Black Bear Diner

I tried this place for the first time, and it was a delight. Good diner atmosphere, kind waitresses and the food is great. Thank you, and I will come back soon.

Yreka doesn't have many restaurants but at least it has Black Bear. Great breakfast and good lunch. Three different hot sauces. Very good bacon. Great omelettes. Adequate parking.

Stopped in for a lite dinner at the Black Bear Diner in Yreka and what can I say oh my dinner was so good. Ordered a Club Sandwich, wheat bread and not Toasted. Told the waitress, wanted it lite so she suggested to leave the middle slice of bread off. Perfect idea! Side was sweet potato fries. It was oh so good!

Totally recommend Black Bear Diner! Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

What a cute diner. I wished I could've taken pics of all the bear carvings and quotes on the barstools. You can tell that a lot of heart went into it.
I had the chicken strips, one cousin had a BLT and the other one fish fish and chips. The portions were generous and delicious. We couldn't finish it all but not because we didn't like it. Quite the contrary.
The staff was very friendly and inviting. We didn't have to wait but we were seated immediately. I highly recommend this place or one near you. I had not heard of them before but as we were driving back I kept seeing them everywhere. There is even one near me in Mesquite, TX. Very cool.

EXCELLENT SERVICE!! A+ I didn’t get to catch of the name of the young lady that helped us, but she was extremely attentive, very respectful, the food was DELICIOUS!! It was a great experience for me, I highly recommend it! And I would be more than happy to come back!!

Tuna Salad was so so good. I just used Red Wine Vinegar as the dressing, ohhhh it was so good. It really filled me up.

This is an excellent restaurant to visit while in Yreka. The waitresses are a great group. Friendly and an enjoyable place to eat.
Very close to I-5 On/Off Ramps.

Our Wonderful Server Jessica was amazing. The Crispy Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap with garlic fries and a Strawberry Cheesecake for dessert was the bomb. Absolutely great service, I highly recommend them.

Clean fast service great you will never go wrong. Home style options are the best when you just can't go another burger. .menue selection. I had the Less smaller portions chicken fried steak mashed potatoes green beans special, Reuben both excellent.

The parking lot was full, the restaurant was very busy and there were several people waiting in line when we arrived, but we were seated in a short period of time. Our server Destiny was awesome. We offered beverages right away and the pace of service was really good. My husband and I both had the Reuben sandwich, mine with salad and his with Cole slaw. We also had onion rings to start. All of the food was fresh and hot when it arrived.

The staff and managers were all hustling to support kitchen and servers. They were friendly and attentive. We will return when we are back in town.

This was the first time eating here. We were seated promptly, our drink order was taken immediately and our waitress came quickly to take our order. Our food came fast and was very very good. We will definitely be going back.

The cinnamon roll French toast was very good. The fruit wasnt great, the cantaloupe was not ripe. The trip tip was really good. The place was very clean, and had a very cute bear theme throughout.

I've never had a meal here i didn't love.
The food is consistently good, the staff is always friendly.
When we got here they said it would be a 10 to 15 minutes wait, and we were seated in three minutes.
I had the Bacon Cheeseburger Salad, super yummy, and my husband had the fish and chips, nice and crunchy

Good food and fast service clean place, reasonable prices friendly employees. This restaurant is better than roadhouse

When one enters Black Bear Diner, you have certain expectations: good service, quick service and decent food, well we got that. The manager, Jackie was our server and waiter and all was exceptional!

I waited 10 minutes after being sat to get anyone to come ask me if I wanted anything. I ordered 5 minutes later. I watched the wait staff look at their phones, touch their face, their hair, rub their nose and not wash their hands once. All the while serving food and drinks. The food was delicious. The cashier was rude 😭

Food was good I had a chicken fried steak and eggs came out real good the service was great all in all I give it a 8 out of 10

Brought my hungry bear appetite this morning. The Big Foot Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs plate definitely left a mark in my stomach. A highly satisfied customer.

Ordered over the phone and food was done by the time I arrived. It was hot and fresh and tasted great.

Amazing service. The staff here are so friendly. Great food. I enjoy your restaurants all over the West now.
