Holiday Inn Express Yreka-Shasta Area, an IHG Hotel

Very comfortable and convenient... close Hwy 5... we stopped there 'cause was snowing and freeway was closed when we arrived the attendant was really welcoming and helpful, available room and check in was under 15 minutes... also affordable, clean and cozy... definitely a great experience also when woke up next day view from our window was amazing that was a plus... thank you so much

Surprisingly nice. Rooms are clean, friendly staff, and convenient location. We were stuck due to I5 snow closure. Seriously, grateful to find an above decent hotel to wait out the storm.

We have been on the road 6 weeks, and stayed at 10 different hotels, this was the best, clean comfortabel, and reasonable prices. The 10 star breakfast was the topper. Try it, you'll love it.

About half way between Medford and Shasta nice amenities, friendly staff and super comfortable beds & pillows. The shower was awesome too. Dirt lot for trailers and a few big rigs. 👍 Thumbs up !

If you're towing anything, this is the hotel to stay at. There is an open lot for parking rigs/trailers, plenty of space in the actual lot for cars/trucks, there is a court space to park, if lot is full. This place is easy right off the highway, and it's next to a truckstop/gas station. The people inside are so kind, everyone was helpful and the rooms were immaculate, bed was comfortable. Overall I'd stay again.

Excellent place to rest, excellent, very clean and very comfortable, excellent attention from Miguel, the person in charge of making sure everything is available for breakfast.

We have stayed at this place before. I did not leave a review. I regret it. This place is top notch. Awesome! Breakfast clean rooms. Comfortable comfortable beds. I'm talking about comfortable bed the staff was very friendly highly recommend it. Just leave a room for me when I'm passing through

The staff was friendly, the rooms and grounds were clean but the best thing was the breakfast buffet. I have stayed at many Holiday Inn Hotels and this by far outshined them all. Amber was the staff member there and she welcomed you in like a guest in her home. The food was amazing, everything was hit and cooked well. The gravy was creamy and not watered down, there were 3 different kinds of sausage plus bacon, eggs that were perfectly cooked and fluffy. Everything was stocked, clean and tasted fantastic. I would stay again and pay more just for the breakfast. The staff was great but Amber was so wonderful, so friendly and dang she can cook! Thank you for getting us on the road and starting our day off with smiles and full bellies.

we called to see if we could get checked in early because my son had a long car ride and did not sleep. they had our room ready by 1pm thank you Keith! unfortunately we had to leave the same day we were not taking any chance due to the fire heading towards Yreka even tho they reassured us we were okay and they would let us know ahead of time if anything were to change. we spent maybe 3 hours I talk to Reyna at the front desk and said they would not charge us for the night and refunded our money because they were able to book it to one of the firefighters that was on the waiting list. there was another lady at the front desk I didn't catch her name but they were all working that Saturday. I appreciate everyone who I talked to that day making us feel safe there was so much was going on that day. hope everyone was okay! will definitely go back and actually spend the night there. the room was super clean everything was fresh thank you staff!

Great new Building!. Definitely would recommend this place if you're in the area and need a place to stay. Everything was very clean. The only thing, was, the people above us, when showering, was very loud in our room, like the pipes weren't insulated, and you could hear the water draining in gushing sounds through the wall. But, at least, it was only for a few minutes.

Just passing through and happened to come across the hidden away gem. People at the front desk took care of our accommodation quickly, they we're nice and very professional. Our room was very clean, extra pillows in the closet. Good coffee, and comfortable beds. I must also mention it's so quiet. I was honestly surprised by how quiet it was. Morning came, their not currently doing hot breakfast but they do have cold bagged items and sandwiches no complaints here. Will definitely recommend and return.

This was our first time at this Holiday inn express we have stayed in many other locations. When we first walked in last night at 8 pm the lady behind the counter was very welcoming she was wearing a mask but you could tell she was smiling. she was very nice and got us check in quickly. Our room was very clean with a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker with coffee pods, cups, lids and even a couple of tea bags. There was completely mouth wash, lotion, shower cap, makeup removal cloths and a bar of soap. There was a shampoo, conditioner, bodywash dispenser in the shower. They had a hair dryer hanging on the door. All of the towels were bright white and smelled fresh. After a good night's rest we went down to breakfast. Which was really good. There was Oatmeal, cereal, 2 different kinds of sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, egg omelet or scrambled eggs to choose from plus there was yogurt, muffins, cinnamon rolls, bagels, apples and bananas. And to drink there was 3 different kinds of juice, coffee, tea and even coco. They actually had something for everybody. No mater what you might like. When we checked out the lady's behind the counter were great. We will definitely be coming back to stay here and I would recommend this Holiday inn express to everyone

Very comfortable, well equipped room. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. Some background noise from freeway, but mostly masked by fan from AC/heater.
Slept well.

I totally love the place. The staff is fantastic, friendly and very helpful. The rooms are large and clean. The free breakfast every morning is tasty and the selection is large. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We stayed for the weekend a few weeks ago for my niece's wedding. Our stay was fantastic. The rooms are amazing and clean. The large credenza in the room provides a lot of space to place luggage! The staff was also incredible. Special shout out to the dining room manager. The food selection was the most expansive of any breakfast-included hotel that I can remember. And the area was so clean and well stocked. Also, had a great experience with the front desk attendant who checked us in on the evening of Friday, Oct. 15. I had requested a rollaway, but upon check in he said the option was not available for the room we booked with two Queens. However, he went above and beyond to deliver a rollaway to our room anyway to see if it would work. When we got it we realized whey they are not allowed in the double Queen rooms...they don't fit! They are big, wide rollaways so I guess that is the reason why. We very much appreciated his initiative to try and make it work for us. Bottom line: this is a great little hotel and a great value! Thank you! Highly recommend!

We ended up staying with our two children due to the snow storm, and were very impressed with how clean and large the room was! Last minute booking was easy, staff was very friendly.

Friendly staff. Clean rooms and facility.
Above all, EXCELLENT view of the mountains!

Only caveat is don't stay in room 218.
View is blocked by the drive-through carport and the smoking area is right outside your window.
Means you have no view and get to hear smokers chat all night lol

This place is really nice. Clean and organized. I stayed here for one night on my way south. Check-In was no problem without any reservation and was done quickly. Also the room was clean and very spacious.
One tip from my side: if you have a light sleep ask for a room with an uneven number, which is on the back side of the hotel facing away from the highway.
I was able to hear the trucks and their brakes when they drove down the hill. It didn't really bother me, because I have a deep sleep.
Breakfast was great and the usual Holiday Inn Continental Breakfast. They also have a nice pool and gym. Staff was very friendly and checkout was a breeze too. Definetly worth staying here...

Anna Perez the front office manager was great about helping us get into our room today. Even though the sign clearly says 3 PM check-in I had to ask for early check in because me and my wife and our baby had nowhere to go for a couple hours. Anna was quick to provide a service and get us into our room. Love staying here this is my third time price is great rooms are great bathrooms are really nice.
Anna really helped us out today. We will be back
