Excellent store with friendly and knowledgeable staff. They helped me out to get exactly what I needed and I was in and out within minutes. Much better than some of the other hardware stores in the area. Highly recommended!

Didn't buy anything, but we were immediately greeted by a helpful associate who took us directly to the items we needed. Very helpful. I'll always choose an Ace over a big box store because the associates seem to have more knowledge and experience and generally be more helpful. This store proved that idea to be true.

This ACE is amazing! Everyone is extremely helpful and kind. When you ask questions (even if it seems dumb) they are always respectful and guide you. I’ve been to this place 6+ times and someone has said hello before I got to an aisle. Highly recommend spending your time and money here!

This place is really cool, I came here for tubing for a project at work. The first thing I did was look around and then I asked. They showed me too the back where all the tubing was hanging up. I asked if I could grab the pump I was using the tubing for so I could match it and they didn't mind. So I did that and we had to cut the tubing which was really hard and took a few tools and a few people but they helped me out and got it done. I had a list of other things that I ended up asking for help with and they helped me with the entire thing. I would definitely go here if you know what your looking for as they know where everything is.

Gotta love A&A. I have been shopping here for decades. Great service. Kind employees. They carry things others don't. The best part? It isn't home depot. And, here you can find an employee when you need one!

Called ahead to make sure they had what I needed. The order was ready for me at the counter when I arrived. Excellent service!

Had to stop for some nuts and bolts and forgot to write the prices on the bag. Checking out they had to call an long time employee that knew exactly how much each cost without looking it up. This store took me back to the days of the old fashioned Mom and Pop hardware store you find in small towns with friendly staff with great work ethic and and sense of community.

I went to the store to find a clip to fix my blinds. They have a wide selection of nuts, bolts, and clips. I found the clip that I needed. If I needed anything else hardware related I would go there anticipating finding what I'm looking for.

I'm a bit biased here because this particular hardware store is a part of my heritage. Some of my earliest memories are of visiting this location with my grandfather. Recollections burned into my cherished memory bank, of a time passed, a lost mentor, exploring the caverns of endless opportunities and possibilities driven by creative imagination and powered by grandfather's knowledge of all the important things to a young boy. Bins of bolts, wire, racks of pipes and coils, and a tumbler of tools that one day I too would know how to use.

It's the same place, friendly, familiar, and anything a boy, a man, or a grandfather needs. Moms and daughters too. Homeowners' resources are everywhere at AandA, businesses will never be disappointed as well.

Completely the same as when this 52-year-old washed-up racer looked through his Englewood native eyes in 1973, however modernized for convenience with the selection of everything mechanical, structural, or natural than anyone would expect to fit in a space its size The tradin'post ain't no box store.. its a legacy of creativity and hometown honesty and integrity. I always try to support local business and my experience today perfectly sums up the reason why! I was in a hurry. I needed paint. Bailey, did not point me in the direction of the paint dept. She walked me there and helped me choose a couple items. She was knowledgeable and friendly. Here is where the story gets good. I needed some other items, so I gave her a quick rundown of some other things I needed from the paint dept and asked her to meet me at the register. Voila! A few minutes later, she appears at the register with my items. I get home to discover that she anticipated what I would need, even if I was in too big of a hurry to think about it. My package included paint stirrers and an opener. These are only a big deal, if you don't have them! Thank you to Bailey for her terrific customer service and for saving me a trip back the the store!

I find it laughable that there are less than 5 star reviews for this place. A&A is the best hands down. They have everything you could ever imagine and then some. And if they don’t, they can probably find it for you. I much prefer to shop here and support a local, family owned business. Some items are a wonderful deal and others are above the market rate but I feel good spending my money here.

Good to be back at A&A; probably first went here with my dad around 1960! They always had everything under the sun there, and still do. I found an oddball type of bolt I needed to complete a project. Brought back a lot of memories - best hardware store ever!

A&A is amazing. The staff is always so friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help. As an Englewood resident I love that they’re just a few blocks from my house and they are a true gem in the neighborhood. They represent everything we look for in our local businesses and I’m choosing A&A over Home Depot all day.
