and top of the line. After meeting Ashley, we will be back, on the days she is working. She is the epitome of customer service and that will always make the difference. Thank you again Ashley and crew. We will be back!

I loved this little place. The drinks,live music, and food were amazing. I cane for the first time recently. They were having a Harry potter themed dinner. It was their 3rd year but I just found out a out it. It was absolutely epic. I can't wait to come back. Just their reg food menu was amazing! However the potter themed food and drink was just the best. To top it off,the decor and scavenger hunt. I'll be returning for this event and in general. I drove 30 mins just to enjoy this awesome place.

We planned to go somewhere else on a Sunday and they were closed. Turned out to be a good thing although we didn't think so at the time. We stumbled on this gem and we're definitely coming back! It's one street off the main strip that runs through town. It has indoor, air conditioned seating and a really nice outside patio for dining. It has nice lights and patio heaters for the dinner crowd. We went for lunch. I had a bleu cheese wedge salad that was one of the best I had (and I get them a lot). Two of us got burgers and they were both cooked perfectly to our liking. Another person ordered the Monte Cristo and commented on how fresh and flavorful it was. It was all so fresh. The 'farm to table' experience was capped off with very flavorful fruits and vegetables. The tomatoes were so flavorful I was almost suspicious! We ended by sharing a peach / berry cobbler for dessert that was so good we were on the verge of wrestling for the last bite. The service was very attentive and professional. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question we had. She wasn't afraid to make great recommendations. Put this place on your list if you want great quality food and service at a fair price. You won't be disappointed.

Nice variety at the Easter Sunday buffet, so tasty! I was very surprised that no beverage was included in the $$40 price tag.

Hidden gem just off of Main St.! It was our first time here, but it won't be our last. Great menu, something for everyone, and great service. We happened to be there while they were doing a Harry Potter event, and they also had a special menu. I definitely recommend trying it!

Great restaurant that we celebrated our 5th anniversary in. Highly recommend.

We went here after seeing a play. The atmosphere was great. We were able to hear each other and actually have a nice talk. The food was terrific as was the service.

Stopped in for lunch yesterday and had an amazing Wagyu Burger with a fried egg. I am still thinking about it. Emily was my server and was very personable and attentive. I'll be back soon.

Nice ambiance. Fancy with cloth napkins. It was expensive, the most I've ever spent on a meal for myself, but you get what you pay for. The vegan coconut curry was soooooo good. I greatly enjoyed my meal! And the service was very attentive. I would definitely go back for my next financial splurge. It's a nice place to take a date.

From my drinks to my crab cake appetizer, my perfectly seasoned and cooked Ribeye and delicious cheese cake. Thanks to Danielle and Ana for their superb customer service for this tired Wildland fire fighter.

"Best Burger in Town" they said. They are probably right. Very nice service and decor. Varied but simple menu. Wife enjoyed the Cioppino.

Nice atmosphere. Stamped steel ceiling from the '20's . Dark and cool for a hot day. We sat at a window table and watched autumn leaves tumble in the wind. Popular with regulars at lunch.

We did the Wednesday prime rib special. The small cut was more than plenty and was served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The salmon crab cakes were good as was the large green salad with the house vinaigrette. Service was excellent. We will be back.
