Panda Garden Chinese Restaurant

My wife and I have only ever ordered delivered from here but the food is always excellent and it's made without msg (at least they claim) so that's nice too. Food is reasonably priced and the delivery is pretty quick, although it does help that we live just a few miles away. All in all my wife and I always enjoy our experience ordering from here and it's one of our favorite Chinese restaurants in Thornton!

Delicious Chinese food with excellent vegetarian options. My favorites are the Kung Pao Tofu (sweet and spicy sauce with peppers and peanuts), home style tofu (fried tofu with mixed vegetables), and Tofu with mushrooms and snow peas (super healthy with soft egg like tofu). Portion sizes are fantastic even more so given the price. You can easily feed the whole family. Service is also friendly and very helpful in navigating the menu

My fav Chinese food place in Colorado. Panda Garden is everything you want it to be! Super fast delivery and quality, delicious food. They moved away from styrofoam take out containers, too, which I love. You can dine in but I usually take out. Order from here. You will be satisfied!

You are one of three restaurants that I ever eat out from in the quad cities. Being a chef of 15 years I never order out I always cook at home so that says a lot about your food… delicious! Great service service, very family oriented!!! Bravo!

FAST,... Food hot, good portion, ohh orange chicken crispy and taste great If I had it my way some veggies and a egg in the fried rice would be nice, Loved it....🔥 it got here within 15 minutes the delivery driver was great

Update: 3/22/2024 -- Ordered delivery which arrived way earlier than expected. Our orders were as fresh out the wok as they are in the restaurant. Perfect flavors, as usual.

Recently saw a cooking show where they talked about wok hei, which is the smoky flavor produced by a well-used wok. This is the clue I needed to discover why my Chinese concoctions are never as good as Panda's.

Old reviews: Chinese flavors and preparations exactly as expected, with attention to attractive presentation and freshest ingredients. We've enjoyed Panda Garden, either eat-in or take-out, at least 40 times.

We prefer their dine-in. Take out has been fine, but make the trip to their storefront to get their best work. Service is generally prompt, although timing can sometimes be a little off. The wait staff is dedicated to providing an optimal experience, and once you get to know the staff, they are down to earth, friendly, and conversational.

Our favorite dishes include walnut shrimp, orange beef, happy family, cashew chicken, and anything sweet and sour. We also enyoy the egg foo yung dishes, soups, and appetizers. The seafood chowder is amazing, one of our Covid finds when the only way we could enjoy Panda was through delivery. We also recently tried the wor wonton soup, and it's amazing, too. Soooo good!

Delivery service has been prompt, always within in an hour. After the food arrives, we usually nuke the soup to make sure it's super hot and pop the eggrolls and fried shrimp into the air fryer for a minute or two. The main courses have always arrived warm enough to enjoy with no "help."

All in all, great food, good service, and always a pleasant experience.

Update: 4/1/2023 -- Another excellent meal at Panda. Food came out piping hot. They outdid themselves on the orange beef. We also enjoyed the perfect chicken lo mein.

Update: 4/14/2018 -- I feel required to report that this evening's meal at Panda Garden was outstanding. Timing was perfect, and the food came out steaming hot. Plus, we ran into some of my partner's friends who agreed that they love this place.

Update: 2/1/2019 -- Outdid themselves on the orange beef tonight. Everything else was perfect, and service prompt and well-timed.

Update: 5/17/2019 -- Amazing meal again, and the timing was perfect.

Update: 7/9/2021 -- So nice to be back for dine-in. Wonderful meal, great conversation with the server, our usual Panda Garden experience

Update: 6/18/2022 -- There were a few adjustments back to dine-in service, but I must report that tonight's dinner was perfect. We tried the wor wonton soup, which was incredible, super fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked shrimp, lovely broth. We then had a couple of our standby's, orange beef and almond chicken. Service was perfect as well.

Update: 0/19/2022 -- Perfect in every way. Food came to the table steaming hot, flavors balanced to perfection, ingrdients fresh and flavorful. Good to see more people in dine-in, and the sound of the phone ringing means they're doing lots of take-out. Only one server in the dining room, but timing was spot on.

This place is delicious! The owners are extremely friendly. The prices are a little high but the quality of food is high so that it's 100% worth it!

Best Chinese in the area. I have been going here since it first opened. The food is always good and their lunch special is a great price. I like that it is close to my house so I don't have to drive to aurora for good Chinese food.

This place came recommended by a few friends. It lived up to their recommendation. The Szechuan chicken was really great. The veggies were crisp and fresh. We also had the orange beef . The sauce was awesome. Looking forward to coming back.

Every time I come to this side of town my family makes me stop and pick up food here. The food is really good, I haven't ever had anything here that I didn't like. The service is always been good I've never had any issues.

I'm not sure why this place only has 3.5 stars cause I can't stop raving about it! I'm not sure exactly what the selection my girlfriend and I chose but basically it was an appetizer that consisted of egg rolls, chicken wings and crab thing, not sure what it was called as I am allergic, soups for each of us then our choose of an entree, all for $18.99. The soup was won-ton soup AMAZING! My friend kept saying her egg-drop soup was good as well. The chicken wing was delicious, especially with sweet and sour sauce but the entree...the entree, beef and broccoli, was by far the best I've had in Colorado ! Service was good as well. Highly recommend! we will definitely be back

My son and I are very picky about the sesame chicken that we get and this has been the best sesame chicken that we both have had in a long long long time five star no a million star. This is the best sesame chicken in a race. Me and my dad had 1 million stars.

I moved to the Thornton area a few months ago and Panda Garden has become my local go to spot for Asian food. I LOVE their lemon chicken, chicken vegetable soup and vegetable egg rolls. The food is not too greasy and very flavorful. I order here at least twice a month and find the food quality and timeliness for delivery are pretty consistent. Not surprisingly, sometimes there are longer delivery times during peak dinner hours, but always worth the wait. I tried a couple other Asian restaurants near by and they just don't come close to the food from Panda. I highly recommend and am not sure why their overall rating is a 3.8, not an accurate representation of the food at all!

The atmosphere is really nice and currently open for dine-in. Love their shrimp lo mein! We sat outside for 15 minutes waiting for our food and they brought it out to us. Great customer care. I give them 5 stars for sure.
