Klamath Motor Lodge

Definitely one of the best motels I’ve stayed at for sure. It was clean, smelled good, and and comfortable. It’s a bit aged of course but well put together with modern amenities.

The only thing I would change is the lighting in the room was way way to bright. Breakfast was okay

This is a no-frills motel, but the room was clean with colorful design. The pet-relief area had plush green grass. The breakfast was simple but gave me just enough energy to start the day!

Room was very clean. All linens smelled freshly laundered, all surfaces clean and neat, and the stay was quiet. Very well taken care of gardens and grounds, and run by an exceptionally warm and friendly local family. We stopped by every similarly priced spot in town to scope them out before deciding and this one was by far the nicest and cleanest. If you’re looking for an easy, safe, affordable, and quiet place to stop this is your best bet in town.

This is a great family owned Motor Lodge. Very clean. Very quiet. The rooms are small, but functional. Comfortable bed. Refer, microwave and coffee. Most importantly, the area was safe as opposed to the places closer to the freeway that tend to have transients in the parking areas.

Management and housekeeping were welcoming, courteous,& very helpful. Motel maintains a nice, clean pet area. Room refrigerator/freezer maintained good cold. Microwave was fast & hot. Air conditioner filter needed cleaning but worked well during hot days. Room window was operable (on first floor) for fresh air but should have a more secure lock. Beds were very comfortable. Slept well. Shower was beautiful - all clean granite walls. Had a very nice stay.

Clean rooms with newer paint and furnishings. We had a really pleasant stay, the inn keepers are friendly and helpful. There is a pool, continental breakfast, and microwaves & fridges in the rooms. Parking is convenient and the lodge is located pretty much in the center of town. Will definitely book here again when we return.

The checking was smooth. The lady that was at the counter was very nice. The room was clean. Everything in the room worked. One of the top places that I have stayed in over the last 10 years.

Super nice family run vintage motel. You can tell the owners cared about your comfort and your stay. Exceeded my expectations for the price. Rooms were very clean. They has a great pet grass area, sparkling outdoor pool and offered a continental breakfast.

Clean and comfortable. We were able to walk into the old town center for dinner, about 15 minutes away. An older place but well maintained.

Very nice staff, little morning snacks (and real milk for coffee in the office!). The rooms are clean, we loved the teal accents, lots of channels, very nice for its affordability!! Really appreciated the quiet, got some much-needed rest, was able to sew in the morning from the soft light while my boyfriend could continue to sleep.

First, it ( the room (most importantly) and the grounds) is very clean and neat. Second, the pet fee is reasonable and there is a well maintained pet area. Third, the TV and air conditioning unit were A-okay. I will definitely stay here the next time I am in Yreka.

I am going to be honest...I was very impressed with this lodge. The rooms are nice. Fridge, microwave, hairdryer are all in the room. Nice bathroom and friendly service. The price was one of the best in the area. We got to park right in front of our room which made it easy for unloading our luggage. Haven't had the breakfast yet, looks like light snacks but that's all we need for the morning. I'll definitely give this place a 5 star rating

Not a 5 star hotel by far but for around $100/night a great value. An older hotel recently remodeled and insanely clean! Have stayed here twice with the same experience. We will make this little classic, retro hotel a regular stopping point. Very quiet!

It’s actually a real nice, clean and quaint motel. Easy check-in. Nice beds, clean sheets, clean floors, great water pressure. For the price you pay, this should be your first option in Yreka. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area.

Very nice people and very good hosts. Very clean and comfortable room for the weary traveler. We forgot an object and they were very kind to ship it to us. Awesome!!!

The staff was very accommodating. I needed to make special arrangements due to my schedule. They were so nice and made it possible for me to secure a room that was far enough away from the normal foot traffic of the other rooms and guests. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I will definitely recommend the Klamath Motor Lodge to anyone traveling in the Yreka area.

Bizarrely great experiences for a $52/night room. The family that owns it has put a lot of work into upgrading the property -- the granite slabs in the bathrooms & above the mini fridge and the mosaic tile work were clearly done by hand. Cheerful paint and the nicest pillows we've experienced in anything but an upscale hotel. Big flat screen TV and FULL DIRECTV -- we watched the Game of Thrones finale in our motel room! Dog friendly with a grass area to take your pups out, but do make sure you call ahead if you book online to let them know you need a pet friendly room.

Maybe the one negative would be that the family who works there aren't incredibly friendly, but I think they work very very long hours. We had a late check in our first stay, but noted that on our reservation, and we (proud of ourselves for this) arrived within 5 minutes of my estimated check in time. Had to press the button outside the lobby many times and wait about 5 minutes before anyone responded, & then waited an additional 5 minutes to be met in the lobby. Oh well, in the grand scheme of things it's not a big deal, just made us a little anxious for a couple minutes that we would be having to find alternate arrangements at midnight in the bustling metropolitan city of Yreka. Oh, and no fans in the bathroom, so crank the TV if you need a little"privacy." Everything else insanely exceeded our expectations to the point where we were sending photos of the granite & tile work to our family after check in. We stayed here to break up our drive from Portland to LA, & were so pleased that we stayed again on our trip back. This is where we will stay each time we make this trek from now on.

Oh! One entertaining side note: The staff doesn't like to unwrap things apparently. A few of the lampshades still had the plastic wrap on them that said, "remove before use." We saw a planter outside that was in use but still wrapped as well. I guess it makes them last longer?

So Clean and Friendly. We were late to arrive and the manager called our phone to make sure we were still going to be arriving. We told him we would be there by 10:30. He held our room for us in a town where people were displace from the local fires. We were traveling with a truck and trailer and the manager allowed us to park in a safe place. The price was so fair and I would recommend this motel to all of my family and friends traveling through Yreka, CA.
